In this episode, Rebecca gives us all a lesson in standing up for ourselves as she opens up about a horrible experience when an unnamed “idiot” co-star “screamed” at her on set, left her walking off set crying and then she demanded she act to the, “back of the head,” for the rest of the filming. YES. REBECCA!
We also talk about Rebecca becoming THE Reverent Mother in Dune 2, the incredible Dune 2 scene where Lady Jessica drinks the water of life and the amazing lessons she has learnt from working with Timothée Chalamet. But it playing Lady Jessica almost didn't happen as she talks about a phone call with Dune director, Denis Villeneuve where she turned down the role!

Honestly, it's the best Rebecca Ferguson interview I've seen and clearly the most interesting of the whole press tour. The fact that the interview lasts 20 minutes means you can really delve into the answers, and the questions were well thought out and intelligent. And you and Rebecca have a real chemistry that works really well, so it was a pleasure to watch ! I learned a lot more about her, her career and her approach to Jessica than in the other Dune interviews, so hats off to you !

I'm going to side with the male actor, since he is the lead and this will lead the Dune franchise into some woke garbage if they side with her and make the story about her, which garbage Hollywood will do. And of course The Rock's is going to side with her because he is a diva too.

I don't know why you think it woul shift the focus of the story to her, but for your information Dune was already "woke" 60 years ago. Books 5 and 6 would be called a wokefest by someone like you.

And yes, the later books are insanely ahead of their time, truly in the 60s spirit of rethinking and critically questioning current societal norms. Such a blast to read!
This might be the best interview I've ever seen. Two people listening and responding - I always knew Rebecca Ferguson was a super interesting person, but love how much she engages and opens up here - kudos to Josh, this is some skill set as an interviewer.

Rebecca Ferguson is my favorite actress on today. She became my favorite actress when I first saw in Mission Impossible . I'm amazed how she damn cool in role of Ilsa.
She was average in that movie and only had a role because Hollywood is woke. Tom Cruise is a much better actor and it was very evident in that movie lol you are trippin🤣🤣
In my eyes Rebecca Ferguson can do no wrong. She's stunningly beautiful, sharp as a razor & awesome as an actor. She is also an absolutely awesome human being. I just love this lady.

Ferguson’s performance in these films is stunning. Somehow she managed to play the same character becoming two different people with radically different priorities in an instant… and she did it plausibly. She’s incredibly talented.

She's quite a candid interviewee. She obviously puts a lot of thought into her character's onscreen dynamics with Paul's, and I only wish we could hear Timothy explaining his perspective on the matter.

The craziest part is that she appears to be able to maintain this energy and enthusiasm in almost every interview and to me that's just superhuman. If I did one day of nailing it in interviews like this I would probably be an exhausted shell of myself and they do this shit for days at a time if not weeks.

Rebecca Ferguson has always been that girl. You could put her in a movie cast full of heavy hitters and she would stand out. Amazing performance by her in this film.
It was Hugh Grant, He is not only known for being super rude to co-stars, he actually admits it in interviews, even so far as to once made Drew Barrymore cry after yelling at her because she gave him acting notes. Honestly this guy is a first rate child, behaves like one, and confirmed from her story that productions defend that kind of behavior. Just sad. Its a shame to because i enjoy his films hes in.
Out of all the potential names that were listed, it being him makes the most sense for me. Just from simply watching him in group press tours over the years and how absolutely miserable he looked in them. He's a right c*** for sure. 😂

I'm actually convinced it was Jake Gyllenhaal. Although I've heard Meryl Streep is kind of a jerk to her fans (but hey, if I'm in public going about my business, I'd get annoyed if everyone talked to me too)

This interview shows how you really shouldn't judge people by brief camera appearances. She came off to me as really entitled and standoffish before watching this. I actually speculated that she may have been resentful of the attention the younger cast members were getting. I was completely wrong. She seems delightful and confident. I quite admire her candor and I'm reminded to not be so quick to judge people. Great interview!
Rebecca Ferguson is at once relatively unknown, effervescent, classy, and marvelously talented, She's the Swedish equivalent to Australia's Cate Blanchett.
The only reason she's not more visible is because
A) she so thoroughly disappears into her roles, and
B) she doesn't want to be.

I'm honestly in absolutely awe about this woman. Didn't know much about her (just watched Dune) and I was so mesmerized with her performance that I started to watch her interviews. I'm very very inspired by her way of thinking, talking and walking in this world. Truly hoping she's going to get that Oscar nomination because it was visceral!

People are missing the point of the story she just told.
This story is not about who did it but about standing up for yourself. To find your own voice even if you are in a vulnerable position. I find her story very inspiring. Rebecca sounds so genuine and human. I've been following her career since the white queen and Mission impossible rogue nation and men she doesn't disappoint
