I had a best friend that I really really liked and I thought that eventually we might be a thing but i guess she thought someone named lame looked better. My mom told me she couldn’t date yet so I thought I shouldn’t ask. There was a dance in my 4-h club and I could’ve asked her but I was way to nervous. I never got to see her but I wanted to hang out with her a lot more because she’s so pretty and I really liked her. My sister asked her for me because I was being too scared. Then she said I might be able to make it but I have a quincera. She made it way later and my family tried to get me to dance with her but I was too nervous and everyone tried to convince me but I couldn’t. I’ve gone swimming with her twice and I’ve got to hang out with her in her camper when she was over for 4-h. Those were some of the best times in my life. So now that she has a boyfriend I’ve come to this song. Hopefully it will eventually make me feel better. But this is my go to song for situations like this.🥹🥹
