Agreed. Costco alone her 2 % rebate check from last year was 1200. That means she spent 60K at Costco alone last year. That’s almost 5K per person that year. Her margins are low. Her 15 minutes are almost up thank goodness. The food she feeds the kids is concerning. I’d never shame a kid but the junk she feeds them is going to cause weight issues and the only reason I am concerned is because I care about their health and the fact bullies are cruel. I mean look at how much steak she cooked for everyone. She could’ve bought 75% less and had enough. The day they took the kids to the movies they bought everyone a large tub of popcorn. $250 for popcorn alone. Again 1/2 that would’ve been more than enough. She bought $200 for snacks for a trip, paid to ship it on the plane then didn’t use it and spent hundreds on a doordash order for different snacks because the kids didn’t want what she brought. There are times when she’ll buy 6 boxes of a warehouse club size snack for 1 kid and the next week she buys something else for the same kid because that child doesn’t like that snack anymore. I can find thousands of just waste. She buys a ton of Nintendo systems and they break within months. She rebuys games constantly. Insanity.
The other mom is another issue. Unkempt home very nasty. The house should be condemned. How she was able to adopt with that situation is beyond me. One of the windows is boarded up. They both need to get jobs and pay for the children they choose to have.

@@Stacy_SJA Absolutely. I pay 2500 on my mortgage a month. The 5,000 she spends on amazon is on junk that might be used once and end up in the garage. I raised 2 daughters by myself and could not afford to spoil them. I followed my parents rule. We spent time together. We made memories. Even after getting a job in the medical field with a nice paycheck I didn’t change.
Now I’m quite comfortable and am raising a 12yo. Same thing.
Here is a takeaway. We might not have been thrown gifts but when times were hard and families around us struggled hard I could eat, be clothed, and have heat. Same with my kids.

French toast sticks are just basically hand held french toast. Kids like them alot because they can pick them up and dip them into the syrup instead of using a fork. At least that's the way my kids ate them, but I made them homemade. Don't feel sad that you cannot spend like she does. I'm sure your kids are happy and appreciative of anything you are able to buy for them. And I am sure you spend quality time with your kids where she lacks in that area.

Never let her make you feel you`re not enough.Throwing money at gifts is easy when you`re getting it for shoving a phone in your kids faces ,showing off freebies and stuff you`ve got ,not because she`s worked hard ,or has a particular talent ,but because she decided to forgo her kids childhoods and privacy in favour of money! You should also report on The Happy Caravan. They’re also a family of 10 biological kids pregnant with the 11th that live in New York City. They specifically moved to New York City so that they could try to get their kids into Juilliard on scholarship. They all either play the violin or the cello. And they send their kids out to bask on the street well except for the two year old he’s too little. She films videos very similar to the Dougherty dozen. You know what I spent on groceries this week what I cook for my family how we homeschool our children. Oh look at what this kind lady sent us in the mail this month does this this month it’s close for Enoch next month it might be close for pearl so like she gets free clothes from people sending her stuff in the mail. I think we all wish that money was no object and that we could give our kids whatever they wanted and be debt free and could do the things we needed to do. It would make life so much easier. Sadly life doesn't work like that. There's always been a divide between the have and the have nots, although I think due to the cost of living crisis that divide is getting smaller. There are so many more people struggling to make ends meet now so I think everyone needs to shop smarter, find the best deals, make sure you're only buying what you need to avoid food wastage and avoid buying something you already have and make meals go further and avoid complex cooking where you need like 30 ingredients for one meal because you'll save so much money and time by making something just as tasty with less ingredients. I don't hold anything against Alicia for showing what she spends, it's her money, she can spend it how she likes and she does spend a lot of her money on the kids, you don't see her going on massive shopping sprees for bags or jewellery for herself, it's spent on the kids. Although even if she did want to blow her money on herself she could. I don't hate her for it although I can see why people don't like it when she's spending $5000 a month on Amazon and people are struggling to buy food or heat their homes or clothe their kids or look after their pets or keep their car on the road or pay debts off. I also think though if she only added the pictures of what she brought in a month from Amazon WITHOUT the prices that people would want to know how much it added up to. I don't think she could win either way xx
