For what I know that's something they said a while ago. Now in the new EULA they changed it for everything except for colabs. So colab battlepasses may remain exclusive unless they negociate with their respective companies

Cause it’s still not a Grind, Getting Level 200-300 Now is the equivalent of getting level 90-100 back then, it takes 2-3 days to Finish a pass now, back then it took 2 weeks or more if you didn’t play daily

1:50 I ACTUALLY HAVE A THEORY FOR THIS! You see, if the og seasons are only 1-2 months long, they ,Ishtar not be able to put a actual OG battle pass for the person to buy. So my theory is that they brought back the “season shop” so that they can sell the original skins. The og season pass will still be remixes and combinations of battle pass skins, but in the season shop they will offer the original skin. My proof that led to this theory? The current OG pass has a remix of Renegade Raider in the skin Renegade Racer. The season shop HAS Renegade Raider. This could be a permanent return for the season shop, and a example of what I think could happen in the future would be instead of the Black Knight we have the White Knight with the Black Knight being available in the season shop. The whole theory though really just depends on if the season shop stays past OG season 1. Since it was originally swapped instantly for the battle pass system in season 2

Literally, the only reason why i want the ch1 passes to return is if they do, then that means they will bring back ch2 passes next, and those are the ones i actually want. If they only brought back the original battle passes for these seasons, early players that already got everything wouldn't have anything to grind and spend on.
Why would OGs care about the OG pass? It's a bunch of objectively worse reskins than the originals. They were targeting people who didn't play season 1, or at the very least, didn't own any of the skins they remade. I have Renegade Raider, so I have no reason to wear Renegade Rebel. There's nothing it does better
It would definitely freshen up the shop my opinion on Fortnite might be too forgiving considering I like pass character that not many would like but if I had one problem with fornite it’s that it’s shop felt most of the time repetitive, so finally getting some old stuff along with new stuff cycling though might help spice it up

In general? I don't know. I don't remember them ever selling banners, or at least, putting a price on them. And Mako was in the item shop, not the season shop. There's not as much demand for gliders as skins tho

As an og myself with most of the old battle passes, I would be very upset if they brought them back, but hear me out. The skins on my account are what make me unique, I played the game back in the day and grinded my battle passes. I wouldn’t want some little timmy who wasn’t even alive yet to be able to buy them. But I get it, epic games is a company and will do anything for money. And honestly, if they did bring back the og battle passes, they would probably give exclusive styles to the original owners. They did, TECHNICALLY, but people misinterpreted what was said. They said battle passes before CH5 S3 can't have individual items sold in the shop. Nothing was said about entire battle passes reappearing, especially in an OG mode where it would be the season in which the pass originated. TDLR; individual items can't be resold, but nothing was said about the entire battle pass
Even though epic games is removing Exclusivity from the game. The damage is already done. The way they've used fomo with collabs throughout battle passes of ch2,3,4, and 1/3 of ch5 is a sellout crash grabbing move yet a clever business Strategy. Some People and my friends knows what fortnite really is, and they decided to not spend any money or not play the game that much. They warn me about this game. However, I still play fortnite and having fun. I just not gonna let cosmetics get the best of me or everything. If I miss out, I miss out. Cosmetics are nothing but pixels.
i'm still very sceptical about the possibility of the OG Season 2 Battle Pass coming back, although i do recognize that it is in fact very possible. But anyway, i'm hoping for it, FOMO is a thing that usually demotivate me because i don't like to grind the game daily, and Fortnite would be way more enjoyable if people could have the chance to get any cosmetics they like and specially if they could get it on they own pace, especially for new players.

There’s an exclusion clause freeing them from complete liability where they say they can change cosmetics at any point

As an og I won’t care if they come back as long as they bring back the Optimus prime skin that I missed on and other collabs
It would definitely freshen up the shop my opinion on Fortnite might be too forgiving considering I like pass character that not many would like but if I had one problem with fornite it’s that it’s shop felt most of the time repetitive, so finally getting some old stuff along with new stuff cycling though might help spice it up
I hope they would bring back, like, all battle passes, i want my 16, 20 and 24 seasons battle passes badly

I definitely believe they can bring them back. If they continue to chapter 2 next year, they won’t even need to make OG styles, they can just lock the super styles to OG players, because god forbid, they go outside to enjoy some ice cream and throw a frisbee.

In general? I don't know. I don't remember them ever selling banners, or at least, putting a price on them. And Mako was in the item shop, not the season shop. There's not as much demand for gliders as skins tho
@@StrawHatAura in season 1 you could get the battle bus banner for free by reaching lvl 10 and the mako by reaching lvl 25, so kind of exclusive, mako only made it once to the item shop in 2018 and epic said it was a mistake

As an og myself with most of the old battle passes, I would be very upset if they brought them back, but hear me out. The skins on my account are what make me unique, I played the game back in the day and grinded my battle passes. I wouldn’t want some little timmy who wasn’t even alive yet to be able to buy them. But I get it, epic games is a company and will do anything for money. And honestly, if they did bring back the og battle passes, they would probably give exclusive styles to the original owners. (they would probably get lots of hate if they didn’t)
i still feel salty they never gave me an og style for nog ops, merry marauder, code name elf and crackshot. and like 90 other rare things.

Yeah people won’t have og styles but still man, this literally will revive Fortnite. I just hope they do slight reskins through every battlepass. So season 4 people can get a new type of omega skin that isn’t a direct copy of the og one but similar enough. And even letting ogs who didn’t max their omega skin get another chance to finally max it out

They did, TECHNICALLY, but people misinterpreted what was said. They said battle passes before CH5 S3 can't have individual items sold in the shop. Nothing was said about entire battle passes reappearing, especially in an OG mode where it would be the season in which the pass originated.

Even though epic games is removing Exclusivity from the game. The damage is already done. The way they've used fomo with collabs throughout battle passes of ch2,3,4, and 1/3 of ch5 is a sellout crash grabbing move yet a clever business Strategy.
Some People and my friends knows what fortnite really is, and they decided to not spend any money or not play the game that much. They warn me about this game.
However, I still play fortnite and having fun. I just not gonna let cosmetics get the best of me or everything. If I miss out, I miss out. Cosmetics are nothing but pixels.
i'm still very sceptical about the possibility of the OG Season 2 Battle Pass coming back, although i do recognize that it is in fact very possible. But anyway, i'm hoping for it, FOMO is a thing that usually demotivate me because i don't like to grind the game daily, and Fortnite would be way more enjoyable if people could have the chance to get any cosmetics they like and specially if they could get it on they own pace, especially for new players.

Fortnite are keeping some exclusives the Exclusive styles are Exclusive for OG owners and the Peppermint Candy cane pickaxe however Peppermint Candy cane axe could return because of exclusitivity being gone but some exclusitivity is staying so that is good I guess old battle passes should return
