i have listened to this speech so many times, sleep token has become the most important band in my life, no music has spoken to me, held me, and helped me cry the way sleep token has. i wish for nothing but the best for the entire band.

Late to this party as I am, I'll share my own thoughts anyway. This video just goes to show, I still have things to learn and work on in my craft. See I'm a witch who's jumped into Shadow Work recently. And about two years ago I started that jump with Tarot Reading. That's around the time I discovered this band actually. Sleep Token is one band among many, that has become a fixture of my craft since I've realized where my full strength lies. I started witchcraft in my youth with crystal magic and for years I never dove any further. Beyond having no real teachers or direction, I don't know what held me back for so damn long. It wasn't until a few years ago, that I finally began to seek proper understanding. I have since found it in sources I never anticipated. Aside from the occasional witchcraft focused channel, I have discovered videos by those like Max Derrat and Aeon of Dreams. Whose discussions of philosophy and more have slowly become more entwined with my craft than anything I ever could've learned through others. Knowledge from other sources is still very much important though, as this video has demonstrated to me. As recently as this year however, I have truly begun to accept and understand a very important aspect of myself through what I've learned and continue to learn. I've always held a deep appreciation for music since my childhood. A passion only strengthened by my time in choir during my Middle and High School years(7th - 12th grade). Both times I had the same choir director because it was a small town public school, and I had the same man teaching me in Music Appreciation as well. Through that era of my life, my thoughts and love for music was morphed and etched into my soul. Even if I didn't realize just how deeply it resided in me until recent years. In my attempts to practice tarot reading, shadow work, divination, and even my first craft with crystal magic, music has played a role in some way or another. Music, songs, these are my spells now. I mention and honestly ramble about these things, because I think I now understand why I've been tied so strongly to specific bands. Especially to Sleep Token and others like them. If there's one thing, one word I've always bared in mind, even when diving into curses at times, it's healing. Healing has always been my greatest focus, that is what I've always sought for others, and for myself in other ways too. No wonder I became so attached to this band, why I never found a song I disliked by them, why their work features so heavily as spells for me, why it works so well for me. Each song was made to reach out and achieve the same thing I seek to do. Thank you for this video good sir. This has been among the strongest affirmations of my identity in my craft. A music witch, alongside shadow and crystal of course. It also has brought me on a journey of my own through these ramblings of mine. Something I suspect you were hoping for with the audience that sought this video out. I also thank you for the interpretation you brought forth, it certainly did bring me to a far better understanding of the group and why their songs continue to feel right at home in my practice. I'm not sure if the band themselves would ever see this, but hey a lady can have a little faith and hope. So thank you to the members of Sleep Token for the wonderful journey your albums have brought us on, and for whatever comes next for you all. Blessed be to you, and everyone here. So shall it be.

Saw them in Montreal, QC. They ended with euclid. Perfect setlist. I would recommend are you really okay? Between Ascensionism and TMBTE, because of the same song pattern, and feeling that AYRO? Is about his own reflection, like he is talking to himself. Just before the demand of begging about returning to Eden and then, with Euclid... being in the acceptance and the peace with his own heart and feelings.

I listened to Sleep Token last year, just for fun. But right now, I don't even know that they got me too attached like this. Their songs, their music, their lyrics, oh God-. I found this video this morning and when it reached the end, when Euclid started to play, it broke me. I've been bottling up my emotions but when I listened to them, I felt I wanna cry like a baby. But now, I know. They're more than just a band, they're my everything. I feel like they're saving me from the void I don't even know. The animosity I felt toward myself, gradually shifted. They're helping me to accept myself. Sleep Token is more than just a band. They're a lifesaver, they saved me. And I know they save so many people here. I love these boys so much, I love them more than life. And, Luke, thank you for making this video. You didn't know how big the impact of this video had on me. I'm still crying and trying to calm down a bit. But, really, thank you for this. Thank you for being born too, I hope you're doing great and please take care of yourself. p.s: - I know, so many grammatical errors. - My favorite songs from Sleep Token are Granite, Ascensionism, Give, and Take Aim. ;)

I’m new to this band and the first song I ever heard was rain. It opened me up to all the albums I ended up exploring thereafter. I’ve endured trauma since I was a child and hearing his lyrics and raw emotions caused my own emotions and thoughts that I have buried or fought to ignore to resurface cause I had no knowledge of how to heal them and move on in life. A lot of this baggage I’m carrying is slowly melting away because I found an outlet to let me feel these emotions out. I have a history of self harm so when he describes his own struggles and how he feels lost is the same things I felt when that was my outlet to numb my pain. I turned to hiking and gravitated back to nature and it’s healed me up to a point that can only go so far. ST is another level of acknowledging and understanding and accepting and it’s healing the pain I can never speak of because it’s too painful. I’m so grateful for this band and this courageous person to put his own emotions and thoughts into these albums because people are afraid to feel, afraid to reach out and are dismissed for how they feel which ends up being another suicidal story. My life could have ended so many times and I’m glad I fought with each episode because now I have someone to relate to in these songs. I’m so grateful for Sleep Token.

I fell in love with Sleep Token because Vessel's story, while our paths are different, manifests feelings I can't really express externally. The depths of depression that are so dark and all-consuming that you feel there's no other option than to *let* it consume you. While I'm not as hopeful in my own escape from it, Vessel's hope for a brighter future for himself is infectious for me. A nice little reminder that there *can* be a way out. Somehow.

I haven’t been attached to a singer telling his truth since Chester Bennington. I know about trauma. Chester never hid his pain. Vessel keep going we are all here for you.

I'm still skeptical about sharing my story here but I feel like this is the right place. I won't bore you so I'll just put it in bullet points. 1. Age 4, parents got divorced after domestic violence. 2. Age 4-10 stayed lonely, never knowing, befriended books, cartoons and music. 3. Age 11, new life begins, with more struggles, both physically and mentally. 4. Age 19, stepfather (new life) dies, just mom and dog remained. 5. Age 21, started college, left home, kept my dog with me, (best thing in my life, definition of love). More and more struggles, failed at love. 6. Age 23, dog (Veer) dies, (may the God Mother take care of him). Loneliness encapsulates into a dark abyss. (Still there). 7. Now know my purpose, just need the demons to guide me through. This is amazing. I never understood the true definition of what sleep token was saying. I knew it was a whole mystery. I fell in love with his songs and his songs attached to my life line by line. I agreed with every single line he wrote. It would tie into my own life. Almost like he knew what would go on in my life. This video forever changed the way I view this band. Such an amazing story.

Being able to see them live during this years tour was ethereal. You can tell how by they have the setlist set up, they’re telling a store from start to finish. The way the lights went along with each song. Everything is so purposeful, the raw emotion behind each song. I’ve been to so many concerts but ST genuinely is otherworldly
