This is so helpful and exactly the info I was looking for! Great video Stefano! I am visiting Portugal for the first time and going on a solo trip to Porto. I was debating where it would be safest to stay, avoid loud bars, and this was super helpful. In the video, you mentioned you streets to avoid staying in Baixa. Please can you share streets to avoid in Baixa and Cedofeita?

@@StefanoFerro Thank you Stefano, I shall! I just read your blog and finalized my apartment for a solo trip to Porto in May, right next to the Câmara Municipal do Porto and Avenida dos Aliados. Ahh, I can't wait!! The streets to avoid was super helpful and all the info provided allowed me to make an informed decision to feel safe.

which distinct is the safest and most affordable for living as expat without portequese?
Hello , i will come in porto for living. Please suggest me some place s or sites where i can find an affordable rent home for a month where all amenities are available. Moreover, some local stores available where i can purchase some groceries for me and most importantly I am vegan person.
Hi, for a long stay i would personally suggest staying in Bonfim. It's close to the old city, better priced, quieter and with all the services needed by people living in the city. Plenty of local stores and market around too.
