After Jacqueline had surgery, we needed a cone or collar to stop her from licking her wound but those old time plastic cones are so demeaning and inhibit your pets view as well as their ability to eat and drink. Plus they can’t be comfortable to sleep in. So off to my local Pet Valu I went where I discovered the Zen Pet inflatable recovery collar.
I really liked the fact that it is small enough to give Jacqueline full mobility. She can eat, drink, walk and see with no problems. And it seems very comfortable to sleep in.
A bonus is that it’s made if a very durable and machine washable fabric so it will be handed down Milo when we get him neutered in the fall.
The only issue I had with the collar was that it was a little difficult to inflate. I’ve inflated my share of air mattresses and water wings over the years and even with pinching the valve stem, it still took a but of time to get it fully inflated.
Would I recommend this collar? Absolutely. And what does Jacqueline think? She gives this product five paws up. 🐾🐾🐾🐾🐾
