This seems like a great city! I don't recall seeing any murals in the city, or did I miss something, I love the murals other cities have. The parks are beautiful. It’s about and hour, hour and a half depending on traffic!
Amazing video of the city I live in, you should definitely go to Tepoztlán is a Pueblo Mágico and climb El Tepozteco in which you will fin a piramid at the top of the mountain. 😁 also you can go to the ruins of Xochicalco and maybe Cuautla. There are many beautiful places here ✨ keep having fun and enjoying my beautiful state of Morelos.

I live a few yards away from chapultepec oark in Cuernavaca. The City is not what it used to be before. There were hundreds if not thousands of american residents in the past, it was a very kind of California looking City back in the early 2000s late. 1990s but it is not as beautiful as it was before.. Lots of very poor quality roads and most of the streets full of potholes. And yes you are right Lots of the residents are from México City.
I work in México city and come on weekends to my house..here, I miss Cuernavaca as it was back then.. I had Many friends from all over the World..but they dont live here anymore. It was considered a Middle to upper class City with huge houses but as I just said.. Not what it used to be, nice to see some. Tourism back in our City.. It was decreasing a lot due to insecurity. Have a good one.

What a beautiful city. After the excitement and craziness of Mexico City this must've been a great change up. Sony historical places and art studios. Love those Botanical Gardens. So much looking great food. That little waffle tortilla looked amazing. Seems like my kind of town with that consistent temperature.

We only visited one restaurant during our layover, also a great comida corrida deal for $55 mxn, it's called Emiliano's. Super close to where you're staying! Not stalking you.. we just happened to see you get off your taxi and into your building LOL we were half asleep
Oh yes! That is where we ate our first meal! It was funny though I ordered and then 15 m minutes later the waiter comes and says they don't have what I wanted. I was like dang I thought you were coming with the food haha! They had a lot of nice comida corrida spots - like in Oaxaca!
