Found one at Wal-mart on clearance for $11. Olive strap, black case, slate face, light gray and white markings and hands. Working perfectly, super comfotable. Going to be great for doing some mountain hiking. For $11 I couldn't pass it up.
Also got a neat little Casio multifunction with tide/moon graphs on it in the same trip to the store for $5 off the clearance shelf too. Apparently the woman at the Wal-mart said it "didn't work" (because it needed a new battery). So one $2.50 battery later; Boom! New watch for tracking tide on my next beach trip.
Looks like I have a new place to check every month to score some cheap deals. Maybe next time they'll screw up and mark down a G-shock watch to $25 or something.

I think everyone has a soft spot for Timex...first girlfriend, first car, first watch. Better ones may have come along later, but still...
This is not something for a collection, but rather an excellent day-to-day watch, designed and build as such. Out of my collection this is the one I take on travel, as a "no worry" option. I paid 43 euro on Amazon, that's about 45 Dollars.

best for under 50 , no doubt about that , boderry voyager for under 100 i would say , been rocking it for the last couple of days , nh35a movement , titanium case , sapphire crystal ,100m water resistance and a screwed down crown.
I want to add a field watch in my collection and I know it will get more wear time than my other watches. Really confused between timex and boderry. Like boderry for it's specs, like timex for the sleeker look and indiglow.
@@simantagoswami49 the lume on boderry is shit (i am exaggerating because i might be comparing it to seiko), if that is your preference i would prefer a timex , boderry excels in every other parameter , if you are in india(bengaluru) and you are ordering from their website , it will cost you about 2k extra because of the customs , you might need to add that to the budget as well. For me , ever since i got the boderry voyager , i have never wore my timex expedition . If budget is a constraint , i would recommend you to get a timex , else get a boderry.
Does the dark brass stay the same colour? Or is it just a coating that will wear off?
From what I've heard, it develops a unique patina.
