First ride on Honda CBR 1000 SP Fireblade 2017 with John McGuinness

- John is such a nice guy that he rode pace I could hold on. It's the first ride on new Honda Fireblade. I managed to make onboard on Portimao race track. First opinion is very good. No lack of power, super easy handling and sweet electronics. You can see some serious wheelies and one stoppie. Got to say that bike is great. Can't wait to compare it with BMW S1000RR, Kawasaki ZX-10R, Yamaha YZF-R1 and new Suzuki GSX-R 1000!

The title makes it sound like John is the one riding though. Prob should change it to clarify.
Jonh is riding on-board(his POV), and hes following guy martin(99% sure).. you can tell at the end when hes talking about the ride, braking and corner approach. HES RIDING IN DEFAULT SETTINGS then some other bloke fiddles with his electronic suspension based on what he was saying. These two are BEASTS!!

Fast forward 2 years and the new blade has thrown off 3 extremely experienced road racers and it hasn’t won anything on the roads.

Was this on the Bridgestone slicks? Many owners complain that changing the rear tyre size ruins the quick shifter and traction control, you didn't seem to have any problem.
It was long time ago but i think these were Bridgestones. For sure size was same as OEM. It’s possible that different size will not cooporate with TC. That’s why in Panigale for example tou have calibration mode

Lol ok. Its not like I teach on track for a living. Of course some dumbass on the internet knows better. In case you didn't realize some of us ride with the electronics turned down and have fun throwing the bike around. Plenty of other videos of riders on the bike being smooth or rough. You'd know this if you bothered to open your eyes and not your mouth.

honda should of kept the electronic seering stalike i had on my 05 fire blade that kept my bike very stable you saw that get wobbley big mistake they should of kept it why manufactures get stupid threw time?? back in 195 honda was ahead of there time with the 900RR and the F2 and F3
this ride did not make the bike look smooth , I know from people that have ridden it to be totally awesome and very very smooth other the the wheelie control that people are hating but other then that the bike is going to be awesome. ...

This CBR has a r1000 16 engine.... Hate this sound, i like good Old simple 4 cylindres
this is a simple inline 4..... Yamaha has to be the only inline 4 that's not simple with it's crossplane crankshaft.
