This thing actually looks pretty alright. As someone who won't ever get it, fighting it doesn't seem problematic, just treat it like a Badger with worse armour, don't sit in front of it and let it DPM you
"Badger with worse armour" thats a bit of an understatement leopard will bounce more than this thing, and I wouldnt worry about its dpm since the reload is still huge( not that you will ever see one on the battlefield past the first week)

This is how reward vehicles should be. A bit of a flex by players that have them but not broken and a misery to play against.

Following the Chinese tank naming scheme, this should be a heavy tank…
the first number is always 1 which means tank
the 2nd number can have three numbers, if its 1 then its a ht, if its 2 its a mt/mbt, if its a 3, then its a lt
then the last number is the generation of the tank
this is an imaginary tank, SP stands for Self-propelled but they will never use English to name those tanks
but the tech tree chinese td's have the heavy tank hulls names..

They are not using kaku english to name their Tanks guys
Might not be the most meta tank but I think it looks pretty cool.
It's not OP. It's got a strong gun but armor is trash, it's a grille but maybe a small bit better.

Unfortunately, there are + 500 tanks that do require some type of balance, not even talking about EBR's
@@vinct7023 Well yes, but if we don't actually let WG know that we want balanced tanks, then they'll say "Oh our players don't even pay attention when we release fair tanks.", and then they won't do anything about the +500 tanks that need fixing.
I love that they finally dindt make a super broken tank for the best players! That was what made me quit the game and also because profit in tier 10 without premium is little to non and people only firing gold
ofc ppl only firing gold, just think about it t10 tanks have horrible pen.. there is a huge jump in armor in t10 compared to t9 but most of the tanks are using the same gun on t10 what their t9 counterpart had.. it is just ridiculus.. I mean wg is doing it for a reason, like this you have to spam gold and it won't be profitable to play t10 so you will buy premium and premium tanks.. it is only business

I’m glad that they’ve made something that looks fun and novel by being different from the other TDs but at the same time looks pretty balanced

I feel like WG is taking little baby steps into the right direction. It may be a small feature overall but it is giving me hope for the game!

Have you been around in the last couple of months? Field mods, tier 9 premiums... All that makes this balanced tank irrelevant regarding the future of the game
@@jrok4312 As I said, they’re taking little steps into the right direction. By not giving the best players an overpowered tank, they’re thinking about the balancing aspect which is great from their department. The tier 9 thing is just to make more money to sustain the game. Field mod, well that’s to keep the game interesting for everyone.

WG releases balanced tanks and reward tanks on the regular though? That doesn't have any bearing on if they'll release one, two, or three OP tanks the rest of the year. And this has been the case for years.
Looks like a good tank for which you actually need some brains to make it work. I really like it's visual model as well. Good job I guess WG for making a balanced reward tank for once! 👍
it seems like a tank that a good player would do very well in and a bad player would do bad in, which is good for a ranked reward tank

Heavy tank: mobility

Its a tank to just mope around behind heavys to be an extra gun and hold the enemy heavys from pushing. Also could do a little flank with a few other tanks to farm the enemy

Why is a tank that is both wider and taller than the Grille 15 more stealthy? The Grille 15 should have the highest camo other than the STRV 103B, yet in usual WG fashion it simply doesn't. The balance department is a den of chaos.

I was absolutely shocked that one of the smallest tier 10 TDs has less camo than a literal moving bunker like the E3 or 268v4
The Grille is not small at all, its really tall and that generally influences camo.
@@tajj7 yes. It's how tall a tank is and not exactly how "big" the whole crosssection is. which I think is a flaw in how camo is calculated.
@@tajj7 by that logic then a half a meter antenna sticking out should make something slim and small have less camo than a fat wide tank. doesnt make sense

@ QuickyBaby you need to try out additional grousers more on tanks where top speed isn't the concern. especially since this had poor ground resistances, you'll get a bigger performance gain
This is how WG should introduce new tanks. This tank looks really balanced IMO. Good gun, average mobility, bad armour, average gun depression. Look at VZ - Damn good gun (handling, alpha, reload, intra reload), very good mobility (like mediums), strong armour on turret with small coupola (hull is trolling as well, specially sides), average gun depression. Overall perfect tank!
saw one of these in a Random Battle earlier and was so confused; figured it might be an upcoming tank.

you should try the tank with additional grousers instead of the vents
it helps a ton with ground resistance
This is how I play in my 2 marked E4. This tank is gonna be fun with it's increased mobility, higher dpm and quicker aim time
Mobility wise this would probably benefit from the better ground resistances for grousers over a turbo.
Yeah, have been watching Orzanel's stream today and he tried grousers after a random comment in chat and they made a huge difference over running a turbo

you should try the colorblind option...bcuz it turns the tank outlines to purple...so it helps alot shooting behind bushes or trees...the Red outline blends alot in all the maps...

I actually like the look of the tank, it’s not too OP yet not severely underpowered
Seeing the Grille15 next to it the Grille feels sooo bad especially if you know how "good" the german accuracy can be .
Honestly...it looks like a properly implemented mid-60's MBT prototype. That was when weapon capability began completely outstripping armor, and led to things like the Leopard, that traded all the (at the time) ineffective armor for mobility and gun performance. This thing then sacrifices more speed for even more gun performance.
Sounds like it'd be great for a ERA/Smoke Launcher upgrade.
It seems reasonable for stats, and does looks like it plays better as a hybrid med/hvy gun kind of vehicle.

Can you do an updated review of the object 277 for ranked and other battles? With the new modules and 10v10 would love an updated review as you recommend it on stream as a versatile tank
Why do u recommend the Turbo if in face of such high terrain modifications ImpGroucers would be much better?

Basically an 8 or 9 heavy tank Hull and turret, with the 705A gun, on a more mobile platform
20:00 that 430U is an absolute chad
It looks like a Sheridan with a buffed derp gun, among some other things of course. Not hating on it though, I love the way this TD looks

I play on the console version but still watch your videos cause a lot of this stuff eventually makes it to console but hearing that this is the first tier X Tank destroyer with a turret since the Waffenträger auf E 100 is very surprising to me since we still have the Waffenträger auf E 100 plus the object 268 v5
The V5 is on PC as well as of now.
I wouldn't go for a turbo, I'd rather go for grousers, since the engine power is fine and all that's keeping you back is resistance
For me it feels like a Hellcat that have a 152mm gun slapped on, and being an avid Hellcat driver in Blitz myself I wish it comes to Blitz soon

i think camo is based on the height of the tank. Pretty sure grille is taller than 114

Given the bad terrain resistances are what hold the mobility back could this be a tank on which Additional Grousers are worth it?

When he turns the turret to the back (like in 18:45) it looks like an obj. 264 4 :P

This tank destroyer promises as it could be used in different roles in my opinion. The curious thing is to see the obj chassis. 277 and what looks like the turret of the modern Russian artillery MSTA-S. Chinese copies are everything xd

Thank god it's not another ridge-line warrior with impenetrable turret armor. Finally something that's actually balanced and seems fairly fun to play and play against as well.
I mean weegee is testing some british 650 alpha rhinoceronte-esque ridgeline warrior tank with 292 base pen at t8.

I'm glad they're not adding more completely broken tanks. This one seems balanced, but could use a mobility buff.
I actually am a big fan of this new tank.. II wish they would introduce it as a new line of Chinese TD's.
It looks rather balanced not like a Concept 1B for example. I will play Ranked but not for the 114 SP2 but to rech Division 2 and buy the Concept 1B. During the last Ranked season I bought the Kampfpanzer50t and I am loving it.
Maybe this is how Obj. 705 A should be like? Or just a reversed-Obj. 705 A. Take the armor from Obj. 705 A and give more accuracy, more rate of fire, and then boom! 114SP2 here!

Im getting it to get the 260, cause I'm terrible in tds and arty because I have zero patience for sniping and camping and generally not actively helping the team, so I die very early in most tds except the v4 but that thing just lacks the flexibility to get me past that 8k threshold, unless 8k worth of heavy tanks wants to sit in front of me and not run away in an attempt to avoid me, I'm going to need something where I can seek the damage myself

I have seen players use Grousers with this tank. Solving the ground resistance problem. Maybe better than turbo?

it kind of looks like an E100 but smaller and more flat angles. or rougher angles.
You have to be armoured or be the speed, well and autoreloader or loader is nice too, or high dpm or high alfa and i dont see any of theese

Sprocket has only been out for a week and WG already uses it for their designs.
0.40 dispersion in the turret while moving for the Grille 15...absolutely disgusting considering the lack of penetration that glass td has. It's absolutely ridiculous how nerfed the german td is compared to other tds and with the HE changes there's nothing better, in fact things got even worse.
Wait, if you want to improve its speed over various terrain wouldn't you go for Additional Grousers instead of a Turbo to improve your terrain resistances and thus boost your speed over terrain? AG will give you better speed over soft/Med/hard terrain then a turbo will and is arguably better value then just slapping a turbo on everything just because it suffers from mobility issues
Regular turbo, yes. Get grousers. If you have bond or bounty turbo use those. The reason is bounty or bond turbo gives 47 effective top speed on hard, and better reverse speed, which you will always meet.
