Thank you I just used it at your recommendation for this weekend coming from South Africa to Porto!
1. Come in June during Sao Joao Festival
2. Go down to the Ribeira, enjoy the view and sing along with the street musicians.
3. Cross the bridge and chill on the grass at the jardim de morro during sun set where young people listen to music n drink and just have a good time.
4. Eat pastel de nata with a galao at Manteigara
5. Drink fresh pressed jiuce from de Mercado near Decathlon and buy pumpkin jam (loved the one with almonds in it!) and cheese
6. Go to Montesinho to the beach!!
I have been to Porto for sure twenty times. I always find something new and the city is unbelievably great. So is the vicinity.
It's the city that keeps giving!
I am always worried about Portugal getting way too popular with foreigners and making life unaffordable for Portuguese, (that boat has sailed!) not to mention a risk to national security on how much of Portuguese territory is owned by foreigners. But you two should be given honorary citizenship! Your soul is Portuguese and that is meant as the highest compliment ! ❤️👍🇵🇹 Great job guys!
Unfortunately there is no stopping the train whether we make these videos or not. Just like all other places, especially in Europe, tourists will come and people will move. And yes, it is getting expensive. Even for us Danish people!

Your videos are chock full of ideas...Well, after 10 visits I guess it nakes sense! When I stepped off the train from Lisbon I was in love! Four days later Porto felt magical and it's true that it's compact and full of interesting things to do, but...My heart is still in Lisboa!! 😁 We do need to go back though!!!

I had my first fado experience in Porto back in 2019 , truly loved it. Also did the Rio cruise by boat while having lunch.. that was awesome
seeing all the wineries along the way, all the greenery just beautiful. Can’t wait to go back and explore this wonderful city. You two did great with this video.👏👍❤️

The city of Porto has many secrets, in every corner there can be hidden a bar or restaurant that are not very obvious to tourists. And the cuisine is very varied, due to the influence of many countries, you can eat very well as long as you avoid the more touristy places that serve the typical menus. And finally, to feel the city of Porto, you have to go out at night: Pérola Negra, Maus Hábitos, Indústria, Plano B, etc... ;)

Gustave Eiffel did not design Ponte Luis I, he designed Ponte D. Maria Pia, a little further up the river. Eiffel did submit a design for the Ponte Luis I, but it was rejected in favor of a different design with higher traffic capacity.

Where have I born? you know, you leave there, that's right! ❤ Funchal ❤, but in Portugal Mainland, Porto is my favourite, I never heard that expression before about the city, but I like it, "A Theme Park for adults".
Is so old, but yet so young and rebel, is so beautiful, that even the most colder heart in the World will fall in love with, Porto is magical.
Madeira Island as that effect of conquering your heart and soul, and making you feel in heaven, Porto as a city as that effect to, and I love places that conquer Me, is nice to be used and abused by such beauty.

Great video; however you missed some main stops.
Next time come through the cost line to Miramar and visit sr. da Pedra (beautiful church on top of the water).
Moreover, when in Porto bay Flores, they should have mentioned Dop restaurant (2 minutes walking from the hotel); which is by far the best restaurant in Porto city center. Also, from the same group, in Leça da Palmeira (known for the fish) you should also have visited Casa de Chá da Boa Nova.
Now, I am not sure if you ever been in Comporta; but it should be your next trip; before it gets too busy (:

In Porto there is a unique accent that is very charateristic of Porto that distinguishes itself from the rest of the country. That's why said with accent, nation is "naçon" and "caragu" is a slang expression. Everyone from North/Porto knows what I mean. Rgds from PORTO

Foz minigolf in the park is great too -- when the city is too hot it's nice place to cool down, the video went very quickly through all of the delicious places and I must admit I never ate a francesinha since I live here, I've put it on my bucket list in Porto. Ta lego.

If you talk about fado ir Porto and you dont speak on the “ restaurante típico o fado “ you dont really know fado. Its by far the best fado profissional fado no Porto and one of the best top 5 in the country.

Guys the pace of editing is exhausting to watch. Miss your old style. This pace is ok for a few seconds of introduction, but let our eyes rest on things, the shots pass by too quickly, the content feels like a machine gun of information. Pacing, take your time, relax, drink less coffee when editing….
I’d be more than happy with a slow 1 hour version of this video with more relax conversation about what you’re eating and doing.
Unfortunately the vast majority of people want the fast paced video. We can’t please everyone. In today’s world people don’t have the attention span for long form content. But thanks for the feedback!
