Let's put it this way, you just don't like WOLED displays with a matte coating and that is totally personal preference you know why? Because Matte coating helps me play on this display during the afternoons in my room with sunlight filtering in through curtains. These matte coatings are super resistant to micro scratching which is super useful especially when you have little kittens at home that like to attack their own reflection on the screen and leave paw marks that are super easily visible on QD OLEDs and I had to exchange them for a WOLED. The coating absolutelty doesn't take away from the beauty of this monitor as from a playing distance the monitor looks remarkably the same to the MSI QD OLED that I exchanged out and even better during day time because blacks are not magenta. Stop WOLED shaming

rtings seem to love matte finishes. I wonder sometimes if that pushes companies to use matte. The GP950's semi-gloss is great and my C1's glossy screen is beautiful. LG's gaming monitors have become kinda bad (I have the 27gr95um mini-led and it's "gamer profiles" dim bad in HDR depending on the scene).
Yea rtings are great at testing, but bad at objectively looking at products and formulating opinions especially based on value. This is extremely apparent with their keyboard reviews, no hate all love, but we all have our place in the tech reviewing space.
@@TypeCTechReviews I share your affinity for brightness and glossy panels, so I always appreciate your reviews!
Oled monitor should be glossy panel
Agreed.
@@TypeCTechReviewsI wonder if new sony inzone ms10 oled 1440p is glossy or matte will you be reviewing it hopefully you do
Dude, glossy OLEDs are WAY more expensive than these matte ones- and glossys burn out quicker. This reviewer knows that, but failed to mention it.
Idk how people even use these on full brightness mine is at like 70
HDR, give it a try in a game like, Alan Wake 2, Dead Space
@ what does HDR improve exactly I have no idea
Bro review dell new Alienware aw2725qf monitor
Next one!!
You notice any screen flickering with ps5 ?
Yes, it is noticeable, mostly in darker scenes with fps fluctuation
Comes later 499 Germany Black Friday
Ths whole video could have been 5 minutes long. "I like QD-OLED, this is not QD-OLED so I don't like it".
Listen to the pricing at the time of the video, he is right, now the price is right
so many clueless lg fans in the comment section he didt trashtalk enough this uselss monitor so let me continue horible black crush ,near black chrominance overshoot in general dark scenes are a nighmare my old 1080p ips feels prenium next to this shit
Alienwarr QD Oled is top
If i watched this review before i bought it, i would think im getting one of the cheapest and worse OLED monitors out there🤣. But its already on the way so i guess i will find out.
Depends how much you paid but beware of warranty wording
@pedropierre9594 what is that?
Tim nice but dim
I bought this monitor and returned it after 2 days… it has a really bad vignetting, edges of the screen are much dimmer than the middle its really annoying and of course you cant turn it off… switched to asus same problem but there is an option in settings to turn it off so the Asus is much better for me and its much brighter than the LG
I played with LG on 100 Brightness with Peak Brightness on High and it still wasnt bright enough for me it would get really bright but then it would dimm after few minutes
And on Asus im playing on 60 brightness and if i go above it really hurts my eyes it is really bright
But one thing that i really liked on LG monitor was the remote
Which Asus did u buy?
@@SenseiBombuAsus XG27AQDMG
What do you mean, you can't turn it off? Makes no sense.
@@jessieball6195 Yeah you cant turn off vignetting.. middle of the screen is much brighter then on the edges. When i played cs or valorant my mini map and HP were too dark and in the middle of the screen everything was too bright especially if u go to place where is a lot of white color then it gets so bright that it hurts my eyes. But the edges of the screen dont change they stay dark. On desktop sometimes would edges get brighter and then after few minutes you can see it how it gets more and more dim. It was really bad for me. So im really happy with Asus monitor and im still using it :)
bros hating over the whole video

I bought it and my eyes are so tired after 30 minutes playing I don’t recommend I am trying to sell it
Yours eyes would be even more tired if you were staring constantly at a glossy QLED.
