- With the winter weather coming in, we're looking for a window of opportunity to get the elastomeric waterproof seal painted on the superadobe dome home. Once this is complete we can turn our attention to the interior. What color will Adali choose?

I love the color and I love that as a family for all the right reasons Adali is going to have her own tiny home. In the last video you mentioned her goal with the goats and I think her choices are worth celebrating her dreams. You are very good parents and she has great siblings.

I like it. I really liked the white color. We laughed with the shape of it but now it has a different look. I'm not being ugly on this. It's now a certain shape that looks familiar. 💩 I couldn't get the poop emoji out of my head after this 😂

The dog's name is Cloud. Ashley mentioned it when he got the paint on himself.

You all are an inspiration! We will be using a lot of your teachings and methods to build off grid structures in a forest in central Florida. I want them to be fire, flood and hurricane proof, so they will be over engineered for everything to include air purification during forest fires, flood mitigation, rain collection, purification, etc. Thank you again. You show me that it's just a matter of doing it 😂

That color is called burnt sienna here in Australia and is used by a lot of aboriginal artists including myself...😊

Oh we love it, but my first joking, thought was, since the whole property looks like a fantasy land, maybe a Brontsaurous walked by and relieved himself😂 a male take, my wife Judy thinks it will be interesting how this membranous covering will work for the insulation and humidity, love Mitch and Judy.

The white gave it a Mediterranean look, with there blue roofs. But that color looks good as well. With potted plants on those steps and a mini landscape around it, some pompous grass, and lavender, purple grass bushes, and boxwoods, and some wildflowers. Have a good week and God bless amen.
You might want too add one more section too the fireplace chimney for better drafting. 👋🙂

Love your color choice Adali , Can I suggest? next time you use bottles in your build, after taping the bottles together use a plastic bag/sock , which will remain on during all the build and painting process , it will cut out so much cleaning
💙🇺🇲 I would think that by using the white undercoat it would make it so much easier on the eyes when making sure you've covered all of the exposed white areas with the tinted coat. 😊 💕

I'm so glad that Adali wants to live in the superadobe dome! It's so cute! I'm sure it'll feel homey for her. Nice prep work before the elastomeric paint. That little chimney looks so cute. All of your projects look so nice and are very functional. Cool, spray painting it on! Nice hawk shot! Maybe Cloud will just be a little whiter in places. It kind of looks like an igloo. Love the build but I can't unsee the emoji
Pro tip for when spraying strange textured stuccos, you can spray super heavy and in different direction but also get someone to back roll behind you with a heavy wool roller no less then 3/4 just make sure the roller stays wet. So you can push paint into the crevices works with old and new wood too🤙🏼 I know this is a small one but maybe helpful for the house 😊

Pyrenees Sheppards need groomed down in warmer weather. Cloud may feel better in the dry heat of the high desert.
When spraying in the future, get a tube extension and angled head for your sprayer, this is much easer to reach high spots, most times you don't need a ladder. I bought a 30" tube and angle head off Fleabay for cheap.
The white sealant makes the dome look like an igloo! LOL! I think it will look awesome once the paint is on!

I actually like the bright white, but maybe not for the high desert🤔 That's a great color choice that goes with the surroundings, and the bottle windows are beautiful. I imagine all paint fades pretty quickly in that environment. It will still look good when it does. Your daughter must be thrilled about having her own space... Can't wait to see what you do with the inside! I'm hoping for a bohemian vibe, but im sure whatever you choose will be lovely.

It is so cute. One of a kind, I guess.
We put elastomeric on our cedar house before we stained it and that was quite a few years ago - it has stood up perfectly - so I m so happy that you re using it. It will be interesting to see how extreme heat affects it. We know that really cold weather doesn t break it down. Im sure that you know why it was developed...when your temperature fluctuates a lot, the heat and cold stretch and shrink the paint. This allows it to not break from the movement of brittle paint. It stays nice and flexiblle. Pretty cool. The thicker you can paint it, the better it works. What an interesting project!

Have you thought about putting the "no stick" when you put the bottles in place to begin with?
I live out on the outskirts of the Everglades down here in SW Florida, so I have similar weather, only humid. I have a double wide mobile home and started using elastomeric on the roof 12 years ago. I love the stuff! Every year I'd put down a coat in February when the weather is perfect and after 8 years switched to every other year, now. Great stuff!!! - You can color your elastomeric any color you want by buying tubes of paint tint and mixing to your desired color. WAY cheaper.
