That is what I always say . All the voices he makes ... his voice , the palette knife , tipping the brush over the canvas . Altogether they make a peaceful mixture of voices !

Pretty hard to imagine that good ol' Bob used to be a First Sergeant in the US Air Force. In his own words, he was "tough" and "mean", and "the guy who makes you scrub the latrine, the guy who makes you make your bed, the guy who screams at you for being late to work."
He was a t.i. too. A training instructor at boot camp 🗣🗣
I'm pretty sure, that prior life made him and he wouldn't be the Bob Ross we know without it. He probably exhausted all the bad temperament, anger and other feelings in his early life and became a master of self contentment from it.
I have tried to imagine Bob screaming orders at men while he was a sergeant in the air force. I just can't picture that. I can see him smliling and saying, " OK men, let's make some happy little beds."
My uncle was in the AF same vintage as Bob. Pretty sure their basic training was tasting all the different beers.

Been havin a bad day and literally cried the most of it until I watched Good old man Bob Ross, love him. He makes me so calm and to trust in life. Look at that glory he’s painting!
its hard to believe this man yelled alot when he was in the military, infact thats what made him choose to live a more quiet life after leaving the service.
On the first day, the Lord covered the entire canvas with a thin, even coat of the liquid hwite.

Yes you re right , God must have big deal when He creates Alaska with many happy great mountains n hills with happy thick snow covering every of them creating happy fantastic and charismatic mountains .layering by a fam of happy willow trees there, a happy baby tree standing by happy big maama tree , happy brothers n sisters trees .you bring all together in beautiful way .....Loooove it !!

3:58 bob hasn’t even really done anything yet laid down 2 colors and already you can see the water the pink and blue sky in your head this man was amazing it’s sad that effortless talent like his along with his genuinely nice, warm personality is such a rarity these days. You really are missed BoB but I’m glad these videos will forever be around and most importantly your amazing work will live on forever

My grama woke me up crying in the other room my dad went to check on her and she was "freezing cold" it's the middle of summer and I'm so hot I'm sleeping with a frozen water bottle I was kinda freaked out then I was about to go back to sleep and put on this video right after the commercial was finished within the transition I heard a clap like someone's hands right beside my face its exactly 3:00Am in the morning I'm so afraid it might of been my water bottle but it was so loud it pierced threw my headphones and my tv it's now been 15 minutes and I'm still shaking in my boots I'm sleeping with the lights on
2 hours ago I watched an alien abduction video and I was like "if that happened to me I would know aliens exist and they are cool" now I just wish I went to sleep hours ago

After wondering why he was ALWAYS so happy to clean his brushes, I gave his method a try.
It really is a kick. Try it! :)
I'm an artist and I actually do, do that...it helps to completely get the excess paint and water off the brush

Aaw I became relaxed in a much different way when starting this video and having had subtitles activated because of an earlier video. I was already in a good-humoured state (being able to laught about really simple things) and when the intro started the subtitles said "Elevator music" and I was in stitches for a good couple of minutes.
