The fact that you effectively goof on the killer is probably my favorite part about this. Instead of finding some clever or witty way of escaping or brute forcing your way out, you just chuck a head at him and KO him in one go. Just goes to show that serial killers are really not as intimidating as their projected persona would imply - that and the fact that he likely only preyed on the weak or defenseless and Arthur/John are neither.

I don’t know whats more scary about RDR2: 1. The Brutal Gangs and the serial killers 2. The writers, animators, and designers who have to think and create the gangs and individuals 3. Or the accuracy of some of the interals and gore within the game
I wanted to see what would happen if you don't help the sheriff when Lowry attacks him. It turns out the sheriff just shoots him and he doesn't give you a reward for being a bastard.
I accidentally didn’t help him my first run through. I was trying to lasso Lowry so I could watch him hang later and although he flipped off of the sheriff, he shot Lowry anyway
The black water athletic team pit thing always just kinda stuck with me. None of the other murders or Easter eggs really made me have like a shocked reaction. But seeing that pit of bodies in the woods.. It just felt real. The other murders were over the top and insane, but the pit of corpses just felt like some shit that would really happen.

Last names are or at least were shortened a lot, back of the day. I haven't looked up in years, but when I did, I couldn't find much on it, but the fact that they both have a very similar names, are both serial killers, and supposedly in the same universe, etc, idk how it's not addressed more.

I was playing RDRO with my buddies. I tracked a buck to a mysterious Bunker outside Valentine and thought "Oh cool! A new place to explore!" How my joy soon turned to horror.
There’s also a revolver in Red Dead online and GTA online called “lowrys revolver” that you can get It’s a basic navy revolver with blood markings over it

ive never heard anyone mention this before but recently i was riding around and i went through a train tunnel, the small one where the first train robbery takes place in chapter 1 by Wallace station, and there was writing on the wall that says 'I seek and i find'. I believe it is a cheat code but it is also in the same hand writing and white paint as Edmund's cryptic words across the map.

I could've done this with Arthur but didn't find the paper on the one near valentine so when I found it later as John, he wrote in the journal something like 'this is probably related with the two bodies Arthur found years ago' which I find is a nice little detail.
i knew there had to be a story to that celler, never came across it in story mode, but me and a bud found it online, saved it as a location, only for the lowry gun to be found there from gta. such a sick game with all it has hidden around the story for you to find out, love how we are still finding stuff years later
I always find it ironic how they have serial killers in games like these when we you the player have killed dozens if not hundreds of people in sadistic and grotesque ways but there's a guy that killed maybe 6 people and hung their bodies up and has a some skills in a cellar making them way worse then us for some reason. Always gives me a laugh.
You don't kill for joy or entertainment, you do it as a means to an end. This isn't a justification for the killing Arthur & the rest of the gang does, but it is done in an entirely different context. They shoot fellers as need shootin', save fellers as need savin', and feed fellers as need feedin'. We can go on all day about how they don't get to decide who needs what, but the only one who seems to take pleasure in it is Micah and specifically Bill when fucking with Kieran.

The serial killer in GTA IV is named Eddie Low, here in the video this one is named Edmund Lowry Jr. I have a theory that these two are connected somehow, just something to ponder on.
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this, but... Whilst doing the 'Edmund Lowery's serial killer mission in chapter 2, I found a nice little glitch that allows you to enter Blackwater without any Pinkerton's/sniper, or a 'wanted' level. This allows you to get the "Legendary Rock Bass" fish ('Aurora Basin' lake area).. When you have overpowered him, hogtie and put him on your horse, but instead of taking him directly to the sheriff of Valentine you can enter Blackwater - You aren't on a timer to do this, and this little gameplay glitch allows you to freely enter Blackwater. The bad things are, you can't collect herbs/plants (no good for the Herbalist challenge), and you can't get the legendary animals as you get shot to $#!t as soon as you try to enter the New Austin region. It's no big deal, but it's worth doing if you want to easily get one more of the 'legendary fish'.. For the other stuff you would most likely need to use the 'buggy' glitch. Just thought I'd let people know of my little find. Happy hunting all.
It was soo chilling to see these on the overworld. I remember seeing the third one at night, and when I did eagle eye, you can see tracks of a stranger, so my head was like "the guy who did this was here" but idk if thats the case..

This dude knocks you out then doesn't tie you up, doesn't take away your guns and you decide to throw a head at him. I was so distracted by the dumbness of the situation I couldn't listen to what the guy was monologuing.
if you toss some dynamite or a fire bottle into the very back room where he attacks Edmund will appear in the cutscene with damage fitting for whatever you throw back there! doesn't change anything, I just wanted to see if I could find where was hiding or at least see him before triggering the cutscene, you cant see him but you look closely you'll see a semi hidden access point to yet another room that you cannot access. you can also apparently find mention of Charlotte and evidence that Edmund was captivated by her and planned on killing her. just some interesting tid bits you missed/didn't even know about

There's also a creepy guy who camps out on the plains southeast of Emerald Station; he has a bunch of nude paintings in his tent for some reason. If you speak with him as Arthur he'll tell you about the widow and how he's been spying on her and wants her for himself. I always kill the weird bastard, and he re-spawns several times.

Athletic team is found in new Austin but if you kill Ed as Authur he couldn’t have killed them since they would’ve decomposed by the time John gets there
YO!!! Hey @Fizhy & everyone. I think Edmund is one of the skinner boys. Here's why: I was casually exploring the tall trees area near the Bear Claw region where we had one side mission helping Sadie with her bounty hunt in epilogue. Right next to the broken down house, you can find a bunch of Skinner brother gang camping out there. After I killed them all, I saw a knife with a paper pinned to a tree next to the camp & guess what it was the same illustration of the basement and the code that we need in order to open the old basement. I have a screenshot but I don't how to share it to you guys! The place is south of Manzanita Post.
You should do some videos for RDR Undead Nightmare stranger missions or profiles on different zombies, maybe the four horses of the apocalypse, prominent missing souls and maybe profiles on the mythical creatures.
I watched a lotta serial killer documentaries and honestly they killed it with this guy. He acts a lot like how real serial killers act Lowkey wanting to get caught and how evil and sinister he sounds. Also his little dungeon area. Kinda gave me ed gein type of vibes even tho he wasnt making furniture outta people. Him leaving the bodies around for people to find isnt far fetched either

I could've done this with Arthur but didn't find the paper on the one near valentine so when I found it later as John, he wrote in the journal something like 'this is probably related with the two bodies Arthur found years ago' which I find is a nice little detail.
i knew there had to be a story to that celler, never came across it in story mode, but me and a bud found it online, saved it as a location, only for the lowry gun to be found there from gta. such a sick game with all it has hidden around the story for you to find out, love how we are still finding stuff years later

I always find it ironic how they have serial killers in games like these when we you the player have killed dozens if not hundreds of people in sadistic and grotesque ways but there's a guy that killed maybe 6 people and hung their bodies up and has a some skills in a cellar making them way worse then us for some reason. Always gives me a laugh.
You don't kill for joy or entertainment, you do it as a means to an end. This isn't a justification for the killing Arthur & the rest of the gang does, but it is done in an entirely different context.
They shoot fellers as need shootin', save fellers as need savin', and feed fellers as need feedin'. We can go on all day about how they don't get to decide who needs what, but the only one who seems to take pleasure in it is Micah and specifically Bill when fucking with Kieran.

The serial killer in GTA IV is named Eddie Low, here in the video this one is named Edmund Lowry Jr. I have a theory that these two are connected somehow, just something to ponder on.
I don't know if anyone's mentioned this, but...
Whilst doing the 'Edmund Lowery's serial killer mission in chapter 2, I found a nice little glitch that allows you to enter Blackwater without any Pinkerton's/sniper, or a 'wanted' level.
This allows you to get the "Legendary Rock Bass" fish ('Aurora Basin' lake area)..
When you have overpowered him, hogtie and put him on your horse, but instead of taking him directly to the sheriff of Valentine you can enter Blackwater - You aren't on a timer to do this, and this little gameplay glitch allows you to freely enter Blackwater.
The bad things are, you can't collect herbs/plants (no good for the Herbalist challenge), and you can't get the legendary animals as you get shot to $#!t as soon as you try to enter the New Austin region.
It's no big deal, but it's worth doing if you want to easily get one more of the 'legendary fish'..
For the other stuff you would most likely need to use the 'buggy' glitch.
Just thought I'd let people know of my little find.

It was soo chilling to see these on the overworld. I remember seeing the third one at night, and when I did eagle eye, you can see tracks of a stranger, so my head was like "the guy who did this was here" but idk if thats the case..
I just realized something in the valentine curse we hear about people hearing screaming around valentine and Edmund’s hideout were he probably kills people horribly is just outside of valentine

Funny thing, I stumbled about his shack as a "question mark" on the map long after finishing the map to find the killer, and it turned out this was the guy, although I did it with Arthur not as John

This dude knocks you out then doesn't tie you up, doesn't take away your guns and you decide to throw a head at him. I was so distracted by the dumbness of the situation I couldn't listen to what the guy was monologuing.

if you toss some dynamite or a fire bottle into the very back room where he attacks Edmund will appear in the cutscene with damage fitting for whatever you throw back there!
doesn't change anything, I just wanted to see if I could find where was hiding or at least see him before triggering the cutscene, you cant see him but you look closely you'll see a semi hidden access point to yet another room that you cannot access.
you can also apparently find mention of Charlotte and evidence that Edmund was captivated by her and planned on killing her.

There's also a creepy guy who camps out on the plains southeast of Emerald Station; he has a bunch of nude paintings in his tent for some reason. If you speak with him as Arthur he'll tell you about the widow and how he's been spying on her and wants her for himself.
I always kill the weird bastard, and he re-spawns several times.

The rapist in the swamp came back to life too, but he just stayed locked in his cabin so I couldn't kill him again.

Athletic team is found in new Austin but if you kill Ed as Authur he couldn’t have killed them since they would’ve decomposed by the time John gets there

I was casually exploring the tall trees area near the Bear Claw region where we had one side mission helping Sadie with her bounty hunt in epilogue. Right next to the broken down house, you can find a bunch of Skinner brother gang camping out there. After I killed them all, I saw a knife with a paper pinned to a tree next to the camp & guess what it was the same illustration of the basement and the code that we need in order to open the old basement. I have a screenshot but I don't how to share it to you guys! The place is south of Manzanita Post.

You should do some videos for RDR Undead Nightmare stranger missions or profiles on different zombies, maybe the four horses of the apocalypse, prominent missing souls and maybe profiles on the mythical creatures.
