  • This video is a quick demonstration on how to use a bridge cam gauge to aide with welding inspection. This video will show how to use a bridge cam gauge to check undercut depth, butt weld reinforcement, external misalignment, fillet leg length, and weld preparation angle. When using the bridge cam gauge for visual inspection it is important to ensure the gauge has both feet on the parent material to avoid inaccurate readings. The Bridge Cam gauge is a multipurpose gauge used to assist welding visual inspection, suitable to be used by welders, welding supervisors or welding inspectors. The Bridge Cam is typically used to measure depth of undercut, butt weld reinforcement height, fillet leg length and weld preparation angles.
