Well, he HAS got a mark on his breeches. He was probably unlucky and it happened right before parade. Unfortunately white breeches are rather unforgiving…..it happens…and he wasn’t the only one to have a little adjustment made.
Peter was the best still is in my opinion. None of them even come close. I’m sure they’re all good guards and really work hard. But there is no comparison to Peter. They all know it.
ESSE POLICIAL DA BARBA RUIVA É MUITO BOM, ESTÁ SEMPRE ANTENTO E AFASTA BEM OS TURITAS NA HORA DA INSPEÇÃO , TODOS OS VÍDEOS QUE ELE ESTÁ EU PERCEBO BEM COMO ELE COLOCA ORDEM NO LOCAL!!!!!!
Every 24 hours at 11am (10 on Sundays). The Blues and Royals (these guys in blue tunics, red helmet plumes) alternate with the Life Guards (red tunics, white helmet plumes) In that 24 hour period the horses change every hour and the dismounted guards standing in the archways change every 2 hours.
Waiting to be inspected. It's the last inspection of the day, informally known as the "punishment parade" When Queen Victoria visited unexpectedly one day and found her soldiers drunk and gambling on duty, she ordered that they be inspected every day at 4pm for 100 years as a punishment, to ensure they were always sober and working. When the 100 years ended, the late Queen Elizabeth continued the inspection as a tradition. 4pm is when the horses go off duty and a dismounted guard continues to stand until 8pm when the gates are locked and a single sentry keeps watch through the night.
He’s young and still learning. While yes it would be wonderful if a horse could be shown something once and thereafter just “know the ropes”, sadly just like us they all differ in their ability to absorb new information and systems. Some take longer than others to get accustomed to new things and need time to acclimatise.
Number four and number one. are my absolute favorites he picked on Ellis for his good looks a bit jealous
My favourites too .

I agree, the other Captains make this a fun event, making the men all smile. A bit bitchy I thought.

Poor guy, the four, he has dirty uniform and the inspector often tell him something, I hope without consequences

They don't get on parade with dirty uniforms, I think he was just nit picking.
