From some one that saw them live in a small venue in the us on 2022. This song is a staple on their concerts and it is so much better live. This band is not only famous in Japan they just finished n almost 2 year long world tour with sold out venues. They are the most humble and talented band i have seen in over 5 decades of life. Please react to live version they can go emo screamo to pop rock and everything in between. They are musically talented and their stage performances are epic. Most their songs have an anthem feel to it and i have said before the oor fans are the 5th members of the band. Or Japan Dome Ambition 2018 I think where he did Take What You Want and We Are…he was amazing and sick at the time…show was postponed for 45 minutes and almost got cancelled but he chose to perform since everyone came out to see them is what people who attended commented.
If you want to see how big they are in japan then have to see the live stuff. Just like everyone said. The two songs with the most crowd interactions are we are from ambitions dome tour and then the very recent renegades live performance. Maybe 1-2 months old? Should pop up at the top if you search renegades live. Crowds of 50-70k people singing back to them. Love the band but Taka is definitely my favorite vocalist

The band is actually incredibly huge in Japan, and they even tour the US. I seen them in Houston in 2022. Watch a live video and then tell us what you think. If you want a good rock song id recommend Mighty Long Fall, Dreamer, The Beginning, or The Answers Near. If you want to hear Takas vocal ability id go with When They Turn the Lights On, Clock Strikes, Renegades, or Wasted Nights. Enjoy!

Check out this song again at Eye of the Storm Japan Tour or if you want a different song, "Mighty Long Fall" at 35xxxv Japan Tour. For something more recent, try "Renegades" at Luxury Disease Japan Tour or "Make It Out Alive" at 1CHANCE FESTIVAL.
My rabbit hole to becoming a clocker started with this song. It was used as an end credit song in an anticipated movie. I had to know more. The further I traveled back, the more it suited me. The new stuff isn't bad either. Taka actually started training to be an Idol his voice has so much potential in it. He did a fantastic Adele cover.
Hey! OOR is super versatile, from screamo metal to mainstream pop. Live One Ok Rock is a must. I found them when Taka (frontman/vocals) sang at the Chester Bennington tribute concert. In my opinion, live versions are always better, which is perfect. For stronger things I would recommend Cry Out, Mighty Long Fall, Liar live. For softer ones, We Are, Goog Goodbye, Heartache. Just a note the chester performance is considered a below average performance for him, as he was sick at the time, ontop of not being able to hear pitch due to inear issues, ontop of intense nerves. Chester was his friend and idol. ONE OK ROCK were to open for LP on their tour, and then just before the tour he passed. So just heads up that its a performance that doesn't showcase his best. However if you want to hear him sounding like chester with the screams then checkout "Deeper Deeper" live at Yokohama Stadium.@@AndyCrimson

The Japanese television station (NHK) invited 18 year old children from across Japan to sing with the band during the annual 18 Year Old Youth festival. It was amazing and heartfelt performance for everyone! Highly recommend this for your next reaction to OOR.
