Man, you are a gamer. Cleaning out the gutter by shovel and laying the gutter chain and paddles, all the while doing it with a smile, even when you ran out of chain links at the end. You are one of a kind, in a good way. Brent is extremely fortunate to have you. Take care.
That is fantastic that the barn cleaner is running again, what a huge day you two had, it is amazing how much you two working together can get done in a day!!!!!!! Congratulations on a job well doe!!!!!
Fantastic video Taylor! It’s really nice to see the barn cleaner going again. Thank you for taking us along during this process. You guys did it!! 👍🏻👍🏻
WOW, what a job takng all the chain out, clearng all the "CRAP", shoveling whats left(all without gloves or PPE-LOL), and now a new life for the chain. Thanks Tay, Brent for all your hard work, organization, and video
TIM from Canada, you should invest in some sort of a dump trailer that is big enough to haul your manure in this way you can park it out front and dump your manure in it. and then you can take it out back dumping in your pit….. when you’re out back cleaning off your patio you can park the dump waggon inside and then it is not so many trips… i’m sure there is something in your area you can get that would help you out
Just heroic, your backs must be really aching, fantastic job ,incidentally, I drove Ford (New Holland) tractors for over 30 years and found them very reliable and quite comfortable, just noticing your interest.
Hi Taylor, boy you could really hear that chain breaking in, really nice to see the barn cleaner working again, oh by the way you look really good in that blue tractor
We cleaned our gutters by hand with wheelbarrow shovel an fork when it had to be done when I was a kid on our farm farm growing up so have fun with the new chain lots of work but be glad when it's working again
Oh my goodness, my favorite episode yet! Y’all work so hard for the cows. The boards Brent used go clean the gutters was amazing. The mother of invention is necessity. 👍👏🐄
Tay , working very hard with the shovel , a very nice dinner should be available , both have made it happen , well done , amazing what follow thru had to be accomplished , stay safe .
I am so relieved that your done with that after all this time. I know about gutter cleaners and all of the problems. My dad had absolutely no tolerance or patience for it not working perfectly. He was frugal but not about the gutter cleaner. No expense was spared to get the barn cleaned. He had no patience with messing around for that long. I am so happy you can use your time now to do other things.
Can relate to what seems like endless days of shoveling lol. But wondered why not just shovel onto skid steer bucket rather then into alley when it just there empty? Great job and appreciate the hard work. Bob on Pennsylvania
Hey Taylor Nice to see you have the Chain done! I bet it was a hard Day at work. Hope it lasts a long Time! You can have Fun looking at blue 🚜 but i would look for a better green one😉 Nice vid again
First time I found your channel, (I Love it). It took me back to when I was young and was raised on a Milking Shorthorn dairy .(About 40 cows) We had a tie stall barn looked a lot like yours. So glad to see some still in use. Have been farming about all my life, now 73 . Beef herd for last 60 years along with hay and grain. Thanks for your videos I will enjoy them.
First off, welcome!! Sounds like a wonderful place to grow up 😃 Farming is a unique way of life, difficult but very rewarding. I wanna thank you for your dedication to the work and for feeding America 🇺🇸 Thanks so much for watching!
Hi sweetie, so happy for ya that the barn cleaner is back in and working great. it was hard but you got it done you are one hard-working woman not for sure. 🤗
Im 72 and remember having to shovel manure from gutter to a wheel barrow then out the door up a board ramp and dumping it into a pile in the winter twice a day while the cows were still in their stantions . Couldnt wait til spring when the girls (68 ) of them could go out for the day . Then oh maybe in the early 70's we reconstructed the system and had a gutter cleaner installed that dumpped into the spreader . Had to be carefull not to let it get frozen up though. BUT there was always the calf part of the barn and bull pen to clean manually
Hi Taylor thanks for sharing another awesome video. That board to clean out the gutter genus, well done Brent. Taylor your like a mini skidsteer the way you throw that shovel about 😂. That New Holland looks very nice just the addition you need. Pat yourselves on the back the end product looks amazing thanks again for sharing with us take care and stay safe 👍 😊.
Definitely a long day...not for anyone afraid to get dirty. Hope the system is more reliable now. The life of a farmer is always filled with challenges.
Next time you get some vacation time you should go visit that Bilow farm that you went by when you wentbto get your new to you gutter chain . They would be happy to show you the whole operation
Great job. Lots of hard work. I chuckled to myself while you were shoveling the gutter. Reminded me of the way my cousins and I used to do our barn. All by hand. Hard work, especially in the winter when we had to do it every day. Sure brought back memories. Have a great day and God Bless.
Great work Taylor. You really put in a days work there. Several things you did made laugh. Getting into the tractors with your less than clean pants on! 😆 The "turd's eye" view of your chain installation. 😂 You really get into your work cleaning the corner gears. Hoped you wash your hands!!🤣 Glad you got the chain in! Life will be easier with it.
Boss man sure is good with the skiddie. Glad you guys got your gutter chain in and working. Won’t be long before your spreading and we get some tractor action. Great video. Have a good week.
Hi Taylor. Enjoyed the video . Barn looked clean after all your hard work. You always are so happy when you look at new tractors. What size and what hp would you run if you found a good used one.
Thanks! Yes nothing makes me more excited than looking at tractors (except driving them of course 😅) we were looking for something in the 85 to 100 hp range
Great job. I always feel bad sitting here watching you guys work so hard especially Brent dealing with his knees, I know the struggle. If I was closer I’d be more than happy to come help on the big projects, more hands!!
What a beautiful pile of cow manure! Boy the gutters really hold a lot. You can't really tell how much is in thereuntil you see it come out in bulk like that. That board really worked great. "Farmer ingenuity" 100%!
I spent my 21st birthday pulling the completely worn out gutter cleaner chain off the return side of the chute and putting it in a pile after fighting it for months. Spent 9 months cleaning barn with shovel and wheelbarrow before getting a new chain. It's surprising how quickly the new chain goes together
Taylor you are amazing . And Brent too. I love the camera work also.. Sitting having coffee .. you are excellent at showing us what's going on.. I am in awe of you....both.
Great video. I worked on a 80 cow dairy farm in mi. In the early 70s. When I graduated high school I went to work for my grampa and we installed a lot of patz gutter cleaners. Your videos bring back a lot of memories. Keep up the good work
new 4 tooth sprocket is suppose to catch on links like that chain wont fall off anymore. after all this fighting with round baler net wrap will feel like a vacation

Never seen a manure removal system like that, fancy smancy. So refreshing to see someone who is not afraid of a little manual labor, you rock...🙂
Taylor you are hands on and hands IN!!
That is fantastic that the barn cleaner is running again, what a huge day you two had, it is amazing how much you two working together can get done in a day!!!!!!! Congratulations on a job well doe!!!!!

No gloves again?! I'm glad to see the chain working. Keep up the great work Miss Taylor.

What a job! Looking at the clearance at that reverse return corner, I’m glad we didn’t cut the flights any longer.
It sure was! Yeah any longer than that and we would have had some real problems 😅
how does the manure get to your pad/pit @@tayfarms
One hard working lady!
I can remember the days off shoveling gutters, before we got the new Patz gutter cleaner. Many years ago.
Taylor's trip to the farm store reminds me of taking my granddaughters to the candy. X O X
I love a Gal who can't resist a trip to the farm store.
Certainly are times of good old-fashioned toil! Admire your and Brent's fortitude!
Absolutely, Brent said when we were shoveling that in one day when the cleaner first broke, we went back 70 years just like that 😅
I guess the silver lining is that this happened before you got busy with the spring/summer work. Well done!
Just heroic, your backs must be really aching, fantastic job ,incidentally, I drove Ford (New Holland) tractors for over 30 years and found them very reliable and quite comfortable, just noticing your interest.
Nice job Taylor and Brent! It's great to see good people prevail! 👍 👌✌️🇺🇸😁
My first job as a 12 year old kid was working for a dairy farmer in southeastern Michigan. The barn looked exactly the same. What a flashback!!!
That’s so cool, farming that young teaches a strong work ethic! Thanks so much for sharing 😃
Good morning, Tay. It is nice to see the new gutter system working so nicely and that puts a smile on your face. Blessings to you and Brad.
Goodmorning Taylor and Brent.Great job you two are true farmers. I live in belgrade maine about 20 minutes from framers
Hi Taylor, boy you could really hear that chain breaking in, really nice to see the barn cleaner working again, oh by the way you look really good in that blue tractor

It's a crappy job Taylor but you look good doing it. Enjoy your videos. You guys are my kind of people.
Can relate to what seems like endless days of shoveling lol. But wondered why not just shovel onto skid steer bucket rather then into alley when it just there empty? Great job and appreciate the hard work. Bob on Pennsylvania
You and Brent are true farmers: super crunched for time, see a tractor, Brent: "Wanna go look at it?" Taylor: "Do I have a pulse?"
Priorities!

I'v been waiting for this!! Good Job!! You need an chain oil system! Doesn't take much to make one!
Thank you! Yes we were just discussing that this morning actually. Hopefully we get something in soon!
Unbelievable how sent Brent is with the Gehl.... it seems to me as if he's neurological connected to the vehicle... stunning! 🙂
Definitely a long day...not for anyone afraid to get dirty. Hope the system is more reliable now. The life of a farmer is always filled with challenges.
Tht method to clean the gutters out sure beats shoveling by hand. Tay, you really get your hands into your work!
Next time you get some vacation time you should go visit that Bilow farm that you went by when you wentbto get your new to you gutter chain . They would be happy to show you the whole operation
Great job installing the barn cleaning chain Taylor and Brent

Ditto! Hopefully it will be soon!!🤞🏻
The word genius, well deserved boss , many hours taken to make it happen, team work is what is all about .

Well, water is an understatement, really enjoy your channel Taylor.
Show us the outside where the manure drops out, and how do you move it around in the concrete holding area. Thanks Tay

Now you can take a deep breath...lol. Congrats with the new to you barn cleaner. Thank you for the video. Bob
You two have so much of my respect. ❤
The shovel with a longer wood handle and plastic scoop is the best. I use it for scooping grain.
Hey Taylor hope your having a great day......good morning hope everything goes well with your barn cleaner chain 🤘🏻

Taylor you are amazing . And Brent too. I love the camera work also.. Sitting having coffee .. you are excellent at showing us what's going on.. I am in awe of you....both.
I remember those days of the broken barn cleaner; boy I don't miss it.
That’s a job I really don’t miss at all…the free stalls were much easier but I do like the tie stalls to show off the cows
Great job! most people will never get to experience the joy of cleaning the barn by hand.
Wow, what a great young woman. Super good person.
I agree with the comments. my kind of gal when looking at tractors you said " do I have a pulse." LOL Great video again.

Keep it real, keep farming... you are awesome .
Good morning Taylor 💯 awesome video 📸
Thank you!!
Nice, I hope you have many years of trouble-free use out of your new to you barn cleaner.
I hope so too, thank you!
Hi Taylor. We had the automatic manure system at the farm. Was both a blessing and a curse. I ran a 1086 on the farm
brents a beast on that gehl!!
Golly , what would Brent do without you !!
She picked up those links! Cleaned gutter with SCOOP shovel. Some
real strength there.
