So Tawnya gets a MBA, get's a few job offers for over 100k outside of her city, refuses to leave Indiapolis, then cries about the pay?!?!? That makes ZERO sense to me. As for Donte, "BRUHHH leave that gf of yours alone!" Based on the way you spoke, it doesn't seem like those are your kids and I counted about 3-4 of them! Why subject yourself to that kind of life (financially) when you don't have to. You've literally decided to make someone else's struggle your own. Indiana is a crappy place anyway... and the state itself is racist af! I'd leave that place on the first thing smoking!

Donte has low self esteem. No doubt about it. He seems like a hard worker( which is rare in 2023). He should go find a woman with no kids and build a family that way. Dating Tamika with 3-4 kids and a recipe for HELL!

It blows my mind that people have so many kids when they are struggling. This norm will destroy the opportunity of generations. No child planning is absolutely something that can fatally wound your future self and potential. Even though the woman here got a master's degree, imagine the opportunity she could give one or two kids instead of five. I do however appreciate her drive to help others, it's sad to see how more kids can be a burden that many can't come up from under.

Now is time for boring, mundane office jobs (with health care and 401k) that you hated the thought of as a kid. I was bored for 35 years, and sure wasnt defeating Hitler or curing cancer or anything important like that. This is what you do. No more retail. No more Pizza Hut. Temp only to get into the front door and tell everyone inside you want more, and keep doing it. Dont need a degree to be a competent, useful employee who is promotion potential. The overpriced degrees are dumb too.
If you think 70-90 I is good. For gigantic student loans.
Yo can make that with certs. And minimal debt of at all.
      Middle class imo is basically,
You make a tad over the average salary,
you can meet all your debts and bills AND
      Have savings.
And have a budget for fun.
To put it simply, if you can take care of your life and still have money left over. That's a middle class.
If you have an emergency fund, and can cover bs like busted ac, repairs, a plumbing bill, etc that's middle class.

What's interesting with them is that they want all these illegitimate unplanned fetuses to born but don't want to pay for them with higher taxes.
I also don't see them lining up by the thousands to adopt any that don't have homes.
      Can you say hypocrite? 😳

The middle class has been hurt real bad by illegal immigration and US jobs leaving the country. Blue collar jobs like construction or general labor pool got saturated. An excess work force keeps wages low because of supply and demand (economics 101).
When Bill Clinton pushed for China to get in the World Trade Organization with most favored nation status, the giant sucking sound of middle class jobs moving to China also put pressure on the manufacturing that remained.Illegal immigration hurts poor Americans the most, who hires illegals? Rich people do.
Continuous deficit spending by the US government pushed inflation and middle class wages remained stagnant.Families that used to make it on one salary needed both spouses to have jobs or they struggled.
This put strains on the family unit and divorce rates started to rise. Single parent households are one wrung from being in poverty. College loans put people in debt instead of improving prospects.
