Hands down the most brutal savage rythym player EVER!!! NOBODY. Has skillz like Dave man. ..Metallica had no choice to fire him or call the band Davetallica........
@@HAlison1979 as a lead player definitely, but Dave is skilled AF. His riff writing, lyrics, and the fact that he can play and sing every riff live except for Poison Was The Cure makes him pretty talented. We all know that Dime is technically a lot better than Dave but he’s still a talented bastard
He's a talented and driven bastard with a weird vocal style. I used to have The Beavis and Butthead tape before our house got burgled in the 90s. Here I am now!
I love it because he could play severely loud and still sound clear. It was very unique and pure metal class. Miss these vocals because the tuned down hits list they play live these days sounds like shit in my opinion. Glad they are still releasing music though.
Wheww! Not sure if it was Nick or Dave before the solo. But yes Marty saved it! Laughs it off 😂. That’s what’s great band chemistry is all about 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🙌🙌🙌
Dave used to be a great vocalist with decent range. He could not sing this appropriately anymore. Most of the live set he picks now is based around his very limited range then tuned down to D standard. Sounds like shit in my opinion but I am glad the band is still going.
@@rickjames9507 it sucked when they started tuning down to D in 2013 but I’ve gotten used to it. I saw them again last week for like the fifth time and they were fucking amazing. Dave’s voice seems to be getting better with every show and sounds better to me than before the cancer. I saw them a couple times when they were still playing in E standard and Dave’s mic was so low and he did not sound good. He kept the band in E until he just literally couldn’t do it anymore. I’m glad they’re still going too. They still put on a hell of a show. Whatever keeps them going, I don’t care if they’re up there in wheelchairs. I’d still go 😂🤟🏻
@@samschossig334 I remember a couple of times where he states he would retire before he ever tuned down. I saw them in 2010 Rust in Peace tour and 2016. 2010 was far better. It was at the Medford Armory in Oregon and the show was very intimate. My friends just recently went to the Show here in Portland and the footage was very good. Glad they are still making music and touring. Seems like things are moving in the right direction.
Nick didn´t made a mistake... This song is about death. And what happened was just an effect to realize, that death comes suddenly when nobody is awaiting her. This was just one of the ninetynine ways. Other members held him up just by looking into each others eyes. Maybe I had too much koffee this morning, but this is so Symbolic.
Everyone bagging on Nick fucking up and it's actually Dave's mistake. He should play the chorus again but comes to the breakdown too early. Watch his hands and you'll see he plays E F# A (half a step down) whereas everyone else is still in the chorus. They just look at Nick so they can work out where to sync back up.
So your Dave was going to that thundering part “dun dun dun…….dun dun dun.” and he was supposed to continue the main chorus? Just trying to understand what ur saying
Yeah. You can even hear Marty still playing the chorus as it should be. Like I say, Dave seems to walk over to Nick so they can communicate visually and sync back up.
I am so glad I got to see Megadeth live back in 2000. They played Use the Man they played Kill the King they did Trust they did Holy Wars. They opened for Crue and we're way better.
I've been practicing some of these Dave lines with vocals lately - for me I have to internalize the vocals fully so it just falls out, so you can put concentration on the guitar. I guess could also do it the other way, but either way you need to know to sing it as well on it's own as you can play the guitar line, then put the 2 together. Trying to work out the subdivisions of his vocal patterns to the guitar line just doesn't work! Kinda easier to play the guitar line with vocals when you have a click to keep your hand in time, otherwise you'll often hit out of time (guitar on a vocal subdivision).
Se fue de tono en el inicio Dave y si en medio de tema se huevearon feote jajajaja suerte que Martin la disimulo bien con el solo que pena que este tema ya no lo toque obvia que ya no le da la voz Dave jejejeje buen tema carajoooo :P
Janoid Babzu lmao Dave has never promoted Trump. He has said multiple times he is an independent politically speaking. And him turning into a Christian is what saved his life from drugs and his marriage. People that think that being religious is inherently bad are as stupid as religious fanatics.
I just seen them a week ago and I was so hoping to hear this song or Wake up Dead. They didn't play either. And they didn't play one song from Youthanisia. I was quite disappointed to say the least.
Sounds killer live, I wish they played this more often live.
Or like ever. I bet they haven't played this in 20 years. Such a fucking killer tune.

Most dangerous band in the world
alvarez7205 you are right bro
Megadeth Rules
I agree bro
Dave didn't lose nothing when he got fired from Metallica. They actually did him a favor to start this band. Great band!
We gained another kick ass band for sure. But I do understand his frustration at the time.
Metallica stink in comparison
We got 2 great bands out of it and both are great live only big 4 i havent seen live is anthrax
God the pre-chorus breakdown and the chorus are to die for
The 100th way to die.
Marty for the save at 2:07
thank god i was there to see this live in 1995
wow, very nice
I have started listen Megadeth since this song, great song

I used to listen to that tape with my cousin Kurt. Back in the mid 1990's.
Marty is such a fucking pro. Nick fucks up big time so he just improvises some shit no biggie

Megadeth should finish all their shows with this epic song, it's perfect for that.

2:43 there is a mistake. He started singing "more efficient maniac.." once again instead of : "playground of illusion..."
Wow...what a live rarity!
Gran tema. También empecé a escuchar a Megadeth con este temazo. Deberian tocarlo más seguido.
No lo creo amigo, la voz de Dave ya no da para eso
Igual me gustaría verlo en vivo otra vez
Haha at 2:00 Dave and David both glare at Nick.
