No kidding, I'm part of a two carrier expedition currently scouring Eta Carina for any new Guardian stuff, and like half the area behind the nebula is Validating Country lol. I'm expecting to run across a gift shop any minute.

But this brave CMDR would not stop there, oh no, for not even a fully mapped Milky Way could satiate the vicious curiosity of such a paragon of humanity. Andromeda would be the next to submit to total topographical testing, with CMDR Validating leaving the closer satellite galaxies for us mere mortals to explore. But now I have learned that the one I looked up to, the godly figure in whose footsteps I've followed, the one and only CMDR that I aspired to be, never existed to begin with. Today is a sad day indeed, and one that I shan't forget for some time. It has called into question my purpose in our universe, and will forever tarnish what little hope exists in my mind.
10 million a week is so worth it bro. You can be so lazy using Fleet carriers. You can also actually get some shit done in your house and finish up projects while the fleet carrier takes you from place to place. On top of that you're bringing your whole Armada with you. If you like PVP this makes it where you can bring the war to someone else. It's the good good. I didn't want one to begin with but now I don't know how the hell I got along without it before.
When carriers can be attacked and destroyed, I’ll love them. For now they’re portable Starbases and completely useless unless you plan to live outside the bubble.
I love my carrier, it's got 5bil in its bank, and I make sure it always does. And if I ever wanted to sell it, I get an extra 5 bil back in my pocket. It's so funny hearing the haters wish they had one, coz 10 mil a week is nothing.

I remember when Lave 2 actually DID have a planet-side port on it. Even though it was still permit locked, I could still get close enough to receive radio transmissions from it on approach.
I may have found something raxxla related. Delphi system near the pleiades nebula. I was searching for the thargoid device in the 5C or 5A planet, cant remember which. Whichever says it has 5 thargoid locations. I came upon a crater near these coordinates: longitude 60 latitude -159 cant remember much more. The asteroid in the crater was glowing weirdly in night vision mode. I decided to check it out and suddenly just before landing, all power went down like when a thargoid pulls you out of hyperspace. Power went on as fast as it turned off. I got a message, new mission related signal source detected. I didnt have any transactios at the moment. I targeted that signal source and then an ai vehicle dropped there. I scanned it and its faction was the very same dark wheel that in the shinrarta dezhra system. It send an ai message which said "You are not authorised to be here." It was a federal corvette and i was in a keelback so legitmately didnt stand a chance. After that i was in the rebuy screen but it spawned me in jameson memorial station. Got explorer rank elite suddddenly
I landed on Lave 2 in the early days (2016) when it was still open. That's where I had my first SRV drive, panicked, fell off the landing pad perimenter and ended up stuck upside down at the base. Also thought I'd lost the ship as I couldn't recall it properly.

Yep, I am in the same boat. Zero interest in the FC. Besides, I think that since that update, the game has attracted many players that think that this is some kind of arcade, people that watched some speedrun videos from the beginning, and have got a FC and a conda and don't know what to do with them or just what to do in the game, because they haven't even got a single engineer and they don't have any interest in them. I try to help them, explain them what this game is about and how to play it to fully enjoy the experience, and often they are rude AF.
I know you probably know but you can plug a keyboard into your console and it makes it so much easier for typing in chat you don’t have to click you just start typing when you look up to the chat
On the other side of this, on the PC every time I look at the "chat" window it automatically defaults to me typing into it and it is EXTREMELY ANNOYING.

When your asp explorer (renamed a55 explorer) is fully upgraded and so is your anaconda that has everything possible engineered accept the guardian booster, missiles, armour and power distribution with every e.e it makes you think "why have I done this then"

Yeah, good luck trying to find something that's not even implemented in the game. This is why when clues get dropped about possible generation ships spotted its almost always right before or right after an update and THEN as soon as the updated game goes live, the generational ship will be found soon after.
You turn faster with flight assist off, and even faster when boosting. Toggling FA off and tapping boost, and quickly toggling FA back on once you've turned is the maneuver
And then some. Fleet Carriers are a slightly more expensive tool for Diamond Miners, but generally pretty cheap in general, considering most diamond miners just use 'em as storage and taxis

If you cant make 10 million in a week for your MOBILE STATION you suck at this game. Even if it was 100 million a week it would still be worth having a fleet carrier. They’re worth the work which is around 7 billion credits which isn’t that hard to acquire.

Funny, whenever someone discovers something that's been missing or 'lost' like generation ships (which are always found after an update and then clues get dropped in game story/news net coincidentally) it gets announced because some yahoo who finds it first gets recognition and becomes cannon in the games story.. It's not even implemented in the game. There's PLACE HOLDERS that are permit locked or act like glitches (can't reach destination after jumping into the system etc) that could be anything from future DLC plans to some future story event that has yet to be in game.

It showed up in a novella called "The Dark Wheel", that came with the original Elite, but there's very little information on what it actually is. Theories range from a planet, to a state of being. I'm not a Raxxla hunter, or an expert on the lore, but I would suggest doing a search on here for "Elite Dangerous Raxxla" videos (Ignore the one from ObsidianAnt that says "Raxxla Found", though, as that was put up on April Fool's Day. I get your point, but imagine it like this. If all your ships that are currently docked up in stations had to pay to remain docked - a weekly docking fee. Now imagine that if you don't pay that fee, after a few weeks the game sells all your ships to cover the cost. Now imagine you don't play the game for six months for whatever reason - you come back to the game.... and all your ships have gone. I don't know about you - but that wouldn't be a fun game mechanic for me. (full disclosure: I'm too poor to own a fleet carrier - but 10m a week is nothing - at least compared to what it was in beta. So I can see both sides of the argument)

Validating isn't a person., it's when there's a glitch due to cross-platform issues so they can't show the actual CMDR name.
