    I've got 175000 miles on my FE in just 24 months. No real issues. In fact, except for oil, filters, windshields and one set of tires at 94K, everything is original. I love this car. Best range so far has been 670 miles on one tank.

    • @land7776
      @land7776 4 года назад

      ha, I can routinely get 600+ per tank, but I never let it get that low. 670 miles per tank is phenomenal.. as is your total miles.

    I just got a 2017 2 weeks ago. Man, I honestly wasn't that excited when I 1st picked it out. I just needed a newer car. The deal I got on it was hard to pass up.. within the 1st 15 minutes of driving it home I was in love! Really nice ride. Plus, with me driving 500 miles to and from Georgia to see my kids at least twice a month, I cant complain about the mileage!

      I bought a 2017 LX new, one reason was because it was less or no more than cars I was comparing it to. Way less than conventional Rav4, less than Mazda3, about the same as Honda HRV, except I got the Autonomous Brakng system which the others didn't have. Same or less than all but the basic Civic.The ride is nicer. Anyone who drives long distances, I don't know why they wouldn't have a hybrid. I've logged my MPG on Fuelly since new, and I have lifetime 52.4 MPG. All you have to do is not drive like an idiot.

      @robertmilanese1523 3 года назад +1

      @@Rice2G I haven't given the battery a single thought after I purchased the car. And while the battery is more expensive than a normal car battery.. it isn't that crazy of a price either. If I remember correctly it was somewhere around $400-$600. But I could be wrong on that.

    So many people want AWD. Front wheel drive with good tires works just fine for most snowy conditions. I wonder how many millions of gallons of gas each year are wasted because people insist on AWD for those few days out of the year when it's really bad. I've owned an AWD vehicle for 13 years, and I am going back to FWD on my next car.

    • @areyoudownwithp
      @areyoudownwithp 7 лет назад +6

      AWD is nothing but marketing. It drives me nuts that car dealers won't even stock FWD versions of crossovers near me. If you're worried about snow, put on snow tires!

    • @tastyorange
      @tastyorange 7 лет назад

      They only seem to stock base models with FWD. Very rare to find a higher trim with FWD in the northeast.

    • @mannylucasny
      @mannylucasny 7 лет назад

      I agree AWD at Least for some states is overrated, I work in car sales and run into that problem all the time.

    • @markmd9
      @markmd9 5 лет назад

      Because on those few days with snow when roads are not cleaned properly and you stuck on a little uphill or on the side of the road and you try to dig out the car because of small clearance, can be so stressful that don't want have them again.

    2 topics that I've not heard much or anything about, but since I live in the NW-US, (don't misunderstand, the reviews I have been able to find are insightful and really help, but do you have a line on these area of these features: 1- does KIA have an AWD/4WD in the works? (I know the fuel economy is a factor.) 2- When it's really cold out and there's 10 inches of snow covering the car, is there or will be a KIA remote start to warm up my garage vehicle. 2a- or is that going to be a 3rd party option, perhaps? Thanks
