- I recently took my wife's 2016 Scat Pack 392 Charger into Normandin Chrysler for the 175k service and while it was there they performed an inspection and gave me a breakdown of everything wrong with it and what the costs are.

Those are ridiculous prices from the stealership. Most of us can do those repairs ourselves for a fraction of the cost!
With labor rates in Silicon Valley clearing $200 per hour the only one that seems excessive to me is the engine mounts. While I agree the work isn't that difficult, most people can't do it themselves, they simply don't have the mechanical skills to do it.
@@LifeatSpeedreal thing is tools. RUclips on a popular mass made copy paste repairs is “easy”
My mom’s 2006 Daytona charger has +250k miles on it still going strong.
Nice. Also got a 06 with 160,xxx miles. Had it for 9 years never anything major
Great film sir! 👏
Thank you!
real world stuff - cool!!!
I bought a 23 skat pak limited edition swinger 9 months ago. I kept me 17 year old honda element with 255,000 miles on it . Just to keep the miles down on my new car. That honda had only regular maintenance issues for 17 years. Until this month. It seems everything went out at once.
3 oil leaks from seals in the engine. Front end parts needing replaced with all new struts.
New plugs . The labor to replace the seals was rediculuos. About $600 for each seal.
I had it all done . Since i haven't put any money in this car in 17 years, im hoping it will be at least 3 to 4 years before i do again. By that time i can pay cash for a new"second car".
I'm in Texas.
Repair rates are high everywhere.
Should take this to the car wizard. Would love to see his reaction to this
The wizard is a little far from me. Cool thought though
I'm surprised your cam and lifters haven't failed yet.
How much do they charge for the thorough check of the car?
It was included in the oil change they did
I'm actually shocked a Charger made it past 100k miles, let alone almost 200k
