Stars is working fine. Some campaigns require you to buy games, not play them. It’s annoying, but it’s not a bug. Same thing with the Spider-Man 2 campaign that says to earn a trophy. I already had that trophy so it doesn’t pop.

Been a console player since NES. I got a really good deal on a gaming PC from a good friend. I am enjoying games on PC with controller more. Being able to use any headset or controller is worth it, along with all the traditional advantages. So many more graphics settings too.
It was always like that with some campaigns on PS Star. On some challenges they give you extra coins only when you buy the game. Doesn’t count if you already own it
I have a orbi WiFi 6 mesh network and have my PS5 connected to one of the nodes through Ethernet cable. If you have mesh network, this can be a temporary fix for bad WiFi chip. Also I am get faster speeds connecting to internet this way. I hope this can help you.
The one feature they need to add to the app is the ability to type into the PlayStation from your phone! Logging into apps and games using your controller and the keyboard on the PlayStation is incredibly annoying.
I just bought my first ps5 slim with disk player. I have sooo many ps4 games and I'm so excited to be able to play all the games I love. There was nothing wrong with my ps4 pro, I kept it clean, even made a cover for it. I got 300 for it, it was a 1tb.
On PlayStation 5 you scroll over to Call of Duty don't launch the game right away over on the side it says add-ons and that's where I found it for free the one that you're talking about. Instead of going through the PlayStation app
Finding the trophies wasnt cumbersome at all. They were literally right there. Now that qr code may come in handy for the online multiplayer games from ps4 do not have a send invite button on ps5. Like Remnant from the ashes 1
I honestly wish they'd stop being so stubborn and prideful and take a page out of Xbox's book and give up an actual game pass for ps2 and ps3 games and slowly add ps4 and ps5 games instead of the PsPlus tiers that really aren't worth the price and the streaming ps3 games is so awful I'd rather just download them. Go on the app and select the game then select play on console and select your primary, it should work, I didn’t get points for my ps plus when I downloaded it. Let me know if it works or not
PS stars should just sync with your library. If you own the games before the campaign is released, give us half the points, and if you don’t and you buy the game during the campaign then you get full points.
I'd rather have a slightly buggy reward system that still gives you the rewards you really care about (the currency from making purchases) than having nothing at all because a campaign for a measly 50 creds is bugged.

Not all of the campaigns are completed just by starting a game up. Some require you to earn a certain trophy or in this case, as it is clearly listed in the app, it requires you to purchase 1 of 4 games.

And I can assure you that while the app is down it still tracks your purchases and gives you the credits you would've earned when it begins working again. I made a decent amount of purchases during the downtime and when it came back about a month ago I had the creds in my account. I did however miss out on some of the campaigns but I can deal with that as long as I get creds for the purchases I made, which is where we get most of our creds from anyway. Just sit tight. They fixed the major regions already the rest will follow shortly.

I totally agree. The Stars program has had times where you have to buy the game through the PlayStation store. If you already have those games, you're shit out of luck. Also, I pre-ordered Astro Bot through Best Buy, so now I won't get the 150 for that because I didn't order it through their store. That's 200 points I won't be getting anytime soon unless I want to buy them again

Trophy view, and what you are describing with ps stars is exactly as it was before. You can look at trophies on the phone for a long time now perhaps since launch

No physical games, massive amount of cheaters in all online games , compatibility issues with games and drivers and upgrading every couple years for one part that costs more than entire PS5 then you need new motherboard eventually because it’s not compatible with new cards need new ram etc etc etc. You end up with a PC graveyard.

This whole Xbox doesn’t have games narrative is so lazy and old. If you’re going to go full blown slow kid at least try to come up with something legit. My reason for no longer playing this Xbox is simple, they never seem to give me a reason to. Even when they do put out a good exclusive they almost always end up putting it on PlayStation, which is great for us gamers but it also gives us no reason to have the Xbox but MS also seems as if they couldn’t careless to give us a reason to keep an Xbox because all they care about is gamepass, hell I’m pretty sure they are going to just put out a chrome cast type gadget and do away with the system. The console has never been in front of PC in terms of features in the entirety of the existence of the medium. I know it is probably a throw away line and meant nothing by it but its a strange one and sets a bad expectation that will only incur further price increases further pushing PS5 from being any different than buying a PC except you are forced to give all your data and information to sony on the free in PS5 and they have more control over what you can't do but I mean I see the writing the on the wall. Sony O/S, or X86 execution on consoles but heavily modded and hampered something along those lines is coming.

If you have a portal then portal would be able to access the ps5 in sleep mode , if it’s off then you’re screwed if you ain’t home to turn it on.

I honestly wish they'd stop being so stubborn and prideful and take a page out of Xbox's book and give up an actual game pass for ps2 and ps3 games and slowly add ps4 and ps5 games instead of the PsPlus tiers that really aren't worth the price and the streaming ps3 games is so awful I'd rather just download them. Worst part is one of my favorite game series Way of The Samurai is on both ps2 and ps3 EXCLUSIVELY cause the company canceled the series before ps4 came out so only way to play is through PSNow/Plus tier 3 and it's annoying I keep no saves I can't play when I want and it's overpriced they have a phenomenal ps2 and ps3 catalog and I'm tired of seeing garbageware and spamware games on the ps5 like it's trying to be Steam BUT AT LEAST STEAM SELLS WAY OF THE SAMURAI 3 AND 4!
I love Playstation a lot and got the ps5 thinking I'd be playing more than just 5 to 6 games on rotation cause I can't have more storage space to play my ps5 games from the storage device but I can waste storage space by having the game in my storage space... Playstation can easily make ps3 emulation and ps2 emulation happen and make it all in a game pass so you don't have to buy individually but I doubt they want to make anyone happy just make profits
Have PS5 don't have any of those games, will get Spidey eventually but is VERY short which is pissing me off...anyway I just saw it for $33 on ebay. DON'T BUY DIGITAL.
