Just picking the guitar up again after a bit of time of and I'm loving the new layout! One thing I don't get though... What's happening when you hit the chord button and the green overlay comes on?
Oh they are in there, on the electric guitars at least I think in the synth too. I usually just simplify the chords in the graphics to make it easier to comprehend.

Those are the chords moving over the scale. If you want to actually play over the changes try to incorporate those notes into your solo in real time.
