GTAW Walking the cup, a different perspective
Walking the cup is not new but seeing it this way not only shows you the technique clearly, but it gives you a different perspective on GTAW. You can see the depression of the weld pool from the arc voltage, the solidification of the deoxidisers, and the final solidification of the weld crater like never before.

Distortion in Welding
Просмотров 66 тыс.3 года назад
Distortion is easier to control when you understand what causes it. If you do not understand distortion all of you hard work making a component goes out the window, it can mean having to correct distortion or even refabricating the component. This is expensive and frustrating. Technoweld has developed this video to give you the 'know how'. This first video on distortion is suitable for everyone...

What type gauge for depth single and double Bevel ?i need measure depth after arc gouging

What type gauge for depth single and double Bevel ?i need measure depth after arc gouging
Great information, but what's with the stupid loud distracting foreground muzak? Why would you think we need it?
Thanks a lot for video.... That was great
Clamp meter has nothing to do with measuring voltage, as demonstrated.
pls increase the quality of videos
I hate that flexi 😡
thank you, quick and easy explanation
ruclips.net/video/2vuGlcbDwKY/видео.htmlsi=6fRPtiRWO3wSMFuz Very similar 🤔
thank you for info
So when the throat isnt right do you just lay down another weld? or are you starting over and have to grind away and re-weld all of it?
On the realignment part, do you put it on the high side or the low side for the readings ??? I have two different readings from different size..
❤❤❤❤
The more I learn about distortion the more I have to keep it in mind every time I weld. Thanks
Hard job. yet paid like shit
This is a similar video as the Walt diseny production lol
Thanks for the education.
Are you guys serious? You are completely disregarding things like arc force, surface tension, and slag formation.
How!? Never seen this perspective before 👍👍
What if you had a jet of nitrogen gas blowing on it to cool it down immediately
Use water a compressed air to cool it down
Wow, this information could not be more wrong. Ctwd has nothing to do with arc length in a CV system.....
7mm
ruclips.net/video/2vuGlcbDwKY/видео.html 🤨🤨🤨
That narration has to be the most "I hate my job" reading ever.
The other bar shall be touching the vevel of the pipe and the reading should be read from the zero line on it
Not so clear!
Can someone tell what is the reading of undercut. I mean left to zero what is the value
Left of zero would be your starting point for inspecting undercut. First 2 lines equal 1/16 of an inch undercut.
Whew! It is much more complicated than we thought! Best of luck and thanks for sharing!
Well, it's not that hard, predicting the position that the plates will get after welding is sometime complicated. But, in anyway, it's not difficult to find it. :)
Gotta love that mascot of theirs. But aside from that, the video was pretty informative.
Usefully one
how does this have only 20k views?? this was amazing!!! thank you for this!
thank you !!
We used fixtures on everything we welded. Nearly 100% of production welds use fixtures. It might put more stress on the weld but mild steel has a tensile strength of 50,000# per ½" square, filler metals have a minimum of 60,000# per ½" square or more. Since the weld is stronger, shouldn't it be fine to have more stresses?
I bought a few movies but they all disappeared,. I would like back BIG BUSINESS and RADIO DAYS, don't care about "refund"
Que precio actual tiene
very informative video
Mentioning what selection the meter should be on is also important. AC or DC, beginners may overlook the smallest detail.
Good job
nice work

I'm new to welding and was wondering if I should preheat my metal when the outside temperature is around 40°F or below? I've done some research but none of the places or websites give me the same anwser
Didn't have a chance to watch all this video yet but would a infared thermometer work in place of these crayons?
Bruh. the video is 1 minute. how did you not have the chance to watch all of it
ruclips.net/video/2vuGlcbDwKY/видео.html
Very good explanation
Not working
Nice video
/Awesome tips, mate!/
