Setting The Clock Tower for Daylight Saving's Time's End @ Champ's Clock Shop

www.champsclock.com Twice a year we have to change the time of the Timeless Ticking Heart Beat of Champ's Clock Shop. Located along the Chattahoochee River in South East Douglas County Georgia. Champ's Tower Clock rings out the time hourly through the valleys and hills for all to hear. The sound travels up to a couple miles in every direction. Walking along the river banks it sounds its ring with the comparison of a distant Train Whistle blowing far away. The clock came to life in England in the year 1865, the same year Abraham Lincoln was shot by John Wilkes Booth. At some time in the past the clock was taken out of service in Europe and found it's way to a Antiques importer in Connecticut. William Jerry Champion , the founder of Champ's was looking for a heart beat for his clock shop. It was love at first sight. In 1981 The Clock made it to Douglasville Georgia where it found its way to the top of Champ's tower to be returned to life once more. 24 hours a day the clock beats out its pounding sound, counting away the seconds of our lives.
