From the majority of the pictures that were shown throughout this, two constants stood out to me. Lauren and Alisha have stayed with Remi for the longest time. You know they are true friends when they befriend you when you are "the fat one" and stick with you when you turn your life around. Those are real friends. They love you for who YOU are and not for what you may do for THEM through your appearance. I know Remi will probably never see this, but this was just on my heart as I watched the video. Props to you, Remi, for all that you have done and are doing. Don't forget what such great friends you have. They are one of the best things that have happened to you. ♥️♥️

Everyone is beautiful, whether thick or thin, skinny or curvy, tan or pale, no matter what you look like, how much you weigh, what your hair and eye color, don’t change for anybody. If there is a change to be made in your life, it should be made because you want it to, not because someone else can’t find the beauty in you. I feel it’s best when someone makes fun of you, not to listen, and if you need to, reassure your self by realizing they are only pointing out your flaws because they are insecure of their own.

I related when Remi was talking in the beginning of the video, trying to lose weight and then gaining it back is so hard & especially when it’s constant, it’s still something I struggle with even when I’m still young. I love both of them sm, the series is so informational and Remi gives me so much hope about myself, her positivity seriously rubs off on other people. 💗💘💓

remi has always had a positive effect on my life I started watching her when I was 11 I'm 14 now and have struggled with comparing myself to others. I've never been over weight and still feel fat constantly. Remi's journey has helped me with my problems and excepting myself for who I am and for that I truly thank her.

Elyse Huss Can't we have two queens 😧 Shane and Niki recent videos are similar because they're both in the documentary genre BUT the approach and style of their videos is completely different. Shane dives into the persons life while asking on questions how did they became the way they are. The video style has more of a reality TV style too it. Niki goes for the classic raw person to person and just straight to the point personal questions. (Niki and Shane needs to collab)

You released this at the perfect time for me. I’m on a weight loss journey rn and I really needed to hear Remi say all of this so I could remember who I am rn and who I’ll always be. And to stay humble and confident no matter what you look like bc 99% of people have these kinda insecure thoughts on the daily and we’re all just tryna figure our stuff out. Being overweight is really such a mental thing to overcome. And I need to remember it’s not a race. It’s my life. Thank you both.
I just want to say thank you so much for this video and this series in general!! You guys are right there are so many people who haven't lost a huge chunk of weight and I find it so hard sometimes because I feel like there's no one to talk to about it that truly understands. It's such a life changing process that it makes me go crazy sometimes. Whenever there's a relatable video though it calms me down and almost grounds me back. It reminds me of who I was/am/want to be! girrrrrrrrrrrlllll!!! you have no idea how much you've inspired me in the last week. you are amazing and no one should make you feel bad about yourself no matter who's telling you that and no matter how you look or how much weight you've lost, etc. it's for YOU! body positivity is about loving yourself no matter what but it's also about recognizing when your body isn't feeling well and fixing those problems. fuck whoever is telling you that you need to look or feel a certain way. you are helping me, a person who is in a very similar situation that you were in 10 months ago. seriously keep being yourself! you've helped me so much.
As an overweight girl since childhood, I understand completely. I always have the insecurities about my looks, and think "boys are gonna think twice before they make fun of me again" but I always get the feeling in the back of my head that would anything truly change? Would I spiral? Would I screw up one day and all the weight come back? I always remember this dream I had as a kid, for some reason I had a magic wand, I pointed it at my stomach and basically said that I wanted to be skinny. Well, as the fat was melting away, my stomach starting hurting really bad in my dream. I always associate being "skinny" as a pain in my stomach. I know all of this was rambles, but I just wanted to clarify, I understand the thoughts around yourself not being the ideal visual.

I have never related to something more. 2 years ago I lost about 60 lbs and I experienced the same thing and I still struggle with it now. I thought that me becoming healthy and losing the weight would make me happy and content. And before losing weight I was soooo content with myself and confident and who I was.

I always love your bubbliness and positive personality, but also heart to heart talks like these. Insecurities is scary thing because it’s so hard to see in others. It’s hard to explain things that just work for us or changes we can’t understand, so this video is so relatable. There’s never one solution to everyones problems and sometimes that’s what makes comparisons so frustrating, when what works for one person doesn’t work for you. I’m happy for you that you can be more open now and that you have a community that loves and accepts you as you are! 💕 i hope you continue to be confident and proud of yourself!

Remi, I think you’re an amazing women and coming from someone who was always bullied and still am about my weight, you’re even more of a role model now. I always wanted to lose weight to “prove the haters wrong” or “have a bad ass glow up” and watching you and your journey I realize that I should only lose weight for me and realize that it probably won’t be as dramatic as I think. I need to just let go of the comments and the hate that I constantly reply in my head and focus on positivity and what’s best for me! You’re the reason I want to be a better, happier, more loving and all around good person and I don’t even know how I can thank you for how you changed my life.

You and Remi, are definitely a TRUE inspiration. Being about the same age, I too have had issues with these similar things. One thing I have to acknowledge you both for, is being able to come out. Not that any of us are owed this deep personal information, that may not be entirely easy for you to share and open up, but I do thank you for being able to do that. But as for this series, Niki! You have a definite passion for how you have been able to open up and be honest about this sort of stuff talking about health.
