Extr@ was an educational TV series that ran from 2002 to 2004. There were four versions: English, French, German and Spanish. The latter was co-produced by RAI CPTO (Production Centre of Turin) for Rai Educational.
The English version has 30 episodes, and the other three languages have 13 episodes each.
Hector/Sam, with only a very basic grasp of the featured language, comes to stay with his penpal, Bridget/Sacha/Sascha/Lola. Hector's/Sam's efforts to get to grips with the language provide the central dynamic for the series' language learning content. The series is particularly suitable for adolescents and young adults who can relate to the contextual setting and implied meanings in the screenplay.
Cast (Spanish): Lawrence Ray - Sam Scott, Celia Meiras - Ana, Vanessa Otero - Lola, Javier Marzan - Pablo.
Para mí, es la mejor serie para aprender espanol. Veia esta serie cuando empecé a aprender espanol hace 2 anos y todavía a veces la veo y sigo aprendiendo algo nuevo. Y en mi modo de ver, la mejor version de esta serie es la espanola. Los actores se han hecho mis amigos en mis ojos. Saludos a ellos y toda la gente que aprenden espanol con pasion!

Именно с этого сезона как-то всё меняется. И особенно удивляет короткая
стрижка Анны. Кто вообще придумал этот образ "пацанки"? Радует, что в
третьем сезоне у неё снова длинные волосы. Кстати, я думаю, что короткие
волосы у неё из-за того, что в тот же период она снималась и в другом
проекте. Но тогда можно было б и парик уже носить, хотя если шоу
низкобюджетное, то на парики денег уже не было. В общем, как-то много
вопросов, но, в любом случае, шоу очень хорошее и, кажется, единственное
в своём роде для изучения испанского языка, т.к. на трекерах есть
русские субтитры.

Great series but it was a huge mistake to cut Ana's hair. She doesn't even look good now. Hard to believe Sam would go for her.
