We have only 10 of them ….(is6, is6B, is5, is3A, kv4 kresl., defender, object 252u, object 703 II, and kirovets 1 …) it’s not much…. and 1 sovjet heavy tank the K2…. XD what a wonderful thing if u have problems in ur game just add some sovjet heavy’s and everything seems forgotten
This tank has actually been in the game files for years. That's why the stats seem like they came off an older style tank like the IS5. First saw it around 6 or 7 years ago when I was going through the tanks that were in the game but not "in the game" just to see what might be coming soon.
Heaps of tanks have been in the game for ages, the amx M4 was in the games TRAILER, and yet wasn't released until like, what, seven years later? As well as the renegade, it has been around since the pre HD tank model days

Its literally Is-3. Object 703 is just another name for the Kirovets 1, whivh was a one of prototypes for IS3. Russians took the turret of this project and the hull from the other one and made that into the IS3

@@bryans6539 object 703 is the development codename for the IS3, there were two competing platforms Kirovets 1 as shown in game is one particular platform.
The other was derived from the IS-2 hull, had the famous pike nose and a different turret.
IS-3, as produced had the Kirovets turret on the pike nose hull. The rest is history

He's very obsessed with turbo and more recently the intuition crew skill.
@@MyTran-gn4rk for good reason. intuition lets him maximize damage via low investment rapid switch, and turbo helps tanks keep up with what has become a fast heavy meta.
What I just don't understand is why he drops vert stabs for the turbo instead of dropping vents. Seems crazy.
Still will prefer my 703 2. I set it up with turbo in a mobility slot as well as the field mods, so now it feels so much more agile. Add the fact that you have a double shot capability that allows you to trade with t10 heavies, it's my tank.

@@nrgmonster863 Compared to other "broken tanks" like Skoda and Defender, etc, I don't think it's that bad. At least it doesn't have almost the same alpha as a skorpion.

Kirovets-1 with .24 dispersion on the move still has better DPM and gun handling then the WZ 114, just goes to show the WZ 114 has stats that are older then WoT itself.
I argued thay it was balanced initially, the wz 114 that is, but now I realise I'd rather play anything else
Well you guys should realise by now Only USSR tanks gets to be balanced or OP while 1 of my favourite nation(british) gets tanks that aint even ordinary and underpowered.....caliban...gsor 1008....and new british that cant be a normal tank or a normal autoloader or even a normal auto reloader
@@SilentJaguar gsor is really good, cromwell B is still excellent in the right hands. Chieftain at tier ten, the sexton 1 arty at tier three is one of two that are still like pre 9.18 arty and the cent 5/1 is an absolute beast at tier 8. I do agree with yiu though, cos these are a few tanks out of a whole tree, whereas Russian premiums could make a second tech tree

The Kirovets-1s turret is exactly the same as the stock turret on the IS-3 (even same name). Reason is, as some have already explained, that the Kirovets-1 (and the Obj. 703) are protoype versions of the IS-3

Had alot of good games with the IS-3 going down that line to get my Obj 277, which is still one of my favorite tanks in the game. It's got medium tank speed with decent heavy tank armor, decent side-scraper, small weak point on top of turret. Also the t-10 is just as fun as the obj 277, if you're top tier. Really fun line to play down if you haven't already
This has been on WoT console for a while now and has been my all time favorite premium tank, the skinned version is called Scourge. Great mobility and phenomenal armor if used correctly, hull down and sidescrape to bait shots into your tracks and you can wear down even tier 10s
My good ol' IS-6 got once again even more outdated and outclassed... I'm used to it now and I rarely take this thing out of my garage, but I'll never sell it WG ! Never trade it either ! this is my most played tank, I have an history with it, and whatever new bullshlt you keep adding to the game won't make me give up on the IS-6 of my childhood ! (damn this game has been going for so long...)
well chuffed to see this tank finally added, its straightup just my favourite tank design outside of modern tanks and I know it's been i the game files for years now

I'd like the design if it had the top IS-3 turret. As it is, though... it looks like the turret doesn't belong. The hull is very angular and hard-looking, while the turret looks almost... crude? Like the guys at the factory didn't care whether their handiwork was sloppy as long as it went out onto the battlefield. I don't know, the turret and hull just don't fit together in my eyes.

I have a 7.26 skill commander on my 279. I really like the sound detection. It is slightly faster than the sound you hear through your headphones.
It is one of the best t8 premiums on console and been around for years.
its only good on console because console is missing tanks that make it mediocre on PC
@@demonator65 facts over 25 k games on console, I’ve been playing wot on pc for like a year and half, all the tanks are better on pc version in my opinion, let’s just hope they don’t bring that auto loader rhm over from console, aka iron rain!! Things stupid!!!
Its a first iteration design for the IS 3. It deserves to be added to the game, cant say the same about other tanks like the top tier polish tanks

I think aiming device and stabilizer are absolute must-haves with this tank. For the 3rd slot, I would rotate between vents, optics, and turbo, depending on the map.

Just my opinion but it'd probably be better seeing how you'd equip the tank without bond/bounty equipment & how it performs without them instead using normal equipment. Most players tend to keep the hard to get equipment like bond/bounty for tier 10s.

I got the tank, I have the IS-6 and another tier 8 Russian premium tank from the bond shop but they both struggle in the Meta now adays, so I'm looking forward to playing this tank.
Funnily enough this tank has been around on Console for years and is considered possibly one of the most underrated tier 8 premium heavies.

QuickyBaby, can you please make a video about the tank modules and internal structure of the top (random number.. 100, or tier 8-10) most popular tanks or incorporate more armor and module layout review so it is nice to learn not only the strengths of new tanks and tanks that you review, but also their weaknesses like ammo-rack locations, engine and fuel tank locations, crew locations, etc. for example for more effective shot placement decisions like where to aim to kill commander + gunner/loader from front/side, etc.
To be honest KRT-1 has been available in Chinese server for at least 6 years and barely anyone bought this tank because it was not competitive at all even 6 years ago… and now WG is releasing it globally without any buff just to fool players to pay for garbage lmao.
It's definitely not garbage. It's just a balanced tank, exactly how it should be
@@cloud_0_ If KRT-1 is balanced then IS-3 will be OP in my opinion. The derpy gun is similar to the one on IS-5 previous to recent buff. Also remember that DPM of KRT-1 is on the lower end of tier8 Russian heavies that are equipped with 122mm guns, which makes your gaming experience even worse.

This came up in my list in todays calendar event. It was 15,000,000 credits. If I didnt already have all the other Russian heavies (which I rarely play) I might have bought this. But after watching all the reviews I decided it wasnt worth my 15 million credits. I did get a great discount on the Type 59 though.

Dude honestly all these IS-3/7 look alikes fuck with me bc you see an IS-3 turret and hull shape and boom, the armor is completely different and it fires 600 alpha every 10s

If you already have the 703 II, it really isn't worth 15mil credits, but if you don't have a 703 II, I think it is worth it. You get that 703 II kind of play style, just without the second gun and a little more mobile. I have the Kirovets 1 saved in my Trading Caravan, but wont be getting it. I have too many Russian premiums as it is, and I much prefer my 703 II
I like the speed. I LOVE the SPEED of the ammo this tank uses. But for me, this tank is going to be a hard sell... I have the 703 - 2, and do not see a purpose for this tank. Thank You for the review, Quicky Baby !
I have a theory: WOT keeps trying to release faster but all-rounded armor heavies so that the majority of other types of tanks have to use gold rounds. More gold rounds, more credits spent, more urge to buy credits. If you think about statistics, the heavy tank players are 1/3 of the total (without counting in arty; keep in mind that the number of arty players has been greatly reduced). therefore they can urge the 2/3 of the player to spend more credits.
Sad when all aspects of the game are being set up to milk wallets.

After watching one of the WG videos, the improvements from rotation device is cancelled out by the improvement in rotation thus not actually improving the dispersion. Do beware of that
I use sound detection because when im grinding I have the sound low and have a movie on the other screen

A better comparison to this tank would be the 112. The 112 and the Kirovets are practically the same with only having some minor differences with the exception of pen. This will most likely not be the next meta premium tank as I ain't seeing many saying that the 112 is meta; But both tanks are still good.
This is a slightly of topic comment but i have a question regarding how you would play a stock tank compared to A fully upgraded one for example how you cope with bad gun performance in a non mobile tank like a heavy.

QB can you please do showcases of tanks with more realist crew stats, as you always do them with max skills/perks which is between 7-14. Most people wont have that many skils or perks and shows the tank in a way alot people wont be able to play it.

Turbo is such a waste of an equipment slot on most tanks. Maus/Badger/E100/etc being the exceptions.
That's the best tier 8 soviet premium on console because it's the only one that doesn't have the pike nose on the front

One thing: This tank is a chinese tank in WOT Blitz named WZ 112-2, I have it there and *it has a horrendous ammorack* most times when u get shot in the sides, its usually ur ammo rack damaged or even blown off if u are unlucky

Never get ammoracked as well, also years before Blitz, it's sold on the Chinese Region (illegally) by the Chinese Agent company.
i am thinking of dropping the rammer, to use aiming device...so bad gun that i would rather hit my shots then have the dpm
I see no need to get this when the 703 II is almost an exact replica with a second gun.. Which makes it better. So why would you get the kirovets-1?
If it’s better than something it’s OP, Russian bias, p2w, etc. if it’s better than nothing then the devs are stupid for creating something worthless. Stop thinking relative to things in this case - it’s a solid heavy tank at tier 8. Get it if you want it and have the gold, or don’t.

Qb you need to understand that turbo is not helping all the tanks to perform better, so please learn how to play and when to use tubo. Dont use it every time
You forgot to mention that it has 20mm on the top of the hull and any HE are going to reck it

Cant really see the value of a review if the tank is fully outkitted with bounty equippment and other goodies. Got no value for me as a regular schmoe that have to grind it from the beginning so to speak. But it always nice ofc to see what the potential is :)

I shuffled a bit and despite dismissing certain skins, the VK7501 and a lot of overpriced rentals I get them AGAIN after shuffling. If I dismiss a deal, it should remain DISMISSED. showing it again and wasting 75k everytime is utterly low. Damn WG. Wow, either this is low or a very stupid programming error. In the last case I expect to get a refund for wasted credits because of the broken shuffle.
Yes, I did get a few deals as I was missing the Renegade and T77 and the Kirovets came up pretty quick.
But I stand by my opinion. Dismissing means dismissing. Just tell me 'no more bunddles'
