South Swell is back in the Golden State of California. A big and selective South Swell lit up the Wedge in Newport Beach today May 16, 2023, and provided some waves in the double overhead range.
Pro surfers and standouts in this session included Nolan Rapoza, Tyler Stanaland, Brad Domke, and others!
The largest pulse of long SSW/S swell run hits Wednesday and Thursday. Stay tuned for more episodes this week as we are hopeful for some XL waves.

In the winter in Detroit , when I was young , we use to hang of the back of car when the roads where snowy. We called it shagging.....

Howdy brother yeah I grew up cross the Bay from this place 50 years ago definitely get a pounding out there that's for sure it's pretty crowded around there now yeah we used to get towed up hills buy cars on skateboards . And the people driving sometimes didn't even notice down in Laguna. . We called it crazy . Have a good one
