    There’s a wee gap in the video tutorial about 3.30mins …I can work out what to do but a beginner might get a little confused. Thanks for another great project…

      I was watching and did get a bit confused. According to the latter online she slst the first 11 stitches and then hdc into the same stitch and hdc across leaving 10 stitches unworked, am I right?

    Hi there was a gap in the video after the first arm hole. I slip stitched into the first 11 and then the video went all the way to the end of a number of rows. Can you tell me what to do after the first 11 stitches of slip stitches? Thank you.

    • @piecesbyliz3137
      @piecesbyliz3137 Год назад +8

      I don’t know if you still need this, but after the 11 slip stitches you’re going to half double crochet all the way across until the last 10 stitches, then you’re gonna change one turn it and half double crochet two together on that next row and then go all the way across the last two stitches and a half double crochet those together

      That is her mistake in the video. You should click the link in the description box to view the pattern. The pattern will show you the correct way to make the armhole part. I was confused too.

    Love the vest. Already started making it, but with a different yarn. Would love it if your pattern included measurements (in inches or cm) instead of numbers of stitches and rows. Any chance you could share that?

    I’m SOO confused 😢for the 11alip stitches on both sides what do we do next? Chain one and 10 slip sitches then hdf then last 10 stitches? Do we then chain 2? I just need clarification

    • @FabZvjezdan7982
      @FabZvjezdan7982 3 месяца назад

      I just made this. Don't do a chain prior to the slip stitches, just turn your work and do the slip stitches. Then when you get to the eleventh stitch, slip stitch into it, do one chain stitch, then a half double crochet into the exact same stitch. Continue with hdc until you have 10 stitches remaining, then one chain stitch, turn, and work the next row

    I've just completed the back section of this vest and I am so excited to finish it so I can start another one in a different yarn. Thank you so much! This is the most enjoyable pattern I've worked in quite some time. Your video is excellent and I find your voice both relaxing and charming. I'll look for more of your tutorials once I've finished making vests for everyone I know 😂. Thank you! Thank you! 🥰 🎉

    Hi Carrie! If I want to make this vest more like an extra small would I do less rows before the arm holes, or above the arm holes, or both places?? I’m short and have a short waist, so it’s not coming out very cropped, which I like. It’s hitting me at about my front pelvic bones. 😂 Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for the darling pattern!

    Я связала по этому туториалу и мне очень понравилось как получилось. Единственное что я делала все резинки белыми, а сама жилетка васильковая. К сожалению, я плохо разбираюсь в пряже и выбрала 50% хлопок, но изделие выглядело бы лучше, возьми я акрил + шерсть. Я просто не хотела делать его слишком теплым.
    Спасибо за урок ❤❤❤
    П. С. Я вязала размер М по сайту, достаточно понятно.

    If you’re trying to replicate this vest following her tutorial/pattern: don’t bother, look for a better tutorial elsewhere
    The measurements are all fucked up, it’s full of mistakes and it will not come as she says it would. I have been going crazy over it, trying and undoing and retrying to eventually just having to guess it to make it work. I’ve read a few more comments confirming the tutorial doesn’t make any sense so I feel confident to say this wasn’t just me. @Heycarrie Maybe don’t do tutorials in the future?

    • @mubeenaatcha8391
      @mubeenaatcha8391 8 месяцев назад

      Sometimes that could happen if the stitches are too close together or too densely packed together. Using yarn that is thinner, or using a hook one size larger would loosen up the work and make it less stiff. Hope that helps
