She’s a total mess. Time management seems to be an issue. I think in some way she’s a hoarder and has a shopping addiction. She spends $$$$$ on junk then is a cheapskate in places where it would matter. Like the mattress pads she just bought. I totally can see the report of her sitting in the fire station parking lot on her phone. In many places it’s illegal to use your phone while driving and I pull over if I need to even before the law went into effect. A few were wanting proof of Lush being in the parking lot. And you know if that proof was shown Lush would be going after the firefighters wanting their job if the person reporting about it did show it. I think lush has mental issues that are not being addressed. The child who had their mattress ruined isn’t one of the kids she lavishes attention on in the first place. As far as it being thrown out I would’ve done the same because chances are it was a foam mattress and is very difficult to clean. the house size is the same as if a family of four was living in an average size hotel room. 13 people living in a 2700sq ft house is crazy.
I'd get the mini fridges if we were dealing with older children (like teenagers) or when you have children who had suffered severe abuse and neglect where they went through food insecurity. Sometimes children are reassured when they know that they have something of their own where they know their favourite food or snacks are stored, but I'd keep the mini fridge in the kitchen where they'd know it was there's so they could get their snacks if they were hungry. For teenagers, they sometimes get jobs where they spend money on their own food or snacks so having mini fridges in their room isn't so frown worthy as what is going on here. My mother got me a mini fridge when I was sixteen because I didn't want my siblings or my stepfather thinking that whatever is in the fridge they could eat... it was worse with my stepfather who still believes that anything we get for ourselves is his to take. However, what Alicia is doing with the mini fridges here is just bizarre. Filling them up with candy that doesn't need to go into the fridge among other things is not teaching children anything. It's most certainly not teaching any child that has food insecurity issues or trauma associated with food (including abuse and neglect) how to cope with their trauma.
I heard she lied on the adoption application your only allowed a number of adoptions under the same roof . She only allows her kids certain amount of time for screen time she needs to practice what she preaches
The mattress protectors disappeared?? The woman of so many lies! And poor Patrick gets a camping mattress, while she can go out and buy hundreds of dollars worth of crap all the time. the overconsumption i understand, but why would giving her kids cash be a problem? idk i get it can be considered spoiled but many kids get money for easter and other holidays, maybe just not 100+ dollars. i don’t think a mom getting things for her kids is bad, but getting all that and not a mattress is irresponsible.
this is crazy... ya I love ikea mattresses... they were hard to get in the pandemic but for her it seems an ongoing issue... why not have a spare one for sleepovers or when this happens.. I would never go w out rubber sheets... we have pets/periods/used to eat in bed, always had them.
That woman shouldn't be in charge of the care for a pet rock , let alone a child . She just doesn't have any natural motherly instincts . Everything she does is for , and , in front of , a camera . My guess is that she wanted a reality TV show and was willing to go as far as using children for the hope of getting one . It is possible that a person might need to wait to purchase a mattress, like waiting for payday. She does not have any of those concerns. And she seems way too matter-of-fact about a dog pissing on her kid's bed. She buys them, but doesn't train them. Neglecting the kids AND the dogs.
That's one thing that pisses me off too. It would be understandable if Alicia was lower income and had a RUclips channel documenting her struggles as a mum to all those children. She'd be showing how parents in a similar situation as her could make ends meet with a low income salary, but she's not doing this at all. She makes a lot of money from her RUclips channel and she gets money from the foster children who she doesn't want to/can't adopt. She could definitely afford a mattress for one of her children, especially when she's overspending the way she is with her store hauls.
How do you forget your kids need a mattress? She can buy $1000 worth of candy but not a mattress. Those kids will never make good food choices, because they’ve not been taught how. I can’t imagine what their dental bills are!
My older twins are the same age as her child without the mattress. I tuck them in almost every night. That means at least once a day i would be right there reminded of the fact they need a mattress. Furthermore, they spend hundreds of thousands on Amazon. They have Amazon assistants. Literally, "Alexa, buy a twin size Purple mattress." The device would say, "I found a twin size purple mattress for $xxxx would you like to purchase it now?" Yes. Done.
I've filled eggs with small toys or little stuffies (depending upon their size) and candy for my siblings. I'd never think to add money. Is adding money to easter eggs for a hunt even a thing?
Ha! So true. I remember as a kid sometimes I would find and egg or two months later around the house. Since it was like a challenge for my dad to stump us every year. I remember one time a few days later after Easter I went to use the microwave and there was an egg in there lol.

I'm incredibly pregnant atm and the pregnancy dementia is haunting me. I still would not forget to get my child a new mattress. My husband would not permit me to forget it either. The money would be pulled out of the emergency fund on the savings and ordered that same night. Necessities are not pushed to the bottom of a to do list and superceded by something as trivial as st patrick's day snacl buckets. Damn this woman, she's so abusive and neglectful

Same happened to my daughter, my cat was really poorly on her bed. She slept with me that night (hubby went on sofa) I ordered Amazon next day. It was actually the cheapest option for the best mattress. Btw we are a low income family, I'm disabled and chronically ill.. wow still managed! I have a good friend with 11 children, and the last thing she’ll say every five minutes is “what it’s like to have 11 kids.” She just gets on with it. And while her husband makes a 7-figure salary, they are the humblest of people. Sure, they live in a huge home, but that’s because they have eleven children so they need the space. No bragging, no trauma dumping, no exploitation. Rather, they raise their children to be healthy generous, devout, and kind. And they don’t give their boys the same gifts as their sisters because that would be just weird for them. And they feed them healthy food and expect them to help out where they can. THAT’S what it’s really like for a family of 11 kids, at least this one.

Why are you yelling, lol? I do remember this very well. She said that her foster children/adopted children have conditions where they had all these allergies to stuff. Yet, as somebody who has gluten (and a wheat) allergy, a lot of the food she is giving these children have gluten in them. She probably tried the gluten free thing and thought that the food was tasteless (it's not) or realised how expensive gluten free foods were and decided that the money she'd save with gluten options outweighed the health and needs of her children.
Also, everything has chemicals in them. Water is a chemical. An apple is made up of chemicals. So saying chemicals are bad when they are found in the composition of things like apples that you eat and the water you drink is a bit absurd to me.

The constant matching outfits is a little creepy. Most of those kids are fosters, and not even related to each other. I only have 4 kids, and they are obsessed with being individuals with individual preferences, and individual styles. They would be horrified if I bought them all matching swimsuits, matching towels, matching goggles, matching whatever else Alicia can think of...kids crave being seen as the individuals that they are! They don't WANT to be just like everyone else! They want to pick out their own swimsuit, and their own beach towel, based on their own personal preferences! How does this woman care for 11 kids, and not even know basic things about raising kids?!? I would bet money that she does all this matching crap because she doesn't KNOW all of them as individuals...she doesn't know what each kid's favorite color is, or their favorite character, or any other personal info about them...because she doesn't care! It's all about the RUclips views with her.

Flaunting her ill gotten wealth in this way is also gross. So many kids are watching these videos and thinking they’re being deprived or mistreated by their parents because their parents aren’t overly indulgent to the point of being creepily unhealthy. And kids with FAS have a lot of impulse control and self control issues as it is, she’s doing the opposite of helping them. She even spoke about it in an old video, so she knows exactly what she’s doing is harmful to the kids who have FAS that she’s adopted. Overindulging kids constantly is also abusive, it’s just another type that most people don’t recognize as abuse. She’s setting them up for failure.
The minifridges are freaking me out...If they're just coolers and aren't refrigerating anything then food should've be store in there. If they don't get cold enough then it's not safe enough to store perishables in them. I always think about things from a food safety point lol. I'm also just freaking out at her buying new electric toothbrushes every two weeks. 🙈 That's not enough time to bend the bristles. What the heeeeeck are her kids doing to those brushes (probably nothing if we're being honest). I think she's trying to buy her children's love.
I’m willing to bet a lot of money sue is using the system and gets food stamps for groceries (by putting income under one of the children’s names as I’ve seen this done). I also worry that the kids don’t actually get everything she gives them. Like she takes it away after the cameras Are off. I don’t trust her.
she's crazy - I just googled bikini box and they're meant for storage of your bikinis or swimsuits - so it's ridiculous that she made these for the kids - I know this is petty compared to other things that she's done....but she's sooooooo frustrating
I can agree with Alicia replacing the toothbrushes after the kids had strep throat. My kids doctor has recommended this after a throat infection. Other than that, my kids get a free toothbrush every six months from the dentist after their cleanings.
I have two kids and a very long to do list. What helps me is that I write everything down and put the list on my refrigerator and when I complete the task I cross it off. There is absolutely no reason for Alicia to be so forgetful and her priorities are mixed up.
I just watched a video where they found an old video from like 3 years ago of her saying all of her adopted children have fetal alcohol syndrome and they shouldn’t eat sugar and carbs and pretty much all the stuff she feeds them they shouldn’t eat. It’s crazy she is saying my kids shouldn’t eat crap but then feeds her kids crap.
I have to disagree on the mattress thing. My niece peed on my mattress, and no matter how much it was cleaned, it smelled. And in the summer, it REALLY stunk. You can never get all the urine out of the padding and inside of the deep material. You can't. If she can spend 100s on crap she can spend a hundred bucks on a mattress.
Did you have a mattress cover I had bed wetting problems when I was younger and my mom always had a mattress cover so she just took it off and washed the cover
Ahhh that’s a shame 😞 from my experience I’ve been able to get the smell/stains out, we were using protectors as well so I think that helped massively! X

I'm 45 and I still put a mattress protector on my mattress. I'm not ashamed to say that because I've had over 5 metres of my intestine removed over the years due to having crohns I only have one metre left. I've had an iliostomy for 24 years and there are times that my bag leaks. It's the only way they could keep me alive. I've never once just lost a mattress protector and if I did I would be aware of it. Alicia said that her kids beds had protectors but she doesn't know where they have gone. If she was present she would of noticed what happened to them or at the very least replaced them when she realised they somehow no longer existed. She then wouldn't of needed to buy Patrick a new mattress or here's a thought train your dogs or even better don't keep buying more dogs when you don't look after the ones you already have. She used to buy countless bottles of spray to clean up the dogs pee and when she bought Dayshawn his puppy she started buying it again.
On the Vegas video she says she sent the kids down to the pool alone. In the most human trafficking place in the states Now with personalized towels they are magnets to predators. “Hey, fill in child’s name, your mom asked me to come get you there has been an accident.” How irresponsible!!!!!
My mom was smart, she went to LLBean outlet store that had those personalized returns, so what if the backpack says SUZZENNE, (other than the teasing) no one was stealing me!

I think she was hoping that one of those bed sponsors would send her a new bed or 11 or 12. It looks really bad if an adoptive parent does not provide proper bedding when the child needs one. The food. OMG the food she gives them. Bake at home WITH the kids. They don't need sugar all day every day. Do these kids even drink water? I am an admitted junk food junkie, but in moderation. Kids don't know how to have a bit and put it away, they have to eat it all and now. Health wise, she is setting them up for failure.
So I take it she's still drinking tho the white claws are hidden. If the bed was so soaked that you can not clean it or get it cleaned how do you forget to replace it with out being drunk out of your mind most of the time? Has anyone seen her teach any of these kids life skills?

You want to know why this doesn't make any sense about the mattress ?? Let me tell ya why .... ( my own speculation but I see through balogna) the poor child probably regularly pees the bed ( as she has stated in the past some of her older children have that issue ) and she chucked the mattress out because she got fed up with the peeing in the bed and did that out of anger to punish the poor child. I can visualize it happening and I'm sad that that is my take on it but the tone in her voice while talking about it says she is straight up making it up because she got called out . Let’s be very clear. She also takes the government money for fostering those kids instead of donating it, which she’s been asked about before and refused to speak on, but then it came out that she doesn’t donate it. She just pockets some money she gets a huge amount of food stamps every month as well as no matter how much money you have when you have foster kids you get paid for it. That’s why she doesn’t adopt outright a lot of of them. It’s just also gross.

I'm legally disabled and unable to work and had to fight tooth and nail to get food stamps for myself and my siblings who I had to take care of. And I got denied cash assistance. It really is not easy to get any kind of assistance from the government and even when you do they try to find whatever reason they can to take them from you. I had paperwork and everything that should have waived any need to reapply for benefits and I would have just had them as long as I provided proof from my doctor that I was still classified as disabled once a year when the renewal would happen. It's a permanent disability. And they would still insist even after my doctor explained things that I could get better and I didn't "seem" disabled. They will also always try to give you the absolute bare minimum. I was told by multiple people who worked for my local agencies that pretty much deny everyone cash assistance unless they are pregnant. If you are pregnant they will basically give you whatever you want. Cash assistance. Food stamps. WIC. Housing assistance. Assistance for your electric and heating bills. That's the only exception. My neighbor who had 4 kids couldn't even get assistance despite having proof that she didn't have enough money after paying for all the bills and other expenses when her pay got cut. Which is supposed to be able to qualify you for assistance. Both states I have lived in you couldn't make more than $1200 a month as a household or you wouldn't qualify for food stamps or cash assistance. Even if you had none of that left after bills you still won't qualify. Thankfully both of my siblings are now adults and living on their own. And I am married and living in another state where my husband now makes enough that we aren't exactly comfortable but we aren't struggling either like I used to. Because of how I've lived I've become good at budgeting for food and necessities. So we are okay. This woman is something else though.
Not sure if she'd be allowed to donate money that is meant to go into the care of a foster child? I am not based in the States so maybe things are different down there, but up here, money given for the care of a foster child has to go one hundred percent into the needs and wants of that child. You even have to prove that the money is going where it's supposed to go. One of my friends is now a foster mum to a group of six siblings that she and her husband are planning on adopting. All money received for the foster children are to be for the children. She'd lose her foster children if she was caught donating money that was meant for them. Do we know if Alicia would even be allowed to donate money she gets for fostering the children? Because I don't think she would be allowed to do this at all.
Unbelievable. If it was her mattress or one of her favorites she would get it replaced the next day. But when it comes to exploiting this child for money nothing gets in her way and she never forgets to buy the sugar and garbage.

My husband and I bought a giant nice mattress! So ooo nice and my husband is 6 feet tall! And it wasn't expensive but its amazing. This is wrong of this horrible joke!

Hi Ammy, I was furious when she had time to shop for all the crap for the boxes including spray painting them but couldn't get a mattress for Patrick. While she was ordering things online she could of easily added a mattress. The fact that she admitted that she forgot with the excuse of having so many kid's and a long to do list means she doesn't think that she did something wrong. I find her even more frustrating than ever before.

I’m with you, I wouldn’t have thrown out the mattress just because of a little pet pee or child accident. That’s what a mattress protector is for. As long as the actual mattress doesn’t stink, then you can just easily replace the mattress protector if it still smells like pee after you wash it.

The $30+ Crocs really did me in. I bought my little boy (5) swim shorts and fake crocs but still very similar looking sandals to crocs for a total of... £6.90 for both! I feel like I endlessly spend a fortune on him as it is just for things he genuinely needs (he'll do swimming at school next term), I couldn't imagine spending like that on one child, let alone 11.

The child who had their mattress ruined isn’t one of the kids she lavishes attention on in the first place. As far as it being thrown out I would’ve done the same because chances are it was a foam mattress and is very difficult to clean.
the house size is the same as if a family of four was living in an average size hotel room. 13 people living in a 2700sq ft house is crazy.
I'd get the mini fridges if we were dealing with older children (like teenagers) or when you have children who had suffered severe abuse and neglect where they went through food insecurity. Sometimes children are reassured when they know that they have something of their own where they know their favourite food or snacks are stored, but I'd keep the mini fridge in the kitchen where they'd know it was there's so they could get their snacks if they were hungry.
For teenagers, they sometimes get jobs where they spend money on their own food or snacks so having mini fridges in their room isn't so frown worthy as what is going on here. My mother got me a mini fridge when I was sixteen because I didn't want my siblings or my stepfather thinking that whatever is in the fridge they could eat... it was worse with my stepfather who still believes that anything we get for ourselves is his to take.
However, what Alicia is doing with the mini fridges here is just bizarre. Filling them up with candy that doesn't need to go into the fridge among other things is not teaching children anything. It's most certainly not teaching any child that has food insecurity issues or trauma associated with food (including abuse and neglect) how to cope with their trauma.

It is possible that a person might need to wait to purchase a mattress, like waiting for payday. She does not have any of those concerns. And she seems way too matter-of-fact about a dog pissing on her kid's bed. She buys them, but doesn't train them. Neglecting the kids AND the dogs.
That's one thing that pisses me off too. It would be understandable if Alicia was lower income and had a RUclips channel documenting her struggles as a mum to all those children. She'd be showing how parents in a similar situation as her could make ends meet with a low income salary, but she's not doing this at all. She makes a lot of money from her RUclips channel and she gets money from the foster children who she doesn't want to/can't adopt.

I'm incredibly pregnant atm and the pregnancy dementia is haunting me. I still would not forget to get my child a new mattress. My husband would not permit me to forget it either. The money would be pulled out of the emergency fund on the savings and ordered that same night.

I have a good friend with 11 children, and the last thing she’ll say every five minutes is “what it’s like to have 11 kids.” She just gets on with it. And while her husband makes a 7-figure salary, they are the humblest of people. Sure, they live in a huge home, but that’s because they have eleven children so they need the space. No bragging, no trauma dumping, no exploitation. Rather, they raise their children to be healthy generous, devout, and kind. And they don’t give their boys the same gifts as their sisters because that would be just weird for them. And they feed them healthy food and expect them to help out where they can. Why are you yelling, lol? I do remember this very well. She said that her foster children/adopted children have conditions where they had all these allergies to stuff. Yet, as somebody who has gluten (and a wheat) allergy, a lot of the food she is giving these children have gluten in them. She probably tried the gluten free thing and thought that the food was tasteless (it's not) or realised how expensive gluten free foods were and decided that the money she'd save with gluten options outweighed the health and needs of her children.
Also, everything has chemicals in them. Water is a chemical. An apple is made up of chemicals. So saying chemicals are bad when they are found in the composition of things like apples that you eat and the water you drink is a bit absurd to me.

The constant matching outfits is a little creepy. Most of those kids are fosters, and not even related to each other. I only have 4 kids, and they are obsessed with being individuals with individual preferences, and individual styles. They would be horrified if I bought them all matching swimsuits, matching towels, matching goggles, matching whatever else Alicia can think of...kids crave being seen as the individuals that they are! They don't WANT to be just like everyone else! They want to pick out their own swimsuit, and their own beach towel, based on their own personal preferences! So many kids are watching these videos and thinking they’re being deprived or mistreated by their parents because their parents aren’t overly indulgent to the point of being creepily unhealthy. And kids with FAS have a lot of impulse control and self control issues as it is, she’s doing the opposite of helping them. She even spoke about it in an old video, so she knows exactly what she’s doing is harmful to the kids who have FAS that she’s adopted. Overindulging kids constantly is also abusive, it’s just another type that most people don’t recognize as abuse. She’s setting them up for failure.
The minifridges are freaking me out...If they're just coolers and aren't refrigerating anything then food should've be store in there. If they don't get cold enough then it's not safe enough to store perishables in them.

I can agree with Alicia replacing the toothbrushes after the kids had strep throat. My kids doctor has recommended this after a throat infection. Other than that, my kids get a free toothbrush every six months from the dentist after their cleanings.

I have two kids and a very long to do list. What helps me is that I write everything down and put the list on my refrigerator and when I complete the task I cross it off. There is absolutely no reason for Alicia to be so forgetful and her priorities are mixed up.

I just watched a video where they found an old video from like 3 years ago of her saying all of her adopted children have fetal alcohol syndrome and they shouldn’t eat sugar and carbs and pretty much all the stuff she feeds them they shouldn’t eat. It’s crazy she is saying my kids shouldn’t eat crap but then feeds her kids crap.
I have to disagree on the mattress thing. My niece peed on my mattress, and no matter how much it was cleaned, it smelled. And in the summer, it REALLY stunk. You can never get all the urine out of the padding and inside of the deep material. You can't. If she can spend 100s on crap she can spend a hundred bucks on a mattress.

I'm 45 and I still put a mattress protector on my mattress. I'm not ashamed to say that because I've had over 5 metres of my intestine removed over the years due to having crohns I only have one metre left. I've had an iliostomy for 24 years and there are times that my bag leaks. It's the only way they could keep me alive. I've never once just lost a mattress protector and if I did I would be aware of it. Alicia said that her kids beds had protectors but she doesn't know where they have gone. If she was present she would of noticed what happened to them or at the very least replaced them when she realised they somehow no longer existed. She then wouldn't of needed to buy Patrick a new mattress or here's a thought train your dogs or even better don't keep buying more dogs when you don't look after the ones you already have. She used to buy countless bottles of spray to clean up the dogs pee and when she bought Dayshawn his puppy she started buying it again.

I think she was hoping that one of those bed sponsors would send her a new bed or 11 or 12. It looks really bad if an adoptive parent does not provide proper bedding when the child needs one. The food. OMG the food she gives them. Bake at home WITH the kids. They don't need sugar all day every day. Do these kids even drink water? I am an admitted junk food junkie, but in moderation. Kids don't know how to have a bit and put it away, they have to eat it all and now. Health wise, she is setting them up for failure.

You want to know why this doesn't make any sense about the mattress ?? Let me tell ya why .... ( my own speculation but I see through balogna) the poor child probably regularly pees the bed ( as she has stated in the past some of her older children have that issue ) and she chucked the mattress out because she got fed up with the peeing in the bed and did that out of anger to punish the poor child. I can visualize it happening and I'm sad that that is my take on it but the tone in her voice while talking about it says she is straight up making it up because she got called out . She also takes the government money for fostering those kids instead of donating it, which she’s been asked about before and refused to speak on, but then it came out that she doesn’t donate it. She just pockets some money she gets a huge amount of food stamps every month as well as no matter how much money you have when you have foster kids you get paid for it. That’s why she doesn’t adopt outright a lot of of them. It’s just also gross.

I believe there's a income level on SNAP benefits too. Not everyone can get food stamps

I'm legally disabled and unable to work and had to fight tooth and nail to get food stamps for myself and my siblings who I had to take care of. And I got denied cash assistance. It really is not easy to get any kind of assistance from the government and even when you do they try to find whatever reason they can to take them from you. I had paperwork and everything that should have waived any need to reapply for benefits and I would have just had them as long as I provided proof from my doctor that I was still classified as disabled once a year when the renewal would happen. It's a permanent disability. And they would still insist even after my doctor explained things that I could get better and I didn't "seem" disabled. They will also always try to give you the absolute bare minimum.
I was told by multiple people who worked for my local agencies that pretty much deny everyone cash assistance unless they are pregnant. If you are pregnant they will basically give you whatever you want. Cash assistance. Food stamps. WIC. Housing assistance. Assistance for your electric and heating bills. That's the only exception. My neighbor who had 4 kids couldn't even get assistance despite having proof that she didn't have enough money after paying for all the bills and other expenses when her pay got cut. Which is supposed to be able to qualify you for assistance. Both states I have lived in you couldn't make more than $1200 a month as a household or you wouldn't qualify for food stamps or cash assistance. Even if you had none of that left after bills you still won't qualify.
Thankfully both of my siblings are now adults and living on their own. And I am married and living in another state where my husband now makes enough that we aren't exactly comfortable but we aren't struggling either like I used to. Because of how I've lived I've become good at budgeting for food and necessities. So we are okay. This woman is something else though.

I am not based in the States so maybe things are different down there, but up here, money given for the care of a foster child has to go one hundred percent into the needs and wants of that child. You even have to prove that the money is going where it's supposed to go.
One of my friends is now a foster mum to a group of six siblings that she and her husband are planning on adopting. All money received for the foster children are to be for the children. She'd lose her foster children if she was caught donating money that was meant for them.

Since the whole Ruby situation has been so exposed I for one really side eye these family channels now more than ever and I automatically thought did the dog pee on the bed or did her son pee his mattress and as punishment he's not had a new one? She's buying mattress protectors....why are all her kids peeing the bed cos she over medicates them maybe? What really is going on here exactly?
Exactly my thoughts, she did that to punish the poor child. She is evil. And also , how does mattress protectors for every single bed in the house magically disappear. She never had protectors on them in the first place ...can you hear in her voice the bull$$$$ !? So sad for them kids being so medicated and heavily poisoned every single day with the amount of junk she feeds them . That's all part of her plan too, keeping them dependent and "mentally sick" she is gypsy Roses mother .

My husband and I bought a giant nice mattress! So ooo nice and my husband is 6 feet tall! And it wasn't expensive but its amazing. This is wrong of this horrible joke!

Maybe she was trying to find a sponsor to give a mattress and thus the delay? Still not ok, though. If my kid lacked a mattress, that would be a priority (as well as mattress protectors for every mattress, to prevent future dog pee losses).
Hi Ammy, I was furious when she had time to shop for all the crap for the boxes including spray painting them but couldn't get a mattress for Patrick. While she was ordering things online she could of easily added a mattress. The fact that she admitted that she forgot with the excuse of having so many kid's and a long to do list means she doesn't think that she did something wrong. I find her even more frustrating than ever before.

I’m with you, I wouldn’t have thrown out the mattress just because of a little pet pee or child accident. That’s what a mattress protector is for. As long as the actual mattress doesn’t stink, then you can just easily replace the mattress protector if it still smells like pee after you wash it.
First thing you buy with new mattress: mattress protector - waterproof. Mattress two bottom sheets. Well that’s how I was brought up in the UK.

The $30+ Crocs really did me in. I bought my little boy (5) swim shorts and fake crocs but still very similar looking sandals to crocs for a total of... £6.90 for both! I feel like I endlessly spend a fortune on him as it is just for things he genuinely needs (he'll do swimming at school next term), I couldn't imagine spending like that on one child, let alone 11.
