Gloria DeHaven was very lovely and was a fine singer as well. This song, Who's Sorry Now is from the movie Three Little Words, where she played her mother in one scene, singing a song that her mom sang in real life. I love Gloria's version best and wish I could get in on CD.
DetTigerFan Your appreciation is well looked upon. Should you really be interested I'm sure that we could get you many of her songs on either CD or MP3.
I'm watching the movie "Two Girls and a Sailor" right now. Gloria DeHaven was a lovely actress. I also remember her from the 10 am Morning Movie in the New York City area; at commercial breaks Miss DeHaven would make phone calls to viewers in who could win money, it was called Dialing for Dollars.
Dan Egner i didn't mean the time slot was referred to in the tv guide as "Dialing for Dollars" and i don't recall capitalizing "Morning Movie". It was just a description of the fact that it was on weekday mornings at 10 am. It was only my personal memory about seeing Gloria deHaven on tv.
AS A 16 YEAR OLD BOY I USED TO WATCH HER ON THE "DIALING FOR DOLLARS" AFTERNOON MOVIE ON LONG ISLAND WHENEVER I WASN'T IN SCHOOL. AT ABOUT 45 YEARS OLD SHE WAS OLDER THEN MY MOTHER BUT I HAD SUCH A CRUSH ON HER.
GLORIA DEHAVEN I JUST SAW HER ON WAGON TRAIN WITH ROBERT HORTON I LOVE THE TALENT THAT THESE ACTOR'S AND ACTRESSES HAVE I LOVE GLORIA AND ROBERT HORTON IN WAGON TRAIN ALONG WITH WARD BOND AND TERRY WILSON AND FRANK MCGRATH I MISS ALL THESES GORGEOUS PEOPLE TILL THIS DAY💙
Love at first sight the first I saw Gloria, double that when I heard her voice. How soothing her voice must have been to all those who served in WW2. I am searching for an mp3 or CD that has My Mother Told Me from "Two Girls and a Sailor". Can anyone help?
She is incredible
Wow! Bombshell with killer voice!

I think it was called "Prize Movie" rather than "Dialing for Dollars".
Dan Egner, perhaps both were their own thing, regardless, can we not all agree that Gloria DeHaven was a beautiful & talented woman?
