    Another great job. I remember when the TV repairman used to come your home. As a child I was so impressed by the skill of the repairman that I wanted to repair TVs as well so I joined the Army and became a radio repairman. I owe my skills as an electronic technician to the TV repairman.

    TV service vans, amazing. Nowadays you buy a TV you use it for a few years and you throw it out and buy another one.

    Love watching your restorations takes me back to when i was a child.my uncle's worked at the Lesney factory and i used to go to their factory Christmas parties that they put on for all the kids and we always got a selection of cars to take home with us.

    I find your videos incredibly relaxing. I suffer with severe anxiety, and along with the amazing transformations, your aussie accent is so laid back. My missus is aussie, so I'm fond of your neck of the woods. My wife is from Adelaide.

    Marty, I've enjoyed watching many different craftsmen showing off their Matchbox restoration skills. For my money, your videos are tops in this genre. If I ever find my old Matchbox collection among my moving boxes, I may take a stab a doing this. Or, I may just get lazy and send some cars to you. Thanks very much for what you do.

      Yep. I remember playing with one of these as a kid. The TVs disappeared first. Then I recall the antenna and ladder kept popping off so they were lost a while later. It's pretty cool that you can get replacements for these.

    Love the oversized straws as a way of masking the wheels!! Also loved th recreation of the TV sets for the back of the van. Really a glimpse of how TV technology once was!

      I had one, too. One of my favorites. I can’t even tell you how many times I opened and closed that little door. Lost the TVs and ladder eventually of course. You really bring back memories.

    Such another great restoration Marty. I think I enjoy the Lesney resortations the most because of the great detail they put in the vehicles they made models of. Plus, your painstaking attention to detail is so great in bringing them back out for us to all enjoy.

    Absolutely mint restoration my friend, I’m so happy that I discovered your channel. It has taken me right back to being a young boy and playing with my car collection, everyone you have restored so far, I had as a boy. Stupidly I allowed my Mum to let my young cousin have them when I was a teenager and never saw them again.
    You Sir, have inspired me to start collecting them again to enjoy all over again. This is now going to be my new hobby so thank you very much for making a bloke very very happy
