Given that I have almost no interest in ICE cars these days, I actually found that to be very interesting view on the Chinese market. I learned something. Thanks.
As long as filial piety is a thing in China, long wheelbase cars will always be in demand even if car ownership reaches a hundred percent.
We had Chinese cars for a while in Brazil, but the latest generation of BYDs, Cherys, JACs and new brands shows how much tech and equipment is valued in China. Brazilians love tech, but the western brands always "paywalled" screens and small conveniences in higher trims, which is not always the case with chinese brands.
I totally get why the Tiguan L Pro is tuned to China. Great car.
the same thing happens for japanese brands in indonesia 😅 when chinese brands start entering Indonesia, they upgraded the features to be at least competitive. but the leader still japanese cars for now. the china ice car is still lagging, and ev still expensive and charging facilities are scarce. and dont talk about hybrid, in my country the tax is counted twice because hybrid have 2 engines. 😂

Amazing so VW are selling a better spec'd, larger version at a cheaper price in China, in that case I look forward to the price war arriving in the UK.
Now I wanna know more about BYD's new hybrid system!

It's funny how a nation that's pretty short always gets bigger versions and here's me who is 6'4 in Europe struggling in the previous version of the Tiguan
Well yes, you see Western cars are designed for China but then they also designed extra Chinese cars for China just as a nice little fuck you to us tall people. Just don't grow or chop off your legs when you fork over 60k for an ugly overpriced Econ box.
Roads in Europe are tiny, a car of this size would be a inconvenience for most people
@@laercio3862 No its because the manufactures have had no new competition for years and have given us what they want to give us not what we want. If you want small the original Smart car would fit the bill but was ridiculously expensive.

Id like one car with cockpit just likes aero fighter, but I agree the future car will have no steering, no button in the seat chamber anyway. tiguan L pro is catering chinese right way but not too much, maybe needs to entertain "old money" as VW did before, a mediocre innovation
Dont buy vw , over priced . I test drove it last week sooooo disappointed 😢
