What a great job converting this gas station to a US look !!! I'm very familiar with the ARAL stations growing up in Gremany, and always liked their color scheme. The MOBIL brand conversion looks great !!!
Thanks so much, Tom! I really liked the Faller kit of the Aral station and the color scheme as well. I thought it would also work for a Mobil station conversion without having to paint it. The blue color could be darker for the Mobil station but I think it's close enough.
Hi Armando. 😁good to see you hope your well enjoyed your construction of the gas station as usual done to perfection 👌stay safe and well my friend all the best from the uk cheers for now al 😁👏👏👏👏👌🙋♂️
I am completely blown away by this. I used to enjoy building projects like this and have made a few gas station dioramas of my own- but your attention to detail in converting this station to a Mobil is making me think about paying more attention to detail in the things I build. I especially like how you did the sign and made it an illuminated sign. Great, fantastic video!
Thanks so much for watching and really appreciate the very nice comments. It's always fun to be able to put as much details in a model project. Pretty sure you've made some nice ones yourself. Have a great holiday!
Excellent job kit-bashing the Mobil station Armando. You definitely illustrated that one is not stuck with the stock appearance of an otherwise useful kit. Keep up the good work.
Simply outstanding build and video, the lighting is great if a.person just saw the gas station in a photo they would never know it was a.model, great job and video.
hello Armando...very nice conversion...looks fantastic...is there any way you can defuse the lightn behind the "Mobil": sign on the building ??? thx 4 sharing.. vinny
Hi Vinny, thanks for watching. Unfortunately, the lack of room inside the sign made the light focus on the center and dim on the sides. Using 2 bulbs and adding a layer of plastic inside would have looked a lot better I would think. I'm just glad enough to have been able to illuminate them somehow. 😊 Really appreciate the comments. Take care. Armando
Hi nice track , channel 👍I am new here , when you print these small sign on , think you say glossy paper , what program do you use to this , and are the scale ho in this 👍thanks , you got a new sub from 🇩🇰, hope to learn more from your channel, have a nice day , regards Rene that’s end resultat on your gas station are stunning , good work
Hi Rene. Thanks for watching and really appreciate the sub and comments. I actually just save the photos to my computer and adjust the size during printing. My layout is HO scale and I would do trial and error prints on a regular paper until I get the size that would look right on the layout then I do final prints using the photo paper. Hope that helps. 🙂
I'm not an architect and thanks for the compliment. 🙂 I guess if you like scale modeling and model railroad stuff in particular, these things can be done easily just by searching online. Thanks again and take care.
Hi Dave, looks like it got discontinued in a while now. This is the only place that I found selling it online which would come out a little too expensive. www.ebay.com/itm/294100260471 I got mine from modeltrainstuff.com about 2 years ago for $70.

Hi Bob. Thanks for watching and the comment. Armando
Really like the lighting work you did.
You design all stuff right? If yes, I do really appreciate your work. And what scale you use ?
Other than the structures built from kits, I built everything from scratch. My Layout is 1/87 scale. Thanks so much for watching.
@@abcando1: thanks for reply my friend. One more question. Are you architect ? You’re so smart
I'm not an architect and thanks for the compliment. 🙂 I guess if you like scale modeling and model railroad stuff in particular, these things can be done easily just by searching online. Thanks again and take care.
