    Both types are great - the decision usually comes down to local availability and how important low shedding is to your family

    My F1 doesn't shed at all. I wanted a golden retriever forever so the F1 was the easy choice for me. I don't like the constant grooming and matting issues of the f1b . Plus the f1 is generally gonna live longer .

    At 3:51 looks exactly like my dog. We’re also picking up a F1BB goldendoodle. I believe it’s a mixed between a F1B and a Poodle.

    Hi! Thanks so much for your video. What generation of golden doodle would you recommend for a family with young kids?

    Hello, If you breed a F1B with a 100% poodle, what is it called? (It's designation)

    Can you respond to the negative comments surrounding "Backyard breeding" and goldendoodles? Id like to know your take

    We lost our F1 B's in the last two to three years. They were the best dogs at 55 lbs and cream-colored. Do you have any suggestions where to look for replacements? My boys 5 and 7 years old are wanting puppies. Thanks for any insight and thanks for this educational video! Philip

    I am about to purchase a F1 black golden doodle and wanted to know how big in size will he get?

      Average the size of the two parents for a reallly rough guess. Ask their weight and height

    I am getting a puppy from a Miniature Golden Retriever and a Miniature Poodle.... They told me the Miniature golden retriever is 25% poodle.... What would I be getting with this puppy? F1? F1Backcrossed with golden Retriever? Thanks Oddle Life!

      Technically a f1b or f1bb but an unusual situation! I’d just call it f1b and roll with it.
      Good luck with your new puppy

    My puppy’s parent is known to be a standard labradoodle and and goldendoodle. Both parents have short curly hair but my puppy turned out to be a long and wavy hair and doesn’t shed, so my question is what exactly is his breed? F1 or F1b?

    • @OodleLife
      @OodleLife  2 года назад +1

      If both parents at F1 (Labradoodle and Goldendoodle) then your dog is a F1 Double Doodle.

    how about a F1bb compare to F1b and F1?

    • @OodleLife
      @OodleLife  Год назад

      Very similar between f1b and f1bb. Very very very likely to get a curly or wavy (non shedding coat) with a F1bb.

    F1B golden doodles are normally smaller, correct?

    • @foxtailadventures
      @foxtailadventures 6 месяцев назад

      Not necessarily, it just means they have more poodle in them. Size depends on what size poodle the female was breed to. They can be very large dogs or quite small.
