I wouldn't say she's a slave to her husband but rather most women we tend to be anxious about the future so we tend to have the need to plan in advance and get money in to stop us from getting into debt.
I mean neither of them have money, so idk why you’re putting it all on him. She’s younger than him, knew his finances, & still married him.
I mean why would she married a man in his 70s with early dementia? Well the answer is the same, emotion (love) over logic.
That’s why you don’t marry older men
I really loved this channel. Really shows the diversity of people living south Korea .introducing to world the good and sometimes bad many face there.
‘I hear Africans love to wear gold?’ Erm.. not more than any other group of people, where did you hear that from?😅😂
I swear… I enjoyed the whole thing but couldn’t help but cringe at the random cliches here and there
To be fair it's kinda true for Ghanaian people lol it's was called the Gold Coast after all
@@stephyworld8713 that’s also a colonial name to better identify where to steal resources 😅 that’s why they changed it after independence.
@@solange4121 I know, but still, the reason it was called the Gold Coast is because there is a significant amount of Gold in Ghana, much more than in the neighbouring African countries. And gold is also very omnipresent in the Ghanaian culture (see Golden stool etc.)
LMAO....
6:29 the camerman is looking kinda cute there! 😁
And Gladys, I feel you girl. I'm not a crier, but trying to learn Korean made me cry more than once. 😥
Idk her but I’m proud, she freely expresses her concerns, she’s learned the language, and she’s made friends and is involved in the community !
*Girl, its been 20 seconds already* lol the editor be cracking me up with the commentary 😂🤣
This woman is really trying her hardest and is positive throughout!! I aspire to be like her!!
Just seeing their daily interactions within their family and friends, not giving up on something for the well-being of their better half... Makes me feel the love just by seeing them, hope that they would always grow as a loving family.. Love you😘😘😘😘
Love to see my west African sister thriving. Keep pushing sweet sis. Hope to meet you in korea some day
She needs her own show
One thing i hate is when ppl just tell someone to work harder when theyre already trying hard. Korean is hard to learn /: and Gladys already does a lot for her family in korea, i can feel how she wants to be good for her husband and be able to take care of him properly. Such a good woman! ❤️❤️
6:32 the camera guy's arms though. Wow 👏
this is the kind of person every society needs more of
She's so gorgeous like her nose and lips and colour like I always admired this skin tone it's so seemless like my skin is spotty her shade is perfect all the way through
Love her friend's advice to pray and work together. I hope things get better for them.
She seems like a sweet lady to be honest if I was in her shoes I would also worry about having to provide for my family in a foreign country. I am so proud of how she's coping with this stress
He better get a second job. Working two days a week ain't gonna cut it no matter where in the world you are. Get a job!
Our awesome editor is back at it again! The editing really adds so much fun to the video!!!
I literally love this woman 😭❤️
I love her, she’s so hard working and kind.
They should start a RUclips channel. They would make a killing they are very entertaining ❤️
It sounds like they do because the kid was editing videos for youtube but there wasn't a link or at least channel name in the documentary.
Do they have socials? I would love to see more of them. She’s fascinating!
@@rosey312the show should have advertised their RUclips channel
It’s so good she has a friend that will tell her to pray about it and work together. 😭
Gladys is a sweet, caring, transparent and honest lady. Good on you and family. Fighting.
The editor “girl it’s been 20 seconds already “ lol I love it
14yrs in Korea and she still think Korean is hard and then what about me just 2 months 😭 really hard, she's so sweet and I can understand her 😞
I laughed so hard when she said that the neighbours come out and beat the thief to death 🤣😂..that caught me by suprise
This channel is everything ❤️
this comment ❤️
She's very bubbly 🤩
And I love her husband too
You look cute together
Love from Ghana 🇬🇭
It's nice that she has supportive friends. 💕
I want more of this two please guys give more this ones cos this amazing
THE BEST CHANEL WITH THE BEST EDITOR
She is just worried about their future and trying to ensure they will have good finances. They are good together, because they understand each other. EDITOR 👍👍👍
If they do they wouldnt be bickering about him not working. If these problems arent sorted out, long term there will be more problems. Almost 60, Its rather late for him to change or build family finances. Is she a citizen yet? Not easy even of foreign wives to get citizenship.
@@nesadcruz7840 I see a woman who has a older husband and is concerned about their future. I believe she stated that her income would not be able to support them, so they have to work and save money for the future.
@@smorris2353 Talking about it in public, nagging him to me isnt the best ways. Asians generally dont air family issues publicly. I can see her husband isnt happy about how she is expressing it , he calls it nagging. Its embarassing. I wouldnt want the whole world seeing this If I were him or any member of his family.
@@nesadcruz7840 You relinquish your privacy when you go on TV. We all face anxiety in different ways.
@@smorris2353 yes, for that reason one has to be careful how one portrays the family.
💜💜💜Hang in there mama. It will be challenging but struggles never last forever. Her Korean is even better for the fact she can hold a conversation so well. Hope and pray everything works out for her and her family 💜💜💜💜
i bet the husband only knows korean he has no right to say smn like that
Moving to another country and learning a different language can be difficult. I am enjoying watching this and I think that people who are not in similar situations should not judge her.
I love Gladys- what a sweet woman who speaks from her heart!
am I wrong to think that she should leave him ? she is way out of his league...she's a diamond
I always look forward to watching K-doc episodes, another great one, and as always cheers to editor-nim.
부인분이 미인이세요 따님도 아빠 닮았고 생활력 강하시고 멋진 여성이자 엄마이십니다
앞으로 더욱 행복해지시고 늘 건강하셨으면❤
This is really good ! I’m a American 🇺🇸 and I really like this show! It’s funny and really good! I’m so glad that the words are up for me to read them! Keep this show I just subscribed
welcome to the channel! 🤝
Learning new languages is hard. Specially one very different from your own. Hang in there, at least you're trying. I just saw that video of that white dude with the korean wife who still hasn't bothered to learn any Korean in 11 years or whatever. I think he's from New Zealand like me, I felt absolutely embarrassed.
Seems lazy
For us who are used to alphabet it’s easier to learn a language that use alphabet. Korean’ chinese, japanese, arabic, thai.....that have sign it’s much much harder to remember the form
A lot of people live abroad and never bother to learn the local language. At least Gladys is trying and can communicate well with native.
I'm from Ghana and I love how my Ghanaian sister is fighting hard for her family. That's what Ghanaian women do, we have supportive wives.
I LOVE THIS. HER PERSONALITY IS FIRE, AND THE PEOPLE SEEM NICE
They know she's from Ghana, why do they keep saying apurika? Imagine she kept saying "because Asians love eating kimchi, because Asians love saunas, because Asians do...." They'd indignantly correct her.
I just love this woman and expect more from her ans her family! ♥️ she is adorable, greetings from Germany 🇩🇪
7:38 Same in the DR. The policemen actually have to rescue the thief because the neighbours go in 🤣🤣
Omgosh I love her, she's a good wife! An encouragor when her husband needs it, a comrade (helping him in his business), supportive of his dreams and believing in his ability to provide and submissive being calm when she sees her pushing him to be better needs some respite, she respects him when he needs his space.
I Stan Eunjae Lee.
so this is what it feels like to be an idol 🕺🏻
😂😂
Those ajumma friends of hers are so cool 😍 love their style and energy
She so calm n grown woman handling argument..
The screaming and yelling and neighbors coming out thing happens in kenya too. 😁😁I really wish this couple happiness, good health and a successful business.
It makes a lot of sense. She must have grown up in a household where they hated owing others or loans really dealt them a blow and she never wants to be one of those people owing others. I'm that same way. I don't like owing loans whatsoever and I can't rest until I've paid them off. Welcome to the world of being perfectionists. We can't help it even if we try...
I wish she wasn't so hard on herself. Her korean sounds amazing. She shouldn't set the bar to first language fluency. She can easily hang out and joke with korean friends and they are literally bickering in complete korean about not knowing enough korean😂. I wish I was a quarter as good as her
I love the wife and her friends💗
when they put the fire around him when he started yelling I schreeeched why is korean tv so funny 😂😂
“I know you frustrated with me. I’m frustrated with myself too” my soul 😭💔
Gladys is so beautiful!🥺🤩
She is so frank love it 😂
아내분 넘 좋으신분 같아요❤️
This is sure a lively and expressive family! I wish them to be happy and healthy!
She such a lovely personality I am so proud of her
That’s a lot of dirty laundry out to the public but hopefully this show gets them contracts
Why am I getting emotional.
this is a lovely documentary, I feel the same
This makes me rethink about my retirement and the plan. I'm only 27 but years can go by fast
I’m from Ghana and I just stumbled on this. She is so brave and they are beautiful together. I’m crying right now ❤️❤️❤️
6:33 the camera man is kinda fine 😍😍
They love each other. ❤️
she’s very strong willed and determined woman! I love her! I hope they can pay their loan!!!
Omg give these people a show already!!!
i love gladys so much💗 what a beautiful person inside and out, i want their family to be successful!!!
I love this channel! And such amazing wife ❤️
the hidden cameras are so scary and these days there getting harder to spot so oberall i avoid public stalls
LMAO, that's so funny. The dad was like "I don't like you on your phone daughter". Meanwhile, he's using his own phone when she's gone. 😭✋
Real wholesome inspiring informative documentary Channel with the best editor Lee.. 💯
I’m a fan, I love this woman from Ghana! She’s amazing and needs to be protected at all costs! I know she maybe hard on her husband but he needs a strong woman to keep pushing him to be his best. I hope their stress goes away and they can live happier ☺️☺️
I love Gladys 😻 I wanna see more of this beautiful family
Thank you for uploading these videos for us, I love this show but I can’t seem to find the full episodes anywhere.
Wow. This was so amazing to watch.
