We use a steam mop in our van with heaps of different cleaning attachments. It does everything, floors, upholstery, walls, benches, matresses, even a wire brush attachment for the bbq. The steam kills 100% of bacteria and gets any grime of any surface without any chemicals, and the mop heads smell like clean washing (because theyre re-washable).

Awesome video as usual, a couple of cleaning hacks for you all. As space and budgets are tight, for most of your cleaning, floors, fans, fabrics and plastic make up a spray bottle with water and 3 -4 drops of Tea tree oil (natural antiseptic). For your bathroom to actually kill the mould use oil of clove, just a couple of drops on a cloth n wipe over surfaces with mould or subject to mould. For less effort on the bathroom floor use a Velcro disc on your drill with a micro fibre cloth. Essential oils are expensive but a little goes a long way and most have a variety of uses. With Tea tree, Eucalyptus and Lavender get the water soluble ones.

Hi Justin, in your video when cleaning the fly screens of the revisable exhaust fan in the shower, you mentioned you've not used the fans in reverse, and not sure why you would? we find it really comfortable on a hot day having a shower with the fan reversed, passing a soft breeze over you while your wet really helps cool you down.

For Cold Sore's.. when I feel one coming on...
dab it with Lavender pure essential oil, with cotton bud preferred.. every few hours.
If you get it early will fade away.. Though keep up the lavender till there is no soreness.
Increase Zinc intake and Hydration. Being mindfull of both along with heat.
Check back few day's prior to note what caused you to be stressed, i.e. long walk in the heat with low water intake or few too many extended happy hours. Or rushing to timetables.
Whatever consider your hydration and zinc levels more so in extreme times.
Raising ones VitD level to 70-80 range results in higher immune system and health.

Ammonia diluted in hot water and a deck scrub. Put on floor, scrub and mop or microfibre off. Take you 10min max to get that floor right. (Commercial cleaner here) dab of nilodour (two drops) on your vents and there’s your clean and disinfected floors with a great smell.

You could try baby shampoo and water in a spray bottle for cleaning especially mirror and windows. Ratio is about a desert spoon to a litre of water. But I think depending on the size of your spray bottle it will be trial and error on how much shampoo you put in.

If it was clean running mountain water I’d drink it through our water filter.
If I was worried I’d drop a sanitiser tab in the tank and wait overnight before drinking 🤙

Good video 👍 - like the tips!… have you thought of ceramic coating the shower? Might make it less susceptible to the red dirt upfront?

Always look forward to each video you guys do, plenty of excellent tips n tricks. Can you let us know what you clean your shower door with please...they always get really grimey. Great way how you store your fruit too. Does it keep ok like that? And can you do a vid on what type of computer and data plan you find the best please. Don't think a tablet is the way to go. Just saw your laptop.

Handy vid guy's, do you need to do any cleaning maintenance on the battery system under the couch, or does that stay relatively clean?

    • @TripInAVan

It stays clean hey, just check it when you have couch cushions removed. Might vacuum it once in a while just to remove some dust but generally it’s all sweet
