    I am an old Taoist monk, I learned a version of tummo from my teacher in 1982 for sitting in cold water. Hold all your core / back / lateral muscles taught throughout, inhale for 6, pause, exhale for 6 while humming ohm like sound (mouth shut), pause, repeat. This isometric exercise will help maintain core temperature. The nitrous oxide from humming will help keep your blood vessels open. Much love, Bo Den

    Thank you so much! Your videos have literally been life-changing. I have Parkinson’s disease. I believe my former Parkinson’s is being stuck in fight/ flight. Through your different videos and breath work, I’ve been able to lower my medication to my starting dose five years ago. Thank you so much! I have a goal to get off medication, your videos are going to help me reach that goal! I have a Call plunge and I’m going to try your technique as well. Thank you, thank you thank you!

    I've been doing breathwork for some time now and it is truly amazing what a difference in life quality it presents. I expose myself to a cold shower everyday but I want to take it a step further and was thinking about ice baths. It is probably wise to start with a simple cold bath and get used to that before I start adding ice to the water. I plan on taking it slowly. Thank you so much for these video's, you are really inspiring.

      Thank you. Yes, it's always good to take it slow. Be sure to not do Wim-Hof-type breathing in or near the water. Calm breathing like coherence breathing is ok.

    I am just wondering... what do you do AFTER the ice bath? Do you do anything to warm up the body again? Or do you just towel yourself, put on your ordinary clothes and continue with your daily routine? Thanks a lot for explaining.

    Hi! I have one question. I started doing Wim's Hof method around 7 days ago. I struggled to hold my breath for 1 minute but now i can do it for 2. Isn't it too fast progress? Can it be dangerous? Also my mom is worried and she's asking if there are any side effects of this progress.

      @KitaroWaga  3 месяца назад +2

      Just be sure to never do it in or near water, while standing or driving. Your progress in breath-holds has nothing to do with skills. This is why I always say that the breath hold time is not something to worry about. It can be two minutes or more but it can also be less - nothing to worry about. The reason why you progressed to 2 minutes is because you where able the drop your CO2 significantly - which is most likely because you got used to the protocol. I had people who surpassed 2 minutes on their first try who could never hold their breath for much longer than 40 seconds before. I have many videos talking about this topic if you want to know the details.
