      @@YouYou-sm8tf Mhmm. I personally don't date men 7 years older than me to avoid a situation like this. I've lived with my grandmother, it's best to age together than to be the one who has to take care of your spouse all the time due to age, you might need to go out to work / do activities, but can't because you have an elderly person to take care of and maybe you have no money for a nurse. Gotta analyse all the possibilities.

      Yeah, I wish that too, but I don't think he understands and is taking into mind that a business can fail and is not always successful. In my opinion, he's not working hard enough for the business to succeed. Like advertising, promoting his business to real estate agents, so they can recommend him when they sell a place. Instead he sits at home.
      I understand where his wife is coming from, because many people outside of South Korea actually struggle harshly and can't get loans to help them stand up. I wish she could communicate in a way he could understand, but he's probably just use to struggling and then his wife working to keep them afloat. It's sad really, the wife could honestly do better with her life, because of her passion, endurance and logic.

      Well it depends right, how long has she been living in Korea? If it hasn’t been long there is a chance she hasn’t gotten her work permit yet. The thing is in general it is hard to find a good job in Korea whether you are Korean or not, there is a huge unemployment rate with the young adults in Korea and that is mostly due to their inexperience. So the fact that it is hard for Koreans, for a foreigner it’s harder as they would mostly need to have good education. I mean why do you think that most of the foreigners in Asian countries the job they usually have is being an English teacher. They had to have specificity gotten that degree already before coming to Korea. So yea it would be hella stressing for her. It is honestly the same for most foreigners in any country.

    • @lovejoseph1899
      @lovejoseph1899 3 года назад +53

      @@oyinolubayo7079 Yes but I don't think it's the same in Europe or America, foreigners get different kinds of jobs. There are doctors, nurses, engineers even drivers. There are no specific laws made for foreigners. And you don't see them nag about foreigners because they don't care , they are only interested in your qualification as long as you keep the laws of the country. Foreigners can also use public places just like the citizens, not in Asia where you see '' foreigners are not allowed'' or ''this skin color is not allowed''. It still boils down to difference in system of government. I know finding a job is hard for the citizens but harder for foreigners even the hardest if you are older or a person of color.

      I had to take a step back from intensely studying korean bc it wasnt clicking 😩 i had to take a different approach to learn so i just watch korean videos with korean subs on and follow along and i make sure to read every single thing thats in korean out loud and tbh… it’s done some things. My listening skills have gotten better and i can read hangul pretty fast out loud now. I think what gets us caught up in conversations and freely speaking is the fact that we have to make sentences from what we have learned over a short period, not like our native language where we had our whole lives to speak it and develop that skill naturally. We will get better once grammar sticks with us longer, cuz i know thats where i get blocked, many grammar rules.
