- Timex Scout TW4B14100 40mm with blueface, date, red second hand and indices at 12:00 oclock, brass case, mineral crystal, Indiglo and 50meters water resistance.
Weighs 60 grams.
Produced in 2020. Not sure how old mine is so battery life may be questionable. But I can change my own batteries.
I like it so far, love indiglo.
I really like this model. Simple and nice. The blue face with red second hand is a nice touch.
Make sure you know weather the hands are on the am , or pm ...after midnight + 3 hrs to set the date. Or it mucks up the movement.
Good to know. Thanks.
That’s only if it’s a mechanical movement. Not an issue with quartz.
Mine doesn't have the E expedition logo.....just says TIMEX across the back tells the battery type , and that it's stainless steel back. the website WR to 50m. 20 MM lug width. A8 J
Just curious. Did Timex change their E expedition logo? mine is the TW 4B14100 WX
Thanx.
Not sure. I bought mine here in CN off Taobao.com so who knows how old it is or when it was manufactured.
👍
I bought three of these trying to own one that had glow in the dark hands. On two, only the minute hand was luminous, on the third, neither the hour hand, nor the minute hand would glow. To me, a watch that doesn’t function as designed is worthless. Contacted Timex; their customer service is as bad, or worse, than their quality assurance.
I just looked at mine in the dark. Nothing. Don't even think I knew that. But the backlight works at least.
@@demej00 You tried to demonstrate the lume at the end of your video but it didn’t work despite you purposely charging it for the test. I wish I had watched your review before I bought the second watch. I can’t even explain why I bought the third one…Long Covid maybe?
@@SmokeGray I forgot I did that. Have to watch my videos again sometimes. I still wear mine a lot. I find I don't use the backlight at all at night because I would still have to put on my glasses to see what time it is.
