- Our deck is loaded with ways to lose the game but hopefully we can work our way out of that with Gideon of the Trials and a Harmless Offering

Dear God, Crim literally peeled the skin off that opp's soul and took a sniff with that read at 13:47 lmao
I hate that you said it like this 😭😭😭
Finally, a new type of deck I already have vast experience with.
The correct analysis of the Garruk/weeb player has killed me.
"It may not change how bad I lose, but soul-read."
- Crim "Gideoso" Bolas
“Kaya’s having a boil” is now a top 5 #ThingsCrimSays
As a gideon myself i agree losing is fun
13:41 love how you soul read opponents deck based on their Avatar and Sleeves 😂
15:39 I’m not very with strategy, but for the opponent wouldn’t have been better to activate the den of the bug bear. Because even if it did no damage it still would produce goblin tokens. Then when he had 2 or 3 tokens start attacking with which ever land Crim didn’t blank with Gideon? Wouldn’t that had produce a lot more press than the two damage from the foundry?
In hindsight, yes, but the opponent couldn’t predict that Gideon would keep returning.
You had the win at 12:15 if you play chance for glory then on the following turn give the opponent demonic pact and cast chance for glory to avoid losing on your end step.
How many Magic players does it take to screw in a lightbulb?
Two. One to screw it in, and one to tell him how he could do it a turn faster.
@@funkydiscogodthis is hilarious and I’m sorry, but I’m stealing it.
Came for the video, stayed for the comments like this
Couldn't he play Leyline after he chose the first mode of "Demonic Pact", then choose the "Draw 2" option and give it to the opponent already? Since he has hexproof, he has to choose the "Lose the game" mode, right?
Opponent had protection from The One Ring, so Crim couldn't target them with Harmless Offering
You'd also have to do the "4 damage" one as you can hit yourself with it, but yes if you have a leyline you can make the combo 1 turn faster
archfiend would be a nice plan B option:)
But the deck is otherwise creatureless which makes it a lightning rod for removal.
Fateful Handoff could be a cool include for builds like this, bit more mana to cast but draws you a bunch
"artifact or creature"
Chalice checking yourself by playing chalice on one with the chalice on 2 on board is amazing. 😂
im starting to get concerned on how many random vehicles were "getting in" lol
This deck is hype. Now I want to see "Magic, but the goal is to lose."
5 best cards in that format would be the five pacts (like Pact of Negation) that cost zero mana and lose you the game at the beginning of the next upkeep. After that, there are a few red spells for two and three mana like Final Fortune that give you an extra turn, then lose you the game. If you can get to four mana you could play an Abyssal Persecutor to stop you opponent from losing.
@@toxicmadness The blue and black pacts require targets. Stifle is 1 mana, and there are lots of 2-mana stifle effects. And honestly some of this stuff is worth banning (anything that says "you lose the game" or any permanent that lets you pay life or mill as a cost)
Hello
BEEFSLAB KINDRED!!
Dear Crim,
Who keeps hurting you?
P.S. That Garruk/ Weeb call was spot on.
😂
Chalice is so crummy, but seeing all the brain dead mono red decks get crushed by it, screw it, MORE CHALICE!
First :)
What's the legality
timeless, the new arena format, almost every card on arena is legal.
