So there is this girl, she showed me sleep token last year in July. The first song she showed me was the offering, I immediately fell in love with the boys. I went down this beautiful rabbit hole of their music, while texting every day with her, I connect this band so much with her, it's insane. From August to January I was basically only listening to them. I booked a flight for October in September to see her again for the first time after I initially met her. We had an incredible week together, one night we laid in bed together listening to sleep token and I sang those exact lyrics to her. Then in November she got a passport and a plane ticket to see me, it was the first time she went away from home for more than a week, not regarding the fact that she never left her home country. We went to see sleep token in my country twice in two weeks, the first concert was great, but at the second concert III recognized us, he shook my hand and gave her a pick, that she gave me later. It's been an amazing time again. Now we're in April, the past months haven't been easy for her and the contact is wearing off it's so sad but this music will always remind me of the great time we had together. Right? Like, I'm sure if I thought real hard about it I could find more examples of this, but at the time, this was the first Sleep Token song that felt like it was "soaring" if that makes sense. Just a completely different vibe!
