What a lucky bunch of cows. Btw. I’ve learned haw intelligent cows are, They really are. People end up really caring deeply for cattle, when you learn their way, it’s really sweet to work with them.
Hi Taylor . That view of your cows on pasture is a scene an artist could never capture on canvas and it is rare today to see cows on pasture like that. Another informative and inspiring video. Keep ‘em coming. Keep farming, smiling, and keep that positive attitude of yours. You are one of a kind and please take some time to enjoy Memorial Day.🇺🇸
Is that a hair "doey" in the cup holder?! LOL! This is so far removed from what I remember from my days on the farm! God bless you Taylor! You keep doing you!
7:57 Just a suggestion Taylor, If you could get a good wide view of that area there where the cows are and just record several hours worth or maybe even the entire day if possible, that would make a great time lapse shot watching them eat down all that grass. I know its too late for that spot but maybe its something you can do in the future with another spot. Also when cutting fields (or any kind of field work really) time lapses of the entire job are great and people love to watch the field make a transformation in a couple of minutes. Also investing in a small drone with a camera for aerial shots would be a awesome tool. Love the vids Keep 'em coming!
I have a cousin in Pa. that had the milking down to a one person operation. The area of the barn where he milked was circular shaped. He worked from a pit in the middle. He would use a rope to let them in where they would walk around the outside of the circle and they could eat from the individual feeders on the wall. When he was done he would pull a rope that would let them out the other side, and then pull another rope to drop more feed into the feeders and the sequence would start all over again. He put that system in back in the 80s.
Hi Taylor,I enjoy watching your videos because they are so relatable😃I am 20 years old and live in Wisconsin and I work on a 300 cow dairy farm milking the morning shift and I spend the rest of the day helping my dad on his dairy farm and he has 32 cows and young stock,my dad has a pasture for his cows and I think it is the best sight in the world to see them grazing and the cows seem so happy to be on grass! I feel bad for cows on massive farms because they are only ever on cement and never eat a fresh bite of grass
Hi Taylor! I can't wait for every new video from you as they are all amazing and informative. Your videography is superior I must say. You are a true professional in every way!
Michigan got hit with the heat wave too soon too much. Our honeybees are going crazy with enormous nectar flows happening. So far a fantastic spring like your having. Very cute video again with Taylor the star
Hi Taylor thanks for sharing another great video, great to see the 🐄 out in the pasture but was a bit of a anticlimax. The poor Kabota has been in the war's lately, glad you passed the inspection. There's one thing Taylor no-one can say that sit about on your phone 📱 your always busy doing something thanks again take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Good day Taylor. Just another great video and a good day for farming. All the little things that would annoy city fold is taken lightly on a farm. It can be frustrating and rewarding at the same time. Hope that cable is easy to do and doesn't give you too much trouble. Have a great day, have a cup of coffee, have a snack and God Bless.
Thanks again for another wonderful video. Heard some mooing finally realized the neighbors jersey was telling on the other cow that was out of the pasture. We just put a horse lunge line on her and tied her to a post she can mow down some of the grass in the yard. I hope you guys have some warm days to get the grass growing and so you can get a good first crop of hay. Hopefully you will have a record crop this year and stock up more hay. Hope you have some beautiful weather and stay safe and healthy Tay.
Hi sweetie 😊 Another great video. Great seeing the cows out to pasture we turned our cows out the other day,it’s a beautiful sight. It’s that time of year to get the equipment ready to hit the fields. You are definitely a hard working woman. Hope all is well with you. Great maneuvering to get the wrapper out.🤗
You might want to consider marking your hydraulic hoses and the connector they hook up to. Also, on the new cable, you might be able to tape it to the old cable and pull it through.
Hi again Taylor. Another lovely video. Such passion for all things . Really good content and brilliant narration. Brent seems a really hard working guy, great working partner, with the farm very close his heart, as with you too. Take care all, stay safe MARK uk
Taylor your videos have improved so much since you first started! You do such a great job girl! Your work ethic is far superior than most men. Keep up the good work and great vids my friend😊
Hi Taylor, the cows looked happy out on the pasture, we just cut & baled around 4 acres with all the rain last year all the haying Equ just got put away and we couldn’t remember if anything was giving us trouble, happy to say everything seemed fine
Hi Taylor! We are camping in Maine for the first time. Loving it so much. We will be driving through your area tomorrow on our way to New Hampshire. Don't want to be a bother but it would be so awesome to see the farm! If we hear back then great but we won't bug you if you're busy. Cheers from your Canadian friends! 😁✌️🇨🇦🇺🇲
Try a piece of thick plastic or plexiglass to cover the milkhouse sink . This really helps keep the hot water temp high enough especially during cold Maine winters . We had a thick white plastic cover that we notched holes for the inlet and outlet pipes .
The barn was so nice and dry in the evening milking when we let cows to pasture! But with the high protein in the grass, the POOP soooo runny and loose! A tail came up and everyone moved quickly! You cow water tank was about the size of our milk tank.
Hi Taylor. When you let the cows out to pasture do they stay out 24/7 except for milking. Hope your fields are dry for cutting . Enjoy all your videos . Can't wait for Sunday's episode. Say Hi to Brent.
I was getting anxious to see the cows heading toward the pasture! First day in the pasture=sloppy loose cows in the barn!! Angels with dirty faces! Toward the end you had a smudge on your upper lip--I'm sure you know that by now. Great video!!
Taylor, what happens to the bales of grass if you do not wrap them? I see round bales set in shelters, not wrapped and I guess I don't understand. Looked like many of your bales are stored inside and yet they are wrapped. So does the wrap keep the moister out in the weather or keep a certain moister level in?
Get different colored zip ties. Put a different color on each of the tractor remotes. Hook up the implement. When you get it right put a matching color zip tie on the implement hose. This will eliminate all the Fun of guessing how to hook it up every time
My throttle sounds like yours, The cable was almost $300…my foot throttle works. Hand throttle does not. It was so difficult that I returned the cable , Only use hand throttle, ( hand throttle is good for the post hole diggey
Good day from Alaska, will you see a increase in milk production after letting the cows out to pasture? I'm sure I'm not the only one that wishes Brent would at least take this winter and get one of his knees done!
Hello there! Yes the cows usually jump quite a bit in production with all the high protein feed, so it’s good for us and them! Gotta agree with ya there, I wish he would too!😃
I think the ladies were thrilled to be let onto the pasture. They just didn't want to show it! lol All that inspector has to do is sub to your channel to see how well the ladies are treated! Would save her a trip out!!
What a lucky bunch of cows. Btw. I’ve learned haw intelligent cows are, They really are. People end up really caring deeply for cattle, when you learn their way, it’s really sweet to work with them.
The ladies look so happy in that big green field. 70 runners.

Actually it's not rare...you just have to be where there are active dairy farms
If you never leave the city or take drives in the farm country you probably Rarely see cows on pasture. But they are out there.
Is that a hair "doey" in the cup holder?! LOL! This is so far removed from what I remember from my days on the farm! God bless you Taylor! You keep doing you!
Another awesome video Taylor! The hand in front of the camera showing the barn before and after cleaning was super cool!!😃

Hi! Glad you could join us, I just love turning them out onto pasture too. One of my favorite times of the year! Thank you so much 😊
Love seeing the cows outside. Congratulations on the inspection! 👍 🐄
I was laughing at the jersey, laying backward in the freestall. Cows and people , there's always one in every crowd. 😂

The dairy farm I grew up on we had a covered barnyard with bunk , a 48 cow free stall, and 30 cow stanchion barn to milk in.

I love when cows are out on pasture. I can even tell by the taste of the milk when they get turned out
Nothing like watching the cows play; the first day out to green pastures. They seem so happy with getting out and kicking up their heels .
Good morning tay, your skill will grow with each new effort.have a nice day!

Hi Taylor , awesome Video!
It's so cool how the cows know what's going on , just like they can read your mind😂
Hi 😊, thanks! I know right! Guess cows can be pretty perceptive 😄
Try a piece of thick plastic or plexiglass to cover the milkhouse sink . This really helps keep the hot water temp high enough especially during cold Maine winters . We had a thick white plastic cover that we notched holes for the inlet and outlet pipes .
Good Job. My name is Eric. I've been following your channel for about a year now. I'm happy for you.
Hi Eric! Thanks so much for your support 😀
Gotta love getting them out on that fresh grass!
Sounds like you need a spring or a bungee cord to keep your 3 point hitch lift arms from slapping around when driving over off road terrain.
Taylor. love. How you explain everything in detail? Great video.
I’m so glad to hear it! Thank you SO much for joining us!
Hello Taylor love your videos ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ 😍

You let the cows out 😊 awesome video glad everything went good . MC Jazzy Brent 😅
Love the variety of breeds,nostalgia.
Count you blessings. We're supposed to hit 100⁰ this weekend. Our spring lasted about two weeks after very little winter.
The barn was so nice and dry in the evening milking when we let cows to pasture!
But with the high protein in the grass, the POOP soooo runny and loose! A tail came up and everyone moved quickly!
You cow water tank was about the size of our milk tank.
Pretty picture with the cows on the green pasture!
Nothing like green grass and cows😃
Another great vid!
Hi Taylor. When you let the cows out to pasture do they stay out 24/7 except for milking. Hope your fields are dry for cutting . Enjoy all your videos . Can't wait for Sunday's episode. Say Hi to Brent.
Camera work is excellent.
Thank you!
Great vid Taylor.
Taylor, what is the advantage of the disc mower over a sickle mower, speed?
I was getting anxious to see the cows heading toward the pasture! First day in the pasture=sloppy loose cows in the barn!! Angels with dirty faces! Toward the end you had a smudge on your upper lip--I'm sure you know that by now. Great video!!
I find it hard to belive they had wrappers that long.
Enjoy all your videos
Great video hope the hay making goes smoothly for you guys!
Thank you! 😀
I try to remember to oil my jacks from time to time.
Good work tay
😊

Looked like many of your bales are stored inside and yet they are wrapped. So does the wrap keep the moister out in the weather or keep a certain moister level in?
I’ve always wondered how someone decides to start a utube channel and be comfortable in front of the camera? You do a great job
A farmer’s work is never done
They will have every dandelions gone in a day
🤣
Get different colored zip ties.

I agree, that was actually a pretty dull first day on pasture. I expected at least a few cows to jump and run.
Hi Taylor, just a question, do you guys strip graze or just let them in the paddock?
Great video
Good day from Alaska, will you see a increase in milk production after letting the cows out to pasture?
I'm sure I'm not the only one that wishes Brent would at least take this winter and get one of his knees done!
Hello there! Yes the cows usually jump quite a bit in production with all the high protein feed, so it’s good for us and them!

Brilliant video and beautiful lady as always...
I think the ladies were thrilled to be let onto the pasture. They just didn't want to show it! lol All that inspector has to do is sub to your channel to see how well the ladies are treated! Would save her a trip out!!
😂 they were just keeping it on the down low! ☺️ That is very kind of you to say😊 Hope you are having some good weather where you are!
Thanks
Ur grass heading out? We should be cutting but ground is wet
Nice video Taylor
I’m used to beef cattle, milk cows are boney.
Just curious did Brent buy all the tractors and hay Equipment used?
