Actually, the problem with the Solo was a fix that costs
Wow super insightful. Thanks for sharing. You could totally do a video on that
All those cars being destroyed is quite sad and extremely wasteful. But I gotta use a paper straw and "do my part" smh
Destroyed? What a fucking shame!!! I should have at least a discounted modell as an ex stock holder
People don"t realize this vehicle is a very unique rare collectible.
It's possible but doesn't automatically mean it's going to become a highly valuable collector car.
We cant have nice things. The government won't fund/subsidize 3 wheeled cars. I wonder what really happened???
It's not hard to build a small 1 or 2 person 50+ mpgs commuter vehicle but they refuse to do so....Also where are the small 2 seater, aerodynamic, affordable, commuter, hatchback EVs that aren't electricity guzzlers? Why not build something similar to the solo that can charge off 3500watts aka a standard 120V AC plug in 🔌. So #1 it can charge without no additional expensive extra charging port having to be installed in your garage.
Who ever keeps theirs, will see an exponentional increase in value since these cars will undoubtedly become instant collectibles, they will never depreciate.
If you have the means, keep this car for the body alone, you can slways do a motor swap.
Possibly!
@@DanielsTechStudioPossibly is the best 1 word answer.....My dumbass ends up writing a book explaining why it's not always the case.....1988 mint condition Yugos aren't worth big money just because they're rare.
Damn this quality deserves more views
Thank you! 😁
*"autocycles"* is the correct term and there are 3 manufacturers at the moment with Aptera by far the most ambitious. The "fun utility vehicle" made by Arcimoto has 1000 produced and some possible very solid growth prospects going forward quite suddenly.

I saw two of them months ago as Pizza Hut delivery vehicles.
This recall went into effect in February 2023. Big yikes if Pizza Hut is still using them 😬
@@DanielsTechStudio it was definitely after February when I saw them. Pizza Hut or their employees really don’t want to give up these. 😆
@@battery_wattage best of luck to them lol hope it doesn't die mid-delivery
The Pizza Hut cars were part of a fleet test program and thankfully were not purchased. This was common for EMV with similar schemes for 7-Eleven, DHL and Hilton Hotels. With any luck, the little death traps have gone to the crusher.
I had one it was fun to drive . Never had any problems so tried to buy extra parts they would not sell any parts . The warranty was void and I got mine in 11/23 I would have kept I will put the refund to the aptera .
I still have my solo
How do you feel about it? About this issue?
@@donquixotedoflamingo9037 My brother had the information group from his company research what really happened behind the scenes. It was a financially motivated decision to save money for a future product. Abandoning the Solo saved them all future liability to cover warranty issues, stock parts, pay service personnel.
@@donquixotedoflamingo9037 I feel fabulous about my car, and I feel horrible for everyone who got scammed by this dishonest company.
this is wild! I actually really liked that car, I had it for 3 days and it was so much fun to drive even did donuts in a dirt parking lot. and I was just about to see If i could buy a used one when I found your video.😅
Bad news with the Arcimoto too. Still keep trying to improve but can’t seem to get one built for the people who paid or invested in it. Sad cause I really think Arcimoto is a great idea. Some say the warehouse is closed, number on website is disconnected. How will these people get their money back?
Wow really?? That's insane! Thanks for sharing. I'll definitely look into it and try to research what's going on
Can't wait for Aptera.
now undelivered solo in China appeared on internet selling for 20k rmb like 1500usd given the fact it can not be registered and not road legal plus it will be service and repair issues. When it comes to EV, they are not heading to the right direction thats all
Drove one years ago at the LA Auto Show.....not bad. Shame what happened. The fact that they do not know the extent of the issue and how to remedy is suspect. One on FB in HB for $25k. What did they sell for new?
When I drove it they tried to sell it to me for 15k, including a heavy discount. Full price was just over 18k
I loved the solo EV
The recall was a scam
What do you mean by scam?
@@DanielsTechStudio The company chose to abandon the Solo for financial reasons. There is not a single incident that anyone can find anywhere on the internet about the Solo have electronic failure.
@@DanielsTechStudio within a few weeks the company announced recall, then a new company head, then a buyback, then a new product. After much research it appears the most cost effective thing for them was buyback. They are not responsible for warranty, or service, or supplying parts for the next decade.
It fails
