South Dakota does a 4 day a week school week, at least on the south eastern side. It has SO many benefits, however, it truly causes SO many more problems for parents. It is an issue that is NOT discussed enough!!
36:45!!! Oh my gosh, girl yes, I feel like I am in such a peaceful mom era.. I am unproblematic, anyone's problem with me.. it's their problem and I am just trying to bake cakes, learn new recipes and pour into myself! Even though I am a mom and I am constantly pouring more of me into my children, I deserve to have time for myself too!
About the 4 day school week.. they have this in Chattooga County, Georgia schools and several schools around us. While it’s been successful for the schools, I’m still trying to understand how that helps the parents.

I have it rare where i work from home and can watch my kids. There needs to be more work from home options as well. There needs to be more daycares in the workplace. There are companies that can add a daycare for their employees, but its just all about money here. In china the kids start learning to cook and plant in kindergarten.

42:39, yes I agree, I want my daughter to be able to live in a society where she can be free to do what she pleases, whether it be being a homemaker or a career driven woman.. but I don't think a man should feel entitled to dictate what she should or shouldn't do.

I personally disagree with the whole "just do it" mentality and electively choosing a co-parent, it really takes a lot of structure and stability away from children and they really need that to thrive and be grounded. I'm sure cutting out toxic partners and toxic ex partners is great in hindsight but there is a downside to everything and starting a family with no structure is very sad in my opinion.
As for the justin and hailey having a baby, I am very happy for them, I think it will bring them a new perspective to so many thing in life and not just the pretty side but also becoming more mature and they have a lot of wisdom and love to pour into their child.
I always say that people that are wealthy have so much access to resources that the normal person doesn't have, they have the bougie-est gifts from family & friends, they have access to nannies, physical therapists, childhood educators, night time nurse nannies, luxury montessori schools, luxury doctors (rich people can literally call doctors to their house... and have a "on call family doctor") and it's just so different than the normal parenting life.
It goes back to the dilemma that so many parents just aren't supported the way they should be and it's not necessarily the wealthiest people's fault, it's just that is the world we live in and it's a bit sad. I agree with Vee that we should be surrounded by a community and have our own village but it's very rare to find people that are willing to love your children the way that you would as their mom.
If the kids are already asking is because they can understand what's going on, therefore I think the mom should explain, not in details tho. And it sucks that that man is such a coward that he didn't explain to the kids himself what he did and now that responsibility is on the mothers shoulder. He should be the one to say "daddy did something wrong and now I have to deal with the consequences" something along these lines.
