I so envy your tall block wall around your property! I dream of a stone wall around our 5 acres, alas, that dream is pretty wispy! It would make containment of animals and sectioning things off so much easier, lol.

Wow...I just pulled out all my garden. I'll plant some garlic and then work in some compost (Goat poo, of course) and bed 'er down for the winter. Time to get our snow shovels ready here!

Beautiful winter garden. What about peas? Also, I think runner beans might grow in winter too as they like cool weather and have beautiful flowers.

I absolutely love your channel!! Im from South Western Ontario Canada so things are soo different but its so cool to see how other urban farmers manage gardens and animals. Have you considered having a bee hive or quail? My gardens arent fully fenced or covered but Id love to have quail free range our gardens.

lol, Arizona gardening vs Canada gardening. You post a video about planting your fall garden while I do one on my first frost, lol. Great to see your garden though. It will keep me seeing green while everything here starts to go brown :)

I am curious about placement of your garden beds...I looks like most of your beds are in "dappled" shade. What is your strategy for placement in a Phoenix location?

Danelle, in one of your videos you mentioned that soil should always be covered up. I am doing research on that but cannot find much especially for arizona. My raised bed is ready to go, however, I will have to wait until mid September to start planting, should I cover the soil up with a tarp? Or should I cover it with Mulch? Any advise is greatly appreciated :)
